Ten.
Ten is one of the four basic techniques of nen. But it might as well be the most important one in Breck's opinion. Using Ten, one can control their aura to cover their body without leaving.
When it's maintained, it creates a shroud around the body that feels similar to standing in lukewarm water. Once learned, the body will never forget this skill.
Ten is also capable of reducing the speed at which someone ages. If you are skilled enough in using Ten, then you could live past 200; even 300 years is not a pipe dream.
But to be able to achieve such skill in Ten, you would need a talent so monstrous that it would be like 1 in 2 billion... Which, Breck happens to own.
"Amazing... You already naturally learned Ten after I told you about it once," Shizuku said with awe in her voice, and a tinge of relief that she did nto bother to hide.
Breck smiled, and without another word, used Zetsu on his body, eliminating his presence and scent from the world altogether. Shizuku's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Breck.
She could see him, but if she looked away for a second or was not focused enough, she might lose sight of him even when Breck was standing in the same place.
Zetsu.
While Ten allows a user to keep aura from leaking away from their body, Zetsu stops the flow of aura from their body altogether.
By closing all of their aura nodes, the user can halt all outflow of their aura like water from a valve, making their presence much more difficult or even impossible to sense.
Zetsu can also be used to relieve fatigue. This can help the body relax and regain stamina. Though this leaves the body vulnerable to aura attacks.
Breck released a sigh. Opening his eyes, Breck turned to Shizuku and nodded with a thumbs-up. His body felt warm and taught now that he could use nen.
"Now that I've opened Nen, how about we go somewhere instead of staying in Meteor City the whole time?" Breck suggested to Shizuku, who tilted her head in confusion.
"Why? Do you not like Meteor City?" Shizuku asked with confusion. She could have sworn that Breck not only liked Meteor City, but he loved it.
Breck chuckled at Shizuku. Of course, he likes Meteor City. It has everything he needs. To Breck, it's boring when he stays in the same place for a prolonged amount of time.
"No, but don't you want to go and explore the world? I sure as hell do," Breck said with a glint in his eyes. Breck wants to have someone with him on his adventures.
Shizuku is perfect for being his partner. She is not a goody two-shoes; she does not try to stop him when he does things, and best of all. She is one of the cutest girls he has ever seen.
A plus in his opinion.
"If I don't go with you, will you leave me?" Shizuku asked Breck with narrowed eyes. Her tone revealed a hint of threat at Breck, and it caused him to chuckle.
"I mean, yeah, I will. Not going to force you to come with me." Breck ducked down as a leg passed over his head. The air split, and the walls of the room cracked from the pressure.
Shizuku just used Ko and tried to kick Breck in the head. This head would have knocked him out and caused him brain injuries if he had not dodged.
"What the hell, women! I like that!" Breck jumped back with a crazy grin forming on his face as he met eyes with Shizuku. Her purple eyes were dull, and she was staring at him like dead meat.
"I don't want you to leave me," Shizuku said with a blunt tone, walking towards Breck while summoning her Blinky. Breck chuckled, moving back while looking at Blinky with caution.
"Who said I was going to leave you? Not me," Breck said with a chuckle, trying to gaslight Shizuku. It seems his taunt just caused her to walk faster towards him.
'Damn, did my teasers for this month cause this?' Breck thought with a raised eyebrow. This month of staying with Shizuku. Breck tried to seduce her.
Now that was easier than said. Because, believe it or not, Women are bigger perverts than most men behind covers. So, unless Shizuku was lesbian or had no interest in those things.
She would have fallen for Breck's seduction or at least shown some signs. Especially when Shizuku grew up in a place like Meteor City. She must have never been hit on by another guy in this place.
It's either force it onto her or leave her alone and not talk to her. Breck imagined that she did not have pursuers in Meteor City, if any at all.
Shizuku stopped, her eyes blinking at Breck's words. Blinky faded away from her hands as she looked at Breck.
"Really? I could go with you then," Shizuku said with a hint of pink on her cheeks. Breck chuckled, walking towards Shizuku. His hands were on his side.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Breck said, and Shizuku nodded. She moved to her bed and took her book before walking to Breck and out of the door.
She has her things and Breck's things stored in Blinky, so they don't need to pack anything.
"Shizuku, how do we leave Meteor City? Do we get to walk out like it's a park or what?" Breck asked, raising an eyebrow, as he doubted this city was that easy to exit.
If they could walk out and go to the rest of the world whenever they want. Then this city would not be unknown to the inhabitants outside Meteor City.
Something else must be going on.
"The entire city is monitored by the Mafia's goons and other countries. If they detect people leaving, they either kill them or force them back here," Shizuku explained with a glare.
"To leave Meteor City," Shizuku continued while the two walked amongst the trash and junk that the outside world dumped here.
"We need to break out."
