The next day, five students joined Selion at the school. Shortly after, their teacher arrived, and together they set off.
Their destination: the mysterious and dangerous Mount Flaeron, located about a three-day journey from the village.
The first three hours passed in silence. Finally, Hex Noilend stepped forward and broke it.
"I think it's time we got to know each other," he said. "Tell us your names and your abilities."
One by one, the students introduced themselves. But one of them, Gohean Dae, objected—his ego and pride getting in the way. He scowled and muttered:
"You don't need to know who I am," he said, then stormed off ahead of the group.
His brother, Yuen Dae, gave a small shrug and said:
"Don't mind him. He's always like that," and followed after him.
As the hours passed, the teacher suggested setting up camp for the night. They built a fire and settled around it. The teacher left to scout the area, leaving the students chatting quietly around the flames.
Suddenly, the peaceful night was shattered by a surprise attack. A group of masked figures emerged from the shadows and ambushed the camp. Chaos erupted.
But Selion, using his electricity-based ability, reacted swiftly and managed to save Yuen. At the same time, Gohean showed his sharp mind by rescuing Mia from the attackers.
A brief but intense battle followed. Working together, the students defeated the masked enemies and tied them to a tree.
Some time later, the teacher returned to the camp. The students told him everything, and the attackers were handed over to the nearest village.
But the strange thing was—these attacks always happened when the teacher was away.
This didn't escape Selion's attention. He began to suspect the teacher might be hiding something.
He shared his doubts with the others. Most dismissed the idea, but Gohean said:
"No harm in trying," and sided with Selion.
That night, they made a plan. They silently subdued the teacher and tied him to a tree.
The next morning, when the teacher woke up, he didn't yell. He simply asked:
"What exactly do you think you're doing?"
Selion looked him straight in the eye and explained everything.
The teacher paused for a moment, then smiled softly:
"So you noticed... This was all part of your training."
The students stared at each other in shock. The teacher continued:
"Strength isn't the only thing that matters. Questioning, observing, and acting with courage—these are just as important. I'm proud of all of you."
