(A heavy silence hangs over the place following the insistence of Honoka's parents on their denial. Honoka clings to Misaki's hand, while Yoshika hides behind Ahmed, her eyes filled with fear. The principal stands observing the situation in silence, waiting for what Ahmed will say.)
Ahmed steps forward, his eyes fixing on the parents. His voice was calm at first, but it carried an unwavering confidence.
Ahmed (in Japanese): "If you are telling the truth... then there is only one way to end this matter."
The father looks at him with slight mockery.
Honoka's Father: "And what is that?"
Ahmed replies without hesitation:
Ahmed: "We conduct a DNA test."
The parents' eyes widen at the exact same moment. Silence prevails once again. Ahmed continues speaking, his tone growing even more firm:
Ahmed: "If the test proves that you are not Honoka and Yoshika's parents, we will leave immediately and won't bother you ever again."
He looks directly at the parents, then continues:
Ahmed: "However, if the test proves that you are their biological parents... and that you denied them intentionally..."
He pauses for a brief moment. Then he says clearly:
Ahmed: "Then each of you will bear the responsibility of your actions before the competent authorities, and the truth will be revealed to everyone."
The mother's face pales, while the father unconsciously recoils half a step. Their eyes exchange flustered looks, the confidence with which they were speaking moments ago completely gone.
Misaki observes this change, realizing that Ahmed's words struck their target. As for Honoka, she was looking at Ahmed in amazement, as if seeing for the first time someone standing up to defend her with such strength.
The principal feels the balance of the situation starting to shift. He quietly turns to the parents, observing their confusion without uttering a word.
At that moment, an idea struck him that might force the truth into the light without further evasion. He slowly pulled his phone out of his pocket... and looked at the parents with a steady gaze.
