Nate and Maria took all their morning classes and in their second class First Hand Medicine : year one, they got announced that they have write an essay on The thousand ways to survive in case of death and in their third class, they are instructed to form a group of three and work on a solution on how to come out of the event horizon of a black hole and different types of it (they only asked to submit a theory with a math on it to prove their theory and it's just a grade level work that the school is tasking them to do).
The subject that are assigned to the first years to take are:
1.) Machine assistance
2.) First hand Medicine: year one
3.) Quadrants and Navigation
4.) Starts and different types of light
5.) Navigation and Math
6.) space combat: year one: Introduction to gliding,
these are the subject that are given to the students of first year by the school, each class will teach the students many things apart from a text from a book.
Nate and Maria accompanied by two other classmates, the first one is a boy named Thomas Gold and the other is a girl named Tricia Tanaka and they all are going to the dining hall for the afternoon lunch and on the way everyone closed they ears with their two index fingers of their both hands, because Nate was mumbling something on the way and everyone knew what he was mumbling about and it was, which platter of lunch he has to choose for the lunch!, this issue of Nate made him to work up the courage to his is second period professor, professor Marks and he was very friendly with the students of his class and always gives them the work they can do very easily, but the professor just laughed at the proposal Nate had put on his table and he said "i guess i know what kind of work i need to give to the [four of you]".
"why did you include our names in that silly proposal of yours, Nate?".
Nate gasped very hard that made the other students who are walking sideways glanced at him and he said "silly proposal!" and he eyed Tom and continued "silly proposal, do you even listen what you are saying, Tom?" and Tom replied "yes, and in fact the very shy typed Tricia who even thinks about the expressions she show on her face and thinks what others would think of her, if she blinked too much of her eyes had an expression of very confusion and silliness on her face!" stated Tom and listen all this Nate made another big gasp and which also made the students that are passing by to look at him.
"Maria, tell Tom, that my proposal of the different types of lunch platters is a big mistake and the school needs to take this seriously", but Maria did not listen to a single word Nate had just said and she is looking straight ahead of her and stopped walking and Nate just bumped into her while arguing with Tom, and Tom glanced at Maria and called "Maria?" and she didn't respond and the very shy Tricia called out to Maria and then she looked at her and she asked "is everything all right?".
And finally Maria spoke with a stutter in her voice and said "d-d-don't y-you see what is happening around us?" and all three of them rotated their head with eyes in a level to see the head of the passerby and all three said in a unison "we don't see anything abnormal" and then Maria catching that all three of them are watching their heads, she said lower your eyes and all three of them rotated their heads with their eyes lowered and then all three of them widened their eyes in complete shock and at the same time, and that time is correctly one in the afternoon, their wrist bands chimed and a small screen popped into air and displayed ALL FIRST YEARS ARE HEARBY ASKED TO COME TO THE NEWLY OPENED COMBATGROUNDS THAT IS BACK SIDE OF THE MAIN HALL.
"what the..., then what about our lunch? and all three of them glanced at Nate and even the shy type Tricia and then another screen popped into the air and said, IN THE LIGHT OF SUDDEN ANNOUNCEMENT AND KEEPING IN MIND THAT SOME OF THE STUDENTS ARE YET TO COMPLETE THEIR LUCH, THERE WILL BE HANDED A PAIR OF BUNS AND A WATER BOTTLE AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE GROUND GATES, and with that the popped screen just dissolved in to the wrist band.
And without giving enough time to process the sudden announcement, there came another, this time it was not a screen message but a loud one from the speakers in the school and it sounded thus, SECURITY SQUAD, PLEASE GET INTO YOUR POSITION AND PLEASE AWAIT FOR THE FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, when heard this, Nate had recognized this voice, this voice belonged to Professor Mary, and then suddenly without of nowhere, there raised eight figures in to air like a darkness took a form of something and not until late that they realized that these creatures of the dark are nothing but eight human figures gliding in the air above the combat grounds with a white robes covering their entire body and a white cloth that covered their head and the space left that cloth is that for their eyes to see, every person in the group of eight were strongly built and they are gliding on a gliding and positioning themselves opposite to the grounds and they looked like they are about to do something with their hands.
Nate and his friends observed that they all the first years are rushing towards that combat grounds and then then all four of them pressed a button which is below their bags and in a instant all four bags were hoovering in the air, and all in unison clicked the button DORMS in their wrist bands and that made their bags glide in the sky in a same direction and all too rushed in the direction of the combat grounds.
the combat grounds is a large circular and highest building structure in the school and it was the biggest colosseum on the planet and they reached the entrance and it is in their eye sight and on the way Nate commented "it would be very nice, if were flying our hoover boards and not walking" and Tom agreed to it too and, the very shy Tricia, but Maria started to say something on the matter and then Nate and Tom said in unison "according to the rules of the school for the students, no first year student should not ride any type of gliding mechanism" and the very shy Tricia nodded in agreement to the boys unison comment.
They reached the entrance and saw the distributions of buns and water bottles and then all four of them got their buns and water bottles and Nate was last to take his bun and water bottle in the line, but he was stopped by the person who is distributing the buns and water and handed over another bun packet to him and Nate was confused by this, he only on bun for a student, and it was only correct to take on bun, because one was enough to fill the person, because it was made by the specialists of foods, by the school and then she said "valarie said to give to an extra bun to you Nate" and when he was about to say thanks to the person who gave him the bun, Maria said "come on, Nate, we are going to be late" and then the person who is handing the buns, said " you need go, you should not miss is big day" and when she said big day, Nate's and Tom's curiosity reached peak of their brains and they are discussing on the way of crossing the entrance about this and Nate already started eating the bun he was handed too.
And when all three entered the grounds, they all opened their mouths in unison and Nate opened his mouth when he swallowed his mouthful of bun, the grandness of dome and all the rows of seating reached the sky and faculty of the school are moving without stopping even for a second and working to put something on the enter stage, the stage was a circular checker boulder and then Maria said "there! we can sit there" and she pointed to a free spot in steps and it was 115'th step and that perfect spot for them to see the stage, the faces of the stage were not clear, but that problem was solved by the screens on the grounds.
And then everything went to silence when someone walked on to the center of the stage and the screens were on, and they can now see who it is walked to the stage and it was headmaster of the school and then with him there came an old man with long black cloak and with a long long hair that was loosen freely and then there came a small circular object gliding in air and it positioned itself near the mouth of the headmaster's mouth and the headmaster was about to speak.
