"Sounds like a rather good plan, Rupert." Cameron admitted as she leaned forward on her desk, Rupert felt a shiver down his spine as she said his name, he cleared his throat and nodded. "Thank you, Madame Starling." Rupert replied as he was looking away, Albert smirked at his friend's situation before he rose up from his seat. "Shall we go there, gentlemen?" Albert asked as he fixed his suit coat before Cameron chuckled before she stood up, She grabbed her coat and hat. Rupert followed up before these three left together.
Albert called some police officers to follow them before he got into the car alongside Cameron and Rupert before the drivers took them to the location that was written in the letters, Cameron was inspecting the letter while having some files on her lap. "Well it seems that Elvoy has been missing for a bit..?" She murmured as she was checking a file before she leaned forward showing it to Albert who was sitting on the front seat.
"Huh? What do you mean??" Albert turned to look at her as she showed him the document, He took it from her hand. "Mathew Anderson said it came in this morning, it appears she has been missing for like two days now and her working place at some newspaper called 'Azucena news', it appears her mother called there and none knew where she went after she disappeared on 12th of November." Cameron stated as she pointed her finger at the date of disappearance on the report. Rupert leaned forward and looked on the other side of Albert's head. "So she disappeared then why did she send us this letter…?" Rupert asked calmly before Cameron thought before she responded. "Because I think she isn't the one who sent it, someone sent it instead because I noticed the handwriting that wrote her name was quite different from the handwriting that wrote the whole letter." She pointed at both handwriting.
Both men were surprised when they noticed the small thing that Cameron noticed and they didn't. "Ha…I didn't even notice that…" Albert murmured before Rupert responded. "Same here…Both handwriting are quite similar…" They were inspecting the letters before the handwriting seemed quite similar but there was something different in it as if it's not a woman's handwriting more like a man's handwriting.
15th of November 1925, 4:14 p.m., Clarabel St. Chelsea, United Kingdom.
They arrived at the abandoned building that was stated in the letter, the three of them got out of the car, Cameron looked around as she had a weird feeling about it before she looked at both men who were with her. "Shall we enter?" Cameron asked as she had both hands on either side of her sides while standing there before the three of them entered the abandoned building carefully. The place was eerily quiet and dark in the middle of the day.
They all brought their wands out to light their way as they entered the building. They found bibles, weird writings on the walls and…quite eerily a lot of blood as if they dragged a dead body, the three of them followed the trail of the blood before they found the upper half of the decomposed body of the journalist Elvoy. her neck slit open, her eyes are wide open as if she saw a horrific scene. Just laying there was her bottom half of her body was nowhere to be seen or found around them,
Albert and Rupert were slightly disgusted by what they saw of the decomposed body in front of them, meanwhile Cameron wasn't disgusted nor affected by the disgusting scene in front of them, Although she was quite confused about how her body was separated in such a way as if someone or something ate her lower half. "I think I'm going to be sick…" Rupert whispered to his friend who replied. "Same here…" Albert was quite disgusted by the scene and the terrible smell. Cameron was looking around before she saw a pair of legs by the hallway before something quickly dragged it leaving blood trailing behind the thing or person who took the journalist's lower body.
Cameron was startled as she took a step back. "Did you two see that..?" She asked in a lower tone before the men looked at the startled woman. "Saw what??" Albert asked her with confusion before he saw the trail of blood that led to the hallway. "Dear lord…" Albert murmured meanwhile the other scared man got his cross out and did the motion of the cross as he was praying in Spanish as he was standing behind his friend. "What should we do??" Cameron asked quietly as she was standing there before she looked at the men.
"We have to explore this,we can't just stand there being scared, come on…" Cameron motioned for them to follow her as both men hesitated before they started to follow her, she followed the blood trail that was left by the other lower half of the dead journalist body.
While the three of them calmly, a loud screech was heard from the end of the hallway, they were prepared with their wands as a ten feet tall monster that stands on two legs, but its posture is hunched and inhuman, with a spine visibly warped beneath its tattered robes. Its head is a nightmare: the lower half is a jaw of sharp, jagged teeth, perpetually agape in a silent, blood-curdling snarl. The upper half is the face of a skeletal, plague-ridden priest, with empty, hollow eye sockets that stare out from under a rotting cowl.
They all stood in silence as that monster was eating the lower half of the dead journalist's body, the monster quietly looked at them as they all stood in silence and their eyes opened in surprise before the monster screeched loudly and started running at them. "Run!!!" Albert yelled as they all started running the opposite side of the hallway, they took a sharp right turn which made the monster crash into the wall, slowing down before they managed to hide away in a room and locked the door to the hallway where they lost the monster.
"Wh…what the fuck is that!?" Rupert panted as he stood there while looking at the door before he looked at both Albert and Cameron. "I…I don't know…" Cameron replied as she was unsure of what the creature was, Albert was trying to catch his breath a bit before he looked at them. "Whatever is that creature we have to stop it immediately…" Albert added before a screech could be heard from behind the door then suddenly the monster started to break the door. They all backed a little trying to find a way out.
They found a door on the opposite side of the room, as both men ran to the door. Cameron swung her wand and casted. "ictus stellaris!!" She casted the spell which made a border to stop the monster. "Cameron!! Come on!!" Albert yelled as he had the door open, Cameron started running the moment the monster broke in and was stopped by the border she made before the three of them started running to lose the monster.
"Rupert!! Yer bloody bastard!! This is the worst idea you could ever have in your entire life!!!" Cameron and Albert yelled while running.
"It's not my fault you two liked the bloody idea!!!" Rupert responded as he was running with them before they found an empty room and hid in it quietly, Both Albert and Rupert were panting heavily from the running before Albert coughed a bit. "Bloody hell…I should really stop smoking these days…" Albert coughed as he was standing there next to his friend who looked at him. "Yer think?!" Rupert responded under his breath as he was panting a little while Cameron was watching out for the monster.
"Stop bickering like young children for Devika's sake" Cameron hissed as Rupert looked at her. "Don't you ever get exhausted from running in these heels…?" He asked the question before Albert had his hand in a fist and swung it at the back of Rupert's head.
"Ow!!" "That's not the time for this, dumbass!!" Albert glared at his friend who rubbed the back of his head in pain before Albert looked at Cameron. "What should we do now?" He asked as Cameron thought for a bit before she pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.
"Let me think for a bit…" Cameron whispered as she was thinking for a solution before Rupert looked around and found some desks laying around. "Why don't we barricade the door with these desks to gain extra time so we could escape from the other door?" Rupert pointed at the desks, Albert and Cameron looked at them. "Good idea.." They spoke at once as Albert and Rupert managed to move the desks to barricade the door before Cameron cast the same spell from before.
Albert sighed as he finished helping Rupert. "Now that we got that out of hand, shall we go?" Albert motioned before they walked calmly towards the door. "That was a good idea if I have to be honest" Cameron added as she grabbed the door and opened the door, the ten feet tall monster was standing there, its gaze focused on Cameron who looked slowly up at the monster and before she reacted it snapped its jaws closed around her neck, She tried to free herself. "Cameron!!" Albert yelled as he pulled out his wand and casted a spell. "bhíoma tine!!" as fire came out of the wand at the monster which it didn't do anything to it as it started to aggressively shake Cameron's body to make it stop moving.
Rupert swung his wand at the monster. "estallido de toro trueno!!" an electrical spell came out of his wand which also didn't do anything to the monster as they both didn't know what to do before all of the sudden the monster snapped its teeth into Cameron's neck and suddenly her body stopped moving, Both men stood there in horror unable to do anything before the monster aggressively shook Cameron's body making it decapitated from its head and landed on the floor before the monster took the head and ran off somewhere.
