Chapter 6 - The Village of Akuma!

Kage: "Hakariiiiiii I'm going to fall—AAAAAAH!"

Hakari (catching him mid-air): "I got you. You're alright."

Kage: "Yeah, hell I am! I almost died! You knew I was gonna fall!"

Hakari (grinning): "I was just playing. Sorry!"

Kage (sighs): "Yeah, it's all a joke to you. Whatever. We're approaching the surface. Let's stay low and observe."

Hakari: "You're right. We're not here to start a war. We're here for the Code Crystals and the Stone Tablets. That's our mission."

They finally land inside the hidden village of Akuma—nestled in the heart of the desert.

Hakari (looking around): "Wow… this place doesn't have bright colors. They're here, but so faint—like someone turned down the saturation."

Kage: "It feels like morning and evening all at once… How is that possible?"

Suddenly, the ground begins to tremble.

Hakari: "Hey, is it just me or is this place shaking like crazy?"

Kage: "You're right. Something's not right."

The sands above begin to shift. The sky turns to a swirl of dust, and the ground beneath them rises like a platform ascending from beneath the earth.

Hakari: "This place is weirdly advanced for a village hidden in a desert."

Kage: "No kidding. One moment we're deep in sand, the next we're on solid ground. But why was it buried?"

As the dust settles, the hidden village reveals itself in full glory. Lush greenery spreads across the once barren land. Lakes begin to run, and dry trees turn green.

Kage (in awe): "It's like a dreamland... How is this even real?"

Hakari: "Don't lose focus. Remember what we're here for."

Kage (laughing): "Says the guy with sparkles in his eyes."

Hakari (clears throat): "Ahem. Right. Moving on."

Covering their faces, they begin exploring the village. It's nothing like what the stories had described.

Suddenly, a man approaches.

Village Man: "Hello there!"

Kage: "I think he's talking to us."

Hakari: "No way. Could be anyone."

Village Man (approaching): "You two—covering your mouths."

Kage: "Yeah… he's definitely talking to us."

Hakari (nervously): "Maybe he's just curious…"

Kage: "Yeah no sh—"

Hakari: "What can we help you with, sir?"

Village Officer: "You two don't look familiar."

Hakari: "We don't look familiar? You don't look familiar."

Kage (cutting in): "Sorry for my little brother's manners. He doesn't mean it."

Hakari: "When did I become your little brother?! And I do mean it. I don't think he's from here."

Village Officer: "First, I'm from here. Second, I'm the village's head officer. And third—you're both under arrest."

Inside the Prison

Officer: "Enjoy your stay. This prison will haunt you for a long time."

Kage: "Well, thanks for the hospitality. We were just here looking for something."

Hakari (distressed): "Kage… I don't understand. Since we entered this village, my mind's been chaotic. I tried to control it, but it's overwhelming."

Kage: "It's okay. Just breathe. Stay in control."

Hakari: "But you seem fine?"

Kage: "Something did try to enter my mind… but it passed quickly. Maybe my seven senses are naturally more active."

Hakari: "That could be the reason. Listen—I have a plan, but after I use it, I'll lose consciousness. You'll have to carry me."

Kage: "Just do it already."

Hakari (whispers): "Hai-Key—To every being and particle… Command: Miracles."

In a flash of swirling light and energy, both vanish from the cell—only to reappear in a random house.

Kage (panicked): "What the hell?! My entire body just… disintegrated and reformed! Hakari! Wake up!"

He slaps Hakari.

Hakari: "Aaah—I'm awake! Stop slapping me!"

Kage: "Then explain—what was that Command? Why are we here?"

Hakari: "I don't know how it fully works. My teacher taught me that Command—it causes extreme pain, like dying. But it teleports us somewhere random. It's a superior Command, and I can't use any others for a full day after."

Kage: "Alright, then we need to leave before someone comes home."

Hakari: "I told you—I can't move. It took a huge toll on me."

Kage (groaning): "For f**k's sake… Fine."

He lifts Hakari onto his back.

Kage (muttering): "Ooh, hell…"

Hakari (calmly): "It's hot here, isn't it?"

Kage (snapping): "Gods, SHUT UP! You've been talking for two hours straight! We're almost at the village exit!"

Hakari: "Yeah. We'll return with a plan."

But before they can leave, the desert trembles again. Sand begins covering the sky—the village is sinking back into hiding.

Kage: "Oh, for the love of—! It's going under again!"

Hakari: "Looks like we're stuck."

Kage: "SHUT UUUUUUUUUUP!"

Kage (depressed): "What do we do now?"

Hakari: "First we need to stay calm, second—a disguise, and third—find something to eat. These are the things we need to focus on for now."

Kage: "Easy for you to say while resting on my back. Well, first we need a place to stay."

Hakari: "Yeah."

Hakari and Kage move forward in the village, looking for a place to stay.

Hakari: "Hey look, there—it says Lodging Rooms."

Kage: "Thank god."

They both enter inside.

Kage: "Hey ma'am, could we get a room?"

The Lady: "Do you guys need two rooms, or just one?"

Kage: "Nah, one will do."

The Lady: "It's rude for me, but we don't see many couples like you here often."

Hakari: "Well that's true. We are special, right dear?"

Kage (disgusted): "Uuuh ma'am, we are not a couple. Can you please just hurry and give me the keys?"

The Lady: "It will be 2 Kohats for the night."

Kage: "Will 50 Kohats for 12 days be alright?"

The Lady: "50 is too much even for 12 days."

Kage: "Just take it. And we'll need two pairs of clothes too."

Hakari and Kage enter the room, and immediately Kage drops Hakari.

Hakari: "Oouch! Why did you drop me?!"

Kage: "Because I'm freaking tired."

Hakari: "Alright, alright. We'll rest for today, and tomorrow we'll leave to find the cave and complete what we came here to do."

Kage: "OK, OK. At least let me sleep for today."

And as they both go to sleep…

Something dark rises from the shadow.

The show has just Begun!

Because the night has just Started!
