Black asked another important question, "But since you seemed to have gained your own will, won't you try to take over this body or worse start developing a soul of your own inside my soul sea like a parasite." He said his voice steady, trying to hide the panic and fear he felt.
Thinking if the other him knew his thoughts it would do something harmful to him since right now he is nothing but a child learning about himself.
Upon hearing Black's question 'It' felt amused, 'just what did he think I'm'. Still it responded,
"You don't have to worry about that, at the end of the day I'm still a memory, gained sentience or not. I can only exist until you Ascend to the Third Phase at that time your Physique would've been unsealed completely and you would've become stronge enough to inherit these memory's!." The other Black replied with a shake of it's head, with a light smile spreading across its lips.
When Black saw that weak smile he thaught he had done something wrong, being only a day old his EQ wasn't also fully developed so he was easily influenced by the other black's emotional display but he soon regretted feeling that way towards him.
Seeing Black's reaction at his weak smile "Until then you are stuck with me!."
"hahahaha... you chicken brain.. " It laughed at Black laughed in mild mockery and a lot of amusement apparently he loved making fun of his real self.
Even in his ethereal body one could see the small vain throbbe on Black's forehead as he observed the other him.
"I can't believe I have to live with this annoying thing until I reach the Third Phase, now I can't wait to reach that phase and get rid of him... "
"Hahahahaha... "
"Ugh... he is so damn annoying!"
"Hahaha.. haha... ha... h.. aa "
After laughing at Black for a whole damned minutes It finally stopped.
Putting the previous altercation to the back of his mind thinking of getting one back at It some other time, Black asked,
"Wait a minute, what is this Third Phase you talked about!" As he finally noticed something that he had missed previously because of his irritation.
Hearing Black's sudden question 'The Double' thaught for a moment with his hand on his chin and like a wise man It replied, "I don't know, even if I've gained intelligence as a memory, the memory itself is still Sealed you know, since at the end of the day they are still your memories."
Then It added again, when he thaught of something, "And as a Progenitor, other than your Progenitor Memories. The other thing you'll get is Partial-Omniscint starting from Phase One when all the other lifeforms gain this ability at Phase Three only Progenitors are a exception to this 'Cosmic Rule'"
However it released a long sigh before continuing again...
"But when all is said and done you are still weak, therefore it would be severely limited to your Stage. Since you're in the Second Stage of Assencion of the Mortal Phase your Partial-Omniscint would be limited to Rank six but as you Ascend to the next stage which starts from the Seventh Rank. It would evolve too!." Finally It ended It's long explanation.
Double waited for Black to finish compherending all the information he had shared in one go. As he watched Black's make numerous unique expressions with an amused smile thuged at the corner of its lips.
"So it was this ability of mine that helped me understand all those things when I was just born in the underground cave... Huh!" Black asked The Double, well he already knew the answer after the long explanation, he had just asked on instincts.
"Yes! " Double replied with a nod of his head as it crossed it's arms across it's chest.
Then Black gazed at the strange black screen in front of him,
"The water that I drank in the cave, because of it's high concentration of magical energy, it served as the perfect catalyst that had awakened this system too... Huh.. " Black also got the answer through his Partial-Omniscint about how he got the strange system and as for what the system itself was or how his Progenitor memories had gained intelligent, his Partial-Omniscint wasn't strong enough to answer that. Not yet atleast.
But Black wasn't done there, he asked his Partial-Omniscint all kinds of weard and absurd questions but anything related to his Physique or Himself in general was a blank.
"Ahhhh... What Partial-Omniscint, it doesn't tell me anything about myself!?" Black shouted in frustration at getting no answer from his ability.
So, he turned towards Double to ask why.
"Well didn't I tell you, your Partial-Omniscint is only available till Stage 2.. Uhh.. or Rank 6 so anything above would obviously come as a blank. Why do you think there are so many questions mark in your information in the [Host Info.] It's clearly because those answers are above your Partial-Omniscints upper limit!." Double replied as he pointed at the system screen flashing in front of them.
"Anyway enough about that, I've told you everything you needed to know for now, only one thing is left!"
Changing the topic, Double asked, "Do you know what that jelly like moving and shifting small ball of energy is!?" Pointing his finger at the small ball of energy as he turned to his left.
In their conversation they had already moved almost 3 to 4 meters away from that small ball of energy.
Black also thurned towards where his Double was pointing at.
Black reply was a simple flat "No!."
Since He didn't know, He would say it straight and won't beat around the bush like his Double. He had already asked his Partial-Omniscint about what the small ball of energy was but the answer was a blank, means no answer.
It was probably because the small ball of energy must be related to his Physique or something which is clearly above the it's upper limit.
"Then do you know that Giant ball of energy up above" It asked again, pointing above.
But black just gave him a side long glance, his face screaming, 'are you serious, you want to do this again.'
"Hehe... Well let me tell you since your stupid self doesn't know?" Double replied with a creepy laugh.
