Recap – Chapter 34: "We Went on a Ferris Wheel Date and Accidentally Confessed… in the Wrong Direction"
What began as a peaceful class outing to the amusement park quickly devolved into one of Kazuki's worst nightmares: getting trapped in a Ferris wheel gondola with Ayaka (his terrifyingly athletic stepsister with rage issues and soft spot for him) and Mirelle (an emotionally suppressed ice princess who occasionally threatens to stab feelings out of people).
At first, the ride was awkward silence, side-eye glances, and shared popcorn. But halfway to the top, things took a turn when both girls unexpectedly let down their emotional defenses.
Ayaka, red-faced and nervous, confessed something suspiciously close to affection, mumbling about "maybe not hating his face today." Mirelle, meanwhile, simply muttered, "If you die, I'd be annoyed," which, for her, was practically a Shakespearean love poem.
