The system consisted of two interfaces: one displaying Ranmo's personal chakra and skill stats, and the other displaying system-specific modules. Both panels were nearly blank—aside from his age and stamina, every field was sitting at zero!
It was only after seeing the first line of information that Ranmo finally understood why Orochimaru had targeted him, a supposed blind child. It turned out he was actually a mutation of the Hyuga bloodline—a hidden bearer of the Rinnegan.
And he'd never known.
These eyes would one day grant him unimaginable power—and draw terrifying danger. Just thinking of how Uchiha Madara had gone to such horrifying lengths in pursuit of these eyes sent chills down Ranmo's spine.
Based on how the story unfolded, if Orochimaru had already discovered his Rinnegan, then it was only a matter of time before the rest of the major organizations learned of it too. That meant his path forward would only grow more treacherous.
He had to act quickly.
There was no other choice—he had to grow stronger. He had to improve both himself and his system—immediately, or he'd be dead before he even had a chance.
Ranmo lowered his head and looked at the unconscious Orochimaru lying on the floor. This freak needed to be dealt with now—if anyone else showed up, things could get very messy.
He crouched down, reached into Orochimaru's pouch, and pulled out a kunai.
Without a second thought, he stabbed it directly into Orochimaru's chest—again, and again, and again—each strike clean and unflinching.
"I heard your regeneration is top-tier. This isn't enough to kill you, right? Then how about this?"
He walked over to the table nearby and picked up a glass bottle labeled with a skull—sulfuric acid, one of Orochimaru's many experimental chemicals.
Without hesitation, Ranmo poured the entire bottle over Orochimaru's body—from head to toe, not leaving a single inch untouched.
"AAAARGH! You little brat! You dare douse me with acid!? You're dead—you hear me?! DEAD! What sorcery is this?! Why can't I move?! What did you do to me?!"
"Don't think this'll kill me. I'll be back for you, and when I return, the pain you've caused me—I'll repay it a millionfold. You'll beg for death, little brat. You'll live a life worse than hell—mark my words…"
Orochimaru howled in agony. But soon, his voice faded. His consciousness slipped away.
Until finally—his entire body was reduced to nothing by the acid. Flesh, bones, cells—completely dissolved.
Only then did five-year-old Hyuga Ranmo toss the bottle aside with a dull clang.
He turned and walked out of the lab. Stepping beyond the cave entrance, he looked up at the towering cliffside where the stone faces of the Hokage were carved.
With one leap, he landed atop the head of the Third Hokage's statue.
From there, he gazed out over the glowing lights of the Hidden Leaf Village, flickering across the rooftops like a sea of stars.
A blind child? Yes—during the day, he was nothing but a blind, powerless failure. But at night?
At night… his vision was a hundred times sharper than the average person's.
Right now, he could clearly see the entire village—and even beyond its borders.
Wait… what's that?!
Just as Ranmo was admiring the nighttime scenery—
A giant beast appeared inside the village.
The Nine-Tails.
And standing beside the Tailed Beast… was a masked man.
Uchiha Obito?!
