Yakumo came out of a room with a red face, Kuraiya however turned away and tapped the table, "grab this stuff here, go to the newly formed book store I opened in the land of Iron, don't worry I have everything you need, the person you'll meet is quite easy to get along with..".
Over the past few months, the Land of Iron had rebuilt the place, under the fake new heroes name 'Mammon City' he had renamed the place after his own name, Kuraiya after finding out, immediately went to find Hikari to send some people to make some money there.
After doing so, most businesses in the City are now under Hikari's name, most of the buildings their have also copied the Mist village structures, but more advanced and even having wide roads, 'cough they're the same as the ones in dragon ball, for those that have not seen the Mist village before'.
The technology their has also increased rapidly, Kuraiya had even secretly gone there himself, right in the middle of the City, Mr Mammon's statue was placed in full gold.
Kuraiya after seeing it, almost went into his bandit nature in trying to steal it away, but he gave up on the idea pretty quickly, after all where the hell is he gonna put it, it was too large.
Yakumo gazed at the table and frowned, "where exactly will I be going?", Kuraiya scratched his cheek and replied after thinking about it, "you'll be guided by a person outside of the city, don't worry, like I said, I'll be the one to take you there, so you're basically saving a two week trip".
[That's not what I was asking, he's clearly trying to throw me away, is he scared I'll attack him in his sleep or something.]
Kuraiya's eyes kept fluttering as he gazed at Yakumo's rapidly changing expression.
"What?, don't you want to be a famous woman, everyone is going to look up to you after these are released", he pulled out a weird looking book with a woman having an ahegao face on it's cover.
He coughed and spoke lightly, "ahem, can you pass this on to your guider, that woman is rather interested in these things", Yakumo gazed at it for a moment, her face flushing after reading it's title.
Kuraiya placed it next to the other stuff, and waved her over to his side, "before we go, place them into a scroll, and this one, just keep hold of it for me".
Yakumo kept blinking her eyes and she walked over, quickly put away the books and stared at the last one, she was too hold.
"Why don't you just give it the person yourself?", "I don't know, she would always hide whenever she sees me, it doesn't matter, you'll see it for yourself soon".
Kuraiya was seen standing by the window, waiting for Yakumo to finish with her packing.
Turning to see if she was finished, he saw her standing in front of her last painting, depicting something he wanted to destroy.
"You ready?", "mm", he stood and walked to the door waiting again, watching her walk past him, he stared at the painting before following behind.
"Seriously, I'm gonna ask Kurenai to destroy this later", "no!, it's my gift to her, so let her have it", Kuraiya felt his blood pressure rising, but he decided to ignore it and he picked her up then flew off to Mammon City.
Some time later, they arrived at their designated location, hidden within a small forest, he landed and put Yakumo down, staring at a tree, he simply shook his head and left.
Yakumo just watched him disappear, turning around, she saw a woman with blue hair stepping out and walking towards her.
"Do you have what I've been seeking for?", stopping a few steps away with her arms crossed, she gazed at Yakumo with her head slightly lifted upward.
"Ah, is it this", Guren's eyes shown like stars and her body flickered towards the book and vanished behind a tree.
Yakumo could've sworn she could hear the woman behind it, "umm, are you the one that likes Obedience Aphro..".
Guren reappeared and covered up her mouth as she surveyed her surroundings, "there's no need to speak any further, this way".
She immediately started pulling her along, leaving no chance for any more speeches.
Kuraiya didn't fully leave, he was moving so fast it appeared he had already gone, "I knew it, it wasn't for research, it was because you actually enjoy that stuff".
Shaking his head, he left for real this time.
Returning home, he found Shizuka and decided to go and lie down beside her, "I'm tired, let me rest here for a bit".
Shizuka lifted up the quilt on the couch and he was gone from everyone's sight, hidden within another woman's embrace.
Staring at the slightly small bump under the covers, Shizuka just stared blankly, before shaking her head with a bemused smile.
Her mind went back to the time she was taken away by her master at a young age, as she gazed at the small bump.
.
Shizuka's past.
.
Shizuka at the age of 4, was wondering a street within Ouza island, satiated in-between the Land of Tea and the Land of Water.
As an orphan, she was just about scraping by, just as any other person who had no one else to look after a young person, alone at such an age only fortified her to be wary of other's at such a young age.
Just as she was going through her daily basis bin dumping like the other's around her, one of them in their spite pushed her aside and took the food from her.
Falling to the ground and feeling angered about her food being taken, she shot up and kicked the person in the nuts, his face contorted in pure agony and he passed out on the spot, twitching on the ground.
When she picked up the food from the boy's hand, she heard clapping in the distance behind her, "not bad, you show promise kid, that attitude is what I'm searching for".
Shizuka narrowed her eyes on the unknown individual, firmly grasping the food and the woman just smiled seeing it.
"How about this, if you come with me, I'll make sure you have everything you've ever wanted..", she walked over confidently and Shizuka had a good look at the person.
Short brown hair and blue eyes while wearing a red dress, with slight wrinkles on her face, she had her arms crossed as she gazed at the other kids, but her eyes soon stayed locked onto Shizuka.
"Of course, there's a price for this, but you'll still have what most will dream of", Shizuka was still guarded against this unknown person, still gazing at her with weariness.
'sigh', "how about this, if what you see doesn't interest you, you can always refuse after and come back here, how about it?", Shizuka looked around and saw the other's looking at her with a hint of envy, scorn and jealousy, so after seeing this, she slowly nodded to the woman before her.
The woman smiled after seeing the nod, she walked over and knelt down, "that's good, by the way, call me Mio Nadeshiko, what's yours..".
Seeing her so silent, Mio was already thinking of a name for her, it wasn't long until she finally spoke.
"I.., I don't have one", Mio's eyes widened for a moment, then she nodded, "very well, if that's the case, why don't I give you a name".
Unexpectedly, She found herself on Moi's shoulder, looking down into Mio's eyes, she slowly nodded, Mio smiled gently and she turned and left, "I'll call you Shizuka, it means quiet".
Mio seeing the girl nodding to the new name, smiled again.
After seeing everything Mio had shown her, Shizuka was already in agreement, though she didn't show anything on her face as to save herself from feeling belittled.
But she still had a good time, "so.., are you willing Shizuka?", Mio patiently waited for the reply, only to hear Shizuka ask her question of her own.
"If.., if I do accept, what.., what's the price?", Mio patiently sat down and took a deep breath in, then began to tell her about Nadeshiko traditions and what the next generation is to do.
Shizuka was obviously deeply shocked by the news about kidnapping men, because the women in the village can only give birth to women and send the boy's into the very place she was.
Furrowing her brows, she couldn't help but ask another question, "can the women leave if it's a boy, or are they strictly not allowed to leave".
Mio set her hands on her knees as she knelt before Shizuka and she said seriously, "Shizuka, you shouldn't ask about this yet, not until you've fully understood why our village does such things.., if you accept, you'll gradually know more as you grow older".
Shizuka, even though she was young, understood after hearing this, [that's so cruel, you pull parents from their children.]
Mio seeing the conflict showing on Shizuka's face, could only relent inwardly, "I'm sorry, if that upsets you, you can go ba..", Shizuka instantly replied not allowing her to finish, in a loud voice.
"I accept!", Mio was stunned, she stood up quickly and her face was filled with disbelief, "you accept?..", 'sigh', "alright, then, from today on, I'll personally train you, remember this Shizuka, don't you ever show any dissatisfaction with how I teach or the others teach you, it's for your own good".
"I.. I understand", from that moment on, she trained diligently, not showing any anger for being beaten in matches or training.
When she reached 12, she was undertaking classes on how the village works and it's reason for their kidnapping and throwing boy's out of the village.
Shizuka sitting with the other young ladies, showed a weird frown, as she stared at Tokiwa teaching them, "long ago, our formers formed this village after finding out their husband had multiple wives, they fought eachother, wrecking havoc across this entire island..".
Shizuka couldn't help but speak at this moment, "but Teacher Tokiwa, aren't daimyo's like this, no one says anything about that".
"Good question Shizuka, but he wasn't a Daimyo, nor had he any Daimyo blood, he was just an ordinary civilian farmer, yet he had married each clans princesses, without each one knowing about one another..".
Shizuka had a feeling of where this was going, so she didn't speak about anything else.
"as I was saying, Daimyo have the right to take as many wives as they want, no one complains about this, after all, they pay for our food, they pay for farmers to put food on your tables..".
"But.., what happens when an ordinary civilian farmer goes and does this..", a girl beside Shizuka spoke up while grating her teeth together, "because he has nothing, no power, no money, no people under him, such a person must be a scumbag desperate for money and that person's influence for themselves".
Tokiwa raised her eyebrows and she nodded, "that's right, he did exactly what you said, he didn't care about their well-being, he didn't care about their lives, he cared only for controlling this island through their clans power..".
"And he almost succeeded, but one of the princesses was lucky to be with a Daimyo's descendant on a important mission and he told her of his crimes, and thus it allowed her to contact these other women".
Pausing for moment, she sighed and sat down taking a few gulps of water, "after they gathered together, they also found out he had done the exact same thing with each one of them, using the same tactics to get them through his own certain means..".
"As you know, a woman's heart is easily tamed with sweet words and a little comfort during the hell we live in on a daily basis, so let's skip a few days of their talks, they eventually came to the same conclusion..".
Standing back up, she pulled out an old piece of paper and they saw what was written on it, 'let them kill eachother'.
"What does this mean?", asked another young lady, Tokiwa put it back down and smiled, "this was that man's plan, he wanted this entire island to himself, he didn't want anyone else here, he wanted to be it's sole ruler..".
"Such scum!", "yes, most people are ambitious, some are even more crazy, especially the Uchiha, I've heard many rumors that this clan are bunch of mad men, with only power on their minds and they don't care how many people they kill to achieve it..".
A young girl couldn't help but mutter to herself, "naturally evil Uchiha", Tokiwa seeing everyone attention was entirely on the Uchiha now, quickly shifted back onto topic.
"Ahem, after our founders found out that their husband didn't have any love for them, they went completely crazy, they went straight to his farm, they fought, after all, this farmer was actually working with people from the water country..".
"These ordinary people stood no chance of course, so they were quickly dealt with, they asked him if he ever truly loved them, his reply...".
"What?, what did he say!", Shizuka was about to hit the girl, however Tokiwa quickly spoke, after seeing it, "he said, he only ever wanted money, they were just his rewards after claiming the island for himself..".
Shizuka clenched her fists tightly as she listened, [scum, such scum.], Tokiwa came over to the young ladies and patted their heads, "do you know what they did after that?".
"Go on, tell us","they locked him up, they couldn't bear to kill him after all he did, but they had other methods, this island's Daimyo was a descendant of the great Senju clan, though his strength was small, he was stronger than everyone else on the island..".
She paused and turned around to face Shizuka, "they challenged him, if they lost against him, they would take him as their husband and if he lost, they would fully be his weapons, his tools for war..".
She smiled and continued, "they lost, he stood against five women alone, many years later, that farmer watched as his previous wives gave birth one after another, he watched as the clans he tried to tear apart, become a whole big family..".
"Many years later, one of the offspring from this clan, tried to take full control over it, like I said before, everyone is ambitious, this man tried to bring the entire clan under his wing, it naturally caused dissatisfaction from the others, after all, they were family..".
"But that person didn't care, he wanted strength, above unity, he tried to tear apart that peace, fighting occurred, many were lossed, only the women remained, from that day on, our formers made a pact, from that day on, no man shall stay in this village, no boy shall stay with their mother..".
(Brainwashing at it's finest)
Shizuka just stayed quiet, she believed that was the one thing, she still couldn't accept.
Tokiwa naturally saw it, but she said nothing about it while the others were here, "that's it for today everyone, go home and train well".
Just as everyone left, Tokiwa suddenly spoke, "Shizuka, I see you still don't like the idea of parting, you must know, since you're to lead these girl's one day, you must set an example for them".
Shizuka clenched her fists tightly and nodded, [I.., I don't know what I'll do if I ever had a boy, I'd probably.], she shook her head and left trying not to think about it.
Tokiwa seeing her leaving quickly added, "if you ever find a man so strong, that he can change a person's destiny, you'll naturally have..".
"You don't have to tell me, I'll make my decision for when that time comes".
Two years later, she met a merchant, fell in love and watched as her own people killed him for selling their information to certain individuals.
Since then, she had focused everything on strength alone, six years later, as she was in a forest alone and training, she heard a sudden voice in her head.
She thought nothing of it, just thinking she was going crazy from excessive training, a day later as she continued to train, she felt a sudden shiver.
Turning around, she saw nothing, but the moment she looked up and saw that ferocious expression reminiscent to that of a beast in the sky, it made her body go stiff, so stiff that she felt like a mannequin, but she still managed to ask him who he was.
Shizuka quickly woke up from this feeling, when she saw him slam into the ground, like the ground was just his cushion to accept his brilliance, she had no idea that she fell to her knees, like she was revering him.
"Who the hell is this, some sort of hidden monster", muttering to herself, she heard him instantly reply to her as if she spoke loud enough for him to hear, "a monster, no, I'm here for a reason that is difficult to discuss".
Slowly standing up, she asked him in a trembling voice, "what? And what is that".
After hearing his answer and seeing his expression getting more ferocious, she decided not to fight this terrifying person, but to run instead.
She had a feeling, if she did fight, it would end instantly, suddenly she felt her movement pause, like she was grounded into the ground unable to move.
