(They leave Ahmed's house under the cover of darkness, walking together through the quiet streets, under the faint moonlight. Misaki walks silently beside him, signs of exhaustion still visible on her face, but her steps are now more steady. They finally arrive at her house. Ahmed hesitates for a moment, then knocks on the door.)
(Misaki's father opens the door quickly, his face a mixture of worry and anger. Her mother approaches behind him, their eyes falling on their daughter returning with a strange young man, at such a late hour of the night.)
Misaki's Father (in a sharp voice):
"Misaki! Where have you been?! And who is this young man?!"
(Misaki falters for a moment, lowers her eyes, while Ahmed steps forward without fear, but before he can speak, Mrs. Tanaka places her hand on her husband's shoulder, as if asking him to wait. A moment of charged silence ensues.)
Misaki (whispering):
"I... I needed help..."
(She exchanges a quick glance with Ahmed, then calmly says, looking at her parents:)
Misaki:
"I'll explain everything... just let's go inside first."
(Mr. Tanaka looks at his daughter, then at Ahmed again, and confusion appears in his eyes... He finally steps aside, silently, to let his daughter in. Ahmed moves to leave, but Mr. Tanaka raises his hand, signaling him to stop.)
Mr. Tanaka (in a cautious tone):
"You... come in too."
(Ahmed stares into his eyes for a moment, then Ahmed nods his head respectfully, and follows them inside... The scene closes with the house door slowly shutting.)
