Kaito was stunned to see his current status. In just a short time, he had almost achieved A-grades in all his stats. Now, Kaito felt like he could destroy a house with just one punch.

"It's truly amazing. With my current stats, I no longer need to fear spirits except Kurumi or Inversion Thōka. I can handle them."

Kaito was currently feeling extremely happy because he was about to embark on a journey to become the strongest in the world.

"With this system, becoming the strongest is not impossible. It seems I'll be stronger than the real Gojo Satoru," Kaito said with a smile, but not an ordinary smile, but a sinister grin.

"Alright, it's time to draw the final prize. The system is using an extraordinary ticket."

[Ding! Congratulations, host, you've won the Omnicore (EX)]

[Omnicore (EX)]

A core that originates from no other world, but from the empty point where all universes intersect. It is formless, yet present. It makes no sound, yet resonates in the pulse of every life form. When the Omnicore awakens, the owner's body becomes the center of the universe, where all types of energy, be it magic, electricity, time, or even divine will, are drawn, absorbed, and subdued.]

Once again, Kaito froze, stunned, his brain shutting down. After a few minutes of stunned silence, Kaito finally regained his senses and tried to comprehend the meaning of his newly acquired skill. Kaito immediately clicked on the explanation for his new skill.

[The Omnicore doesn't simply absorb power; it understands, reconstructs, and controls it. No matter how foreign or dangerous an energy may seem, it instantly becomes part of the user's core. The enemy's power is no longer a threat, but fuel.

However, this power comes with a price. If the user exceeds the limits of their body and soul, cracks will appear in the core. If pushed further, the Omnicore will become a curse: turning its owner into an uncontrollable singularity, an entity capable of wiping out the universe with its mere existence.

The Omnicore isn't a blessing. It's a test.]

The world instantly fell silent, and Kaito's heartbeat seemed to stop. He froze as he realized what he had just acquired. The power was so powerful that it was unmatched by anyone in the entire multiverse. Kaito felt both joy and fear.

His eyes focused on the final sentence of the system explanation.

The Omnicore isn't a blessing. It was a test.

Thinking about this made Kaito wonder if he could accept this ability as a test for himself, whether he could control the Omnicore or whether he would be controlled by it and become an entity that would destroy the entire universe with his mere existence.

While he was contemplating this, the system's voice suddenly rang in his mind.

[Does the host wish to install the Omnicore (EX)?]

[Yes/No]

Kaito gritted his teeth. He took a deep breath. His hand rose.

"If fate wants to give me this... then I will accept it."

[Yes]

Kaito's body sank. Then he shivered.

Not because of fear, but because something was entering him. Something vast. Deep. Endless.

He knelt, biting his lip to hold back a scream. His entire body felt like it was burning and freezing at the same time. His muscles tensed. His heartbeat was no longer his own. There was another rhythm, like the breath of distant stars, pounding in his chest.

His knees nearly gave out. His entire body felt as if it were being doused by waves of heat and cold simultaneously, as if the universe were trying to seep into him. Images flashed through his mind: other dimensions, unfamiliar voices, exploding stars, unknown energies from a thousand worlds… all of them were rushing in, vying for space within his mortal body now too small to contain them.

Silence.

That was the first thing he felt after it was over. No sound. No system. No world. Just… himself.

His body remained where it had been, but it felt strange. Too light, and too heavy at the same time. He closed his eyes. His breathing slowed. His heart, or whatever it was now in his chest, beat in a rhythm that was inhuman. As if in tune with something greater… like the pulse of the universe.

Then he opened his eyes.

And the world changed.

The colors were no longer their usual. He saw streams of energy flowing through the air, like invisible rivers of light that had been hidden. He could feel the heat of the sun from a distance, even hear the voices of the stars in the night sky, not in words, but in the vibrations of his soul.

"So this is the power of the universe."

Kaito's eyes stared blankly at his palms. Then, Kaito realized something and couldn't help but ask the system.

"System, can I hide the energy within my body? I don't want to attract too much attention?"

[Ding! Don't worry, host. Omnicore can control and even hide the energy within the host's body, making it appear as if the host were just a normal human, according to the host's wishes.]

Hearing this, Kaito breathed a sigh of relief, and his previous worries vanished.

"Okay, system, open your status," Kaito ordered the system.

Seeing his intelligence stat reach its highest level, Kaito gasped and felt incredibly happy because he could now use all types of energy as easily as breathing. He then vowed to himself to control himself so as not to be overcome by the desire for power that this ability gave rise to.

Kaito then controlled his energy and concealed it, making himself appear like an ordinary human, and no one would know about it except himself. Kaito was very impressed with this ability.

What a heaven-defying ability!

Kaito turned to the window he'd opened this morning and looked out with a surprised expression, as the sky outside was already dark. He hadn't realized he was lost in thought.

Kaito immediately walked to the window and closed it. After that, he lay down on his bed, as he had to go to school tomorrow, the same school as the main character, Itsuka Shido.

Since his reincarnation in this world, Kaito's goal was to help the main character solve problems and defeat DEM by playing a supporting role. However, when the system awoke, Kaito had set a different, deeper goal than before.

Kaito immediately closed his eyes and fell asleep, remembering how heavy his mind had been when he received the ability that was a test for him.
