CHAPTER 13: THE FORBIDDEN CITY SPIRAL POINT
After the party, each of the five men who accompanied Grandpa introduced themselves to Adrian.
Adrián heard each of their names, but the only one I take into account the most.
It was the one with the grandfather's right hand.
"My name is Sam, just call me old Sam, the old man and I are good friends" – He was a middle-aged man, who had big muscles, and a prominent chin, he laughed a lot with Grandpa whenever he could.
There was nothing special about Old Sam, only that, from his fluctuations, he could feel that he was only slightly inferior to Grandfather.
Adrián also introduced himself to everyone.
"I'm Adrian, I'm seven years old and it's a pleasure to meet you" – Everyone greeted him in unison, while they continued to eat and drink.
It really was a great party.
At the end of the night, everyone fell asleep.
Adrian had arrived at his room, although it felt very strange to see him that way, he had spent a lot of time living in shelters that he made.
The following days, not many events happened.
In the city, missions were published daily, Adrian was tempted to receive one, but considering that the trip to the forbidden city was near, he didn't, I hope.
After the two days, Grandpa's team began their journey, along with Adrian and Young Ma.
"Towards the forbidden city" – Adrián said in a low voice.
In that place he had the opportunity to get the plants for Apothecary Gu, if everything went well, he would no longer fear for his life when cultivating.
In total seven people left the city, they all had their directions, Adrian looked at how Young Ma was very scared, and Grandfather had given him the mission to take care of him. Of course, nothing was free, if everything went well, everyone would get paid.
On the way, Adrian also noticed some bodies, but these bodies had all over their bodies bruised, even on the bones, it was a very terrifying sight.
"The death toll has risen this week, and now more in the north" – Old Sam spoke as he saw the bodies.

Now they had all been looted, and only their bones remained.
Adrian already knew that there was something wrong with cultivating, and that increased his determination to get such plants, even if it was very dangerous.
They continued walking for more than a day, until in the distance they could see the outline of a city in ruins. Now night had come, they set up a provisional camp, then several voices and shouts came from the city.
Even in the distance you could notice that several strange events were taking over the night.
When Adrian returned to see, in the distance he could see, a gigantic being who wore a black robe, and brandished an axe towards the ground, causing rumbles.
"A cursed abnormality, don't see it too much, they can feel your gaze, and it will give you a pain in your eyes" – Grandfather advised, seeing that Adrian was looking at such a strange entity.
While they rested in their own way, Adrian looked at the city, apart from the cursed abnormalities, he could also see hundreds of animals eating each other, sometimes a gigantic bird would come down and the scream of several people would resound.
To the south, something blurred appeared, but Adrián could not distinguish it. The north of the city was very far away, from the place where Adrián was, so he could not see what was in that place.
The next morning the whole group was back in shape.
Grandfather gathered everyone together and showed them a map.
"We will arrive in two hours to the eastern part of the city, the three of you will protect us from the beasts, while the two of us will go in to get the treasures together with the boys, they all have their orders."
When Grandfather spoke they all nodded.
Just at that moment when everyone was getting going.
Adrián looked a little in the distance.
"That couple is here" – Adrián murmured, while noticing their presence, it seemed that they were heading to the northern part of the city. At the same time several beasts began to follow them.
The forbidden cities were very dangerous, strange events appeared at night, various abnormalities began to devour any living being.
No one could escape them, some managed to survive by hiding like rats.
In the morning they had to watch out for the beasts that surrounded the whole city, these beasts had lost all reasoning, and if there was nothing to eat, they would eat each other, besides they had great strength and attacked at the same time.
There were thousands of them. So Grandpa's group organized quickly.
Everyone began to run quickly, as they entered the city.
A wolf-like beast attacked from above, but was pierced by a sword, no one stopped and they continued in movements, those who had to protect the group, were in constant surveillance.
Next to Adrian, Young Ma clasped his hands, as if he were begging for nothing to happen to him.
Hours passed, and they quickly arrived at the ruins of a pavilion.
"Guard the entrance!" – Grandpa ordered, as the four of them entered the ruins.
It was this place very dark, Old Sam turned on a small lantern. As they moved quickly, there was no time to stand still.
Adrian followed Grandpa, and Old Sam, as he kept an eye on Young Ma.
Soon they arrived in an empty room. In front of them was a door with several restrictions.
"This time we will break all the seals" – Old Sam, looked at Grandfather before turning the lamp, from the lamp some golden fire came out, approaching the door.
Grandfather looked at all this, and took out several black bars which he nailed through the door.
The fire of the lantern gradually began to erode the restrictions, it seemed that they were not so strong or had weakened over the years. The black bars sank deeper and deeper into the door.
If this continued, the door would soon open. Old Sam and Grandpa looked on with great expectation.
But at that moment a great rumble sounded throughout the area. The roar of a great beast fell like lightning on everyone's head.
