(While the conversation continues in an atmosphere of comfort, a side door quietly opens, and two small girls peer out with eyes shining with curiosity. The first, with long braids, looks to be about nine years old, and behind her, her younger sister with short hair, is approximately five. Behind them, a small boy, barely five, peeks out, shyly hiding behind his mother's legs.)
(Ahmed notices them, and smiles gently. He bows slightly as he addresses them in a warm tone:)
Ahmed (in Japanese, with a smile):
"Hello! What a beautiful family you are!"
(The two girls stare at him for a moment, then smile shyly. The little boy giggles softly and hides more, while Mrs. Tanaka places her hand on his head with tenderness. Ahmed exchanges soft glances with Misaki, then looks at her siblings with sincere affection.)
Ahmed:
"You are all beautiful and adorable... just like your older sister."
(Misaki's eyes widen in astonishment and shyness, and she looks away for a moment, an involuntary smile appearing on her face. Her heart pounds with something new... a warm feeling she cannot name, but one that has begun to quietly blossom.)
