Looking at the phone's screen, Alex didn't know what to say anymore. "Not only did I receive $100,000, but I'll get cashback too the moment I spend any money. This must be a dream, right?" That was the only possible thought he could muster, as there was no way he could be getting that much money out of nowhere. On top of that, he would receive cashback the moment he spent any amount.
Does a scenario like this exist in real life? I don't think so.
Though he had thought all of that, realizing that this had all happened right in front of his eyes, he didn't have many rebuttal points left. So, the only thing he did was sigh. "Let's just go inside and have as much fun as I can." Since his mind could not think of any possible way to deny the existence of this system, he decided it was best to enjoy the thrill of spending money—something he had never done in his whole life.
Walking inside the mall, Alex couldn't help but look around like a country bumpkin. Well, he couldn't help it; the sparkle inside the mall was overwhelming for someone who had only shopped at small roadside shops. "What should I buy first?" With money resting in his pocket, Alex looked at the clothing store and the shop next to it, which offered mobile and gaming products.
"Hmm. What should I buy first?" For a moment, Alex fell into a dilemma and ultimately decided to buy a phone first. He had been using an old mobile phone that had been launched five years ago, and it was finally time to say goodbye to it.
"Welcome, sir! What kind of phone are you looking to purchase?" As he stepped inside the shop, a feminine voice greeted him. Hearing this, he turned his attention toward the source of the voice and saw a woman with long gray hair and round chubby face standing behind the counter, looking at him with a warm and welcoming smile.
'That's a new expression I'm seeing,' Alex thought to himself, as the woman seemed a little different. However, since he was here for a specific task, he went straight to the point. "Something new—a phone that has been launched recently and has good features."
Since he had been just a poor guy scraping by, he hadn't shown much interest in phones before, so the only thing he could say at the moment to explain what he wanted was this.
"Alright, please wait for a minute, sir." The woman nodded her head with a smile and then went to the shelves to pick out a phone that fit the requirements Alex had mentioned earlier. Meanwhile, Alex quickly opened the web and searched for the best phone to buy.
Searching the web, Alex thought it would help him narrow down the list of phones he could purchase, but he was quite wrong about that, as many flagship models appeared on the screen. In the end, he quickly shut his mobile and waited for the woman to return, which she did quite promptly.
"So, here are a few phones you can take a look at. If you need any help, just let me know." The woman laid out the phone boxes on the counter and stepped back. Seeing this, Alex looked at her in slight confusion, but since he wasn't completely oblivious to phone specs, he grabbed one box and began to read the storage, RAM, and other details on the back.
After a few minutes of hard work, which he found quite troubling, he finally decided to take the latest model of the Iphone, as he had heard a lot about it being one of the best phones, albeit a little costly.
'Since cost is not a problem for me at the moment, I think going for this phone is the best idea.' With that thought in mind, Alex handed the box to the pretty and chubby face woman and said, "I would like to purchase this phone. Thank you."
"That's a good choice, sir. This is one of the best phones with very good security and other features." The woman smiled while taking the box from Alex's hand, then took out the phone from the box and asked, "Sir, do you wish to transfer your old phone data to it?" Hearing this, Alex denied, as he didn't have anything important on his old phone except for a few photos of Alissa, which he felt weren't worth transferring to his new phone.
After another five minutes or so, the store employee finally handed the phone to him, with the box in a bag. "Your phone is ready to roll, sir, and that will be a total of $1,500."
If it had been Alex from earlier, he would have probably gasped in shock hearing the amount that had escaped her mouth. But now that he had money and the cashback system as well, his mind was quite calm as he took out his card and swiped it. The next moment, a beeping sound indicated that the transaction was complete.
"Thank you for your purchase, sir," the woman said as Alex finally walked out of the shop, making his first transaction over a thousand dollars.
However, as he walked out, he realized that there were many other great things he could have purchased from the shop. But thinking about how he had acted like a newborn baby while browsing the phones, he felt it was probably a good idea to come back later and gain some real-world knowledge of those electronic gadgets.
Before he could ponder more on that topic, the sound he had been longing to hear finally rang in his ears.

'Bloody hell, is this even real?' Alex couldn't help but ask inwardly, as by purchasing just a single phone, he had received such an astronomical amount of returns. In the midst of his joyful ride, a bank message popped up on his new phone.

With the bank massage popping in the phone's screen, Alex didn't have much to say and made his way toward the clothing store, now it was to change his all over appearance.
