Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 executioner (2)

They came at full speed, tearing the clouds apart. The creature stopped on top of the castle, its massive body perched on the roof. On its back sat four figures, each carrying a scythe and dressed in clothes like Grim Reapers. Their masks looked like devils with long teeth.

"Wow half of the castel is destroyed, well i don't care, Should we say hi before killing him?" one of them asked.

Another folded his arms, sounding thoughtful. "Well, I think we should. He is a king, after all."

The third looked down, noticing all the people staring up from outside the castle. "Hey, we're getting a lot of attention because of Bubu. He's so big, after all," he sighed, shaking his head.

The people were too stunned to speak, staring at a creature half the size of the castle. Some began running in fear.

"We're done for if people spot us, you know." one of them sat down, gazing at the castle for a moment before saying, "Number 3, cast an illusion."

"Understood." Number 3 raised his hand, pointed a finger at the sky, and closed his eyes. A transparent layer started to cover the castle until soon, the entire structure was hidden. From outside, it looked like the creature flew away. The people saw this and finally breathed a sigh of relief, but inside, nothing had changed—the executioners were still there with the creature.

"Done," Number 3 sighed. "So much work, I'm already tired." He lay down and instantly fell asleep.

"Let's go." The other three jumped from the creature back to rooftop, landing silently.

"Is he down there? What do you think, Number 2?" one of them asked.

Number 2 shrugged. "Ugh, I don't want to locate him. It's so much work. Ask Number 4," he replied in a tired tone, sitting down.

Number 4 said, "Should I just cut this rooftop so we can see everything clearly, Number 1?" He took out his scythe, but Number 1 grab his hand and stopped him immediately, shaking his head.

"No, no—where will we stand if you cut the roof?"

"Ah, you're right." Number 4 put his scythe away and folded his hands. "Let's just go by the front door."

"Yeah, let's go by the front door." Number 2 stood, brushing off the dirt.

They jumped down from the rooftop and walked to the front entrance of the castle. They opened the door and stepped inside, but the guards stopped them right away.

"Who are you? How did you get inside?!" Two guards pointed their weapons at the executioners.

"Uh, we didn't do anything! We're friends of the king. Please let us go," Number 4 said, shaking his head.

Number 2 moved forward, struck both guards on the neck, and knocked them out. "Let's go," he said, leading the way.

Numbers 1 and 4 blushed. "So cool," they said at the same time, following Number 2.

They reached the meeting room and stood outside the door. "Let's go," said Number 2, opening it.

Inside, the king was already waiting, clearly expecting them, with two princes beside Arion standing in front of the king, ready to guard him.
