The device that was near the mouth of the headmaster seemed like a circular object with holes everywhere, and it seems those holes were speakers of the circular object and more like a mic.
The center stage in middle of the colosseum is a circular checkered platform and some checkers were marked by a symbol of a cross. The colosseum was struck silent when the headmaster arrived at the center of the stage and followed by an old man with long beard, every student of the first year was eager to what is this all about and Nate was also eager to know what this is about and Maria with utmost sincerity and the very shy Tricia projected the same image of a girl who is listening with her ears wide open.
And at last, after ten minutes of the students summoning the headmaster begin to move from the center of the stage and a staff member of the school brought something with a cloth covered over it's body by a troller and set it in the same place where the headmaster was stood before, and when the staff member placed the trolly in it's place, he stride off the stage very quickly, and the headmaster and the old man came near the trolly and headmaster opened his mouth to speak, "welcome" and this made everyone to jeer their backs straight, "i, Novoleus julius padmoreus, the headmaster of the school of the pearls, humbly welcome all the first years to the greatest event of the school" and there was a pause and headmaster continued "The weapon awarding ceremony".
At the disclosure of the name of the event, murmur broke the silence of the student body, everyone was now very confused about what is all this and Nate and his friends heard some students comment on this from the back, "did he now just said, weapons?" said one boy at the row above from the Nate and his friends, and some other said "is this the big event, the seniors are talking about?".
Hearing all the commotion, the headmaster cleared his throat, and the sounds was increased to cease the murmur that was going on about in the colosseum, the circular object was responsible for the volume conditions the voice it was receiving from the source, and the headmaster continued, "i know, what you all are thinking right now, weapon!" another pause, "a ceremony to award weapons, and not medals for the model students?" another pause, "and to answer all those questions.." and then the headmaster unveiled the cloth that was covering something on the trolly and when headmaster attempted to unveil the cloth, every student peered forward to see what that object was.
By the sight of the object that was just revealed by headmaster, every student who jeered forward to see what that object was, now they all jeered backward at the sight of the object that was just revealed, the object that was on the trolly is a old, shabby looking, and squared shaped, just like an oven, and i color of white with little rust on it, and seeing this Tom said "what is that thing?" and then, the very shy Tricia said "it looks like a bread toaster" and then Nate looked at this bun.
The headmaster inserted a small rectangular shaped thing into the toaster looking object and then suddenly, a small globe of golden light zoomed out of the toaster looking object and the small golden light globe was floating in the sky and everyone stared at the golden light and at once the golden light was shaped into a large rectangular golden screen, and everyone gasped at the transformation of the small globe to a big screen and everyone stared at the screen and all they can see is some static of white and black dots moving and then there is sound from the screen, and it was the sounded of setting something in it's place and then finally there came a picture of a man standing in the great hall of golden illuminating hall and then at once all three, Tom, Maria, and the very shy Tricia and every student except Nate recognized the person that was standing in the hall and Maria said at once, "he is disciple PETER".
"disciple?" asked a student who was sitting back of Maria, and without turning backwards to answer the question, she continued, "the twelve figures in the entrance of every building we see everyday and the central figure was that man" and she pointed her index finger towards the man that was standing in the screen, and she continued again "he was the leader of the twelve disciples of the Elder and he was closest to the Elder and the most respected in the twelve, and to think we would see in person of the twelve with our own eyes, just what is this all about?".
Nate observed that, now there are more checkers marked on the stage and he slightly narrowed his eyes, earlier from the starting point of his summons, he is feeling that something was calling him, his power DARKNESS, was being picked up by something, and there is this constant voice inside his head, someone is calling him, and darkness was oozing out of him and it was leaking when Nate didn't noticed, and he was smiling about this, and inside his mind he is talking to himself, "who are you?", "what do you want?", "why do you keep calling me?".
And finally the man in the screen was starting to speak.
Professor Mary was watching all this in the area that was given to the faculties by the school and she was speaking over another circular object that was floating around her mouth, she was giving some sort of instructions through it and it was for the security squad, who were gliding in the sky and covering all the directions of the colosseum.
