After sunlight hit the island and the Kame House, Roshi decided it was time to begin serious training for Goku and Krilin. To accommodate their training needs, he moved the entire house to a much larger island. They loaded the Kame House onto a boat and traveled across the ocean. Once they arrived, they placed the house on solid ground and decided to start training before dinner.
Lunch took charge of preparing their meal, while Goku and Krilin gathered around Roshi to begin their assessment.
"You both know the basics of martial arts," Roshi said, stroking his beard thoughtfully, "but to properly gauge your abilities, I want you to run a hundred meters so I can time you."
Krilin stepped forward confidently, eager to show off. "I'll go first, Master!"
Roshi positioned himself with a stopwatch. "Ready... go!"
Krilin took off at full speed, his short legs pumping furiously as he crossed the distance. When he crossed the finish line, Roshi clicked the stopwatch and examined it with raised eyebrows.
"Ten point four seconds. Very impressive!"
Krilin beamed with pride, crossing his arms with a smug expression. "My personal best is actually ten flat, but not bad for a warm-up!"
Goku watched this exchange with a somewhat baffled expression, not quite understanding what was supposed to be impressive about that time.
"Goku, it's your turn," Roshi announced.
Goku twitched slightly at being called out. Krilin noticed the reaction and grinned. "I guess he's just intimidated by my performance!"
Roshi observed Goku getting into position and mumbled to himself, "Now let's see if this kid is what I expected him to be."
Goku dropped down into an unusual starting position—one knee down, the other foot positioned on his toes, both hands planted firmly on the ground. He looked like a jaguar about to pounce on its prey, every muscle coiled and ready.
"Ready... go!"
The moment Goku heard the signal, he exploded forward. His calf muscles flexed powerfully as he pushed off his toes, then his thighs became hard as rock as they drove him forward. In an instant, he completely disappeared from their sight, leaving behind only a powerful gust of wind and cracked earth where his feet had been.
Roshi and Krilin stood frozen, staring at the starting line where Goku had been just a fraction of a second ago. They hadn't even seen him pass by.
Goku was already standing casually next to the tree that marked the finish line, hands in his pockets. He looked back at Roshi with a slightly disappointed expression and muttered to himself, "He couldn't even follow my speed... What exactly is he going to teach me?"
When Roshi and Krilin finally turned around and spotted him by the tree, Krilin's jaw literally dropped to the ground.
Roshi was completely speechless, his eyes wide with disbelief.
Krilin approached Goku with his mouth still hanging open. "What kind of training did you follow?!" he asked, both impressed and shocked.
Roshi thought to himself, "Even Son Gohan wasn't that strong... he couldn't have made you stronger than him."
Indeed, this reincarnated version of Goku was far, far stronger than the original had ever been at this age. He might have a child's body, but his mind belonged to an adult—and not just any adult, but someone from the elite class who understood efficiency and methodology.
During those thirteen years of training, his adult consciousness had pushed his regimen to be harsher and more systematic, maximizing effectiveness and pushing his limits in ways the original Goku never could have conceived. The result was what stood before them now.
But was superior training methodology the only factor in his incredible strength?
Later that night, Goku sat alone on the porch, gazing up at the star-filled sky while the others were inside eating dinner. He was deep in thought.
"He said training starts tomorrow," Goku mused to himself. "I'll see if it's useless for me. If it is, I'm bailing out of here."
While Goku contemplated his future, a loud sneeze echoed from inside the house, followed immediately by the distinctive rat-tat-tat of automatic gunfire. Roshi and Krilin came bursting out of the house at full speed, with blonde Lunch in hot pursuit, weapon in hand.
Tired of the chaos, Goku entered the house and began searching for a room to sleep in. He found one with a comfortable-looking bed and simply jumped on it, falling asleep almost instantly.
A little while later, blonde Lunch returned to the house and made her way to the same room. She approached the bed and pulled back the blanket, revealing Goku sleeping peacefully underneath.
Her first instinct was violent—she pulled out her gun and aimed it directly at his head, ready to eliminate this potential threat. But she hesitated, studying his face in the moonlight.
When Goku was awake, he always had that look of a confident, smug man who thought he owned the world. But when he slept, his expression was completely different—innocent and vulnerable, almost childlike. It was a face that made you want to protect him rather than harm him.
Conflicted by these unfamiliar feelings, she clicked her tongue in frustration. "Tch!"
She lowered her weapon and began removing her clothes, stripping down to just her bra and panties before sliding into bed next to him. She lay on her right side, facing Goku's peaceful, vulnerable form. Unable to resist the strange urge, she reached over and pulled him against her chest, holding him protectively.

In the morning, Goku began to feel himself suffocating and slowly woke up. Even with his eyes open, he couldn't see anything, and his movement was severely restricted. This sensation reminded him immediately of Mai and how he used to wake up next to her.
He pushed his head back, trying to free himself from where he was stuck between Lunch's breasts. When he finally emerged, they bounced and clapped together with a soft, enticing sound right in front of his eyes.
During the night, one of Lunch's breasts had escaped from her bra, and her round, pink nipple was positioned directly in front of his face.
Goku found himself having an internal monologue: I used to wake up next to Mai like this pretty much every time... But now... why am I so worked up? Did this body finally hit puberty? And to be honest, it's been thirteen years since the last time I...
He moved slightly, and his nose accidentally grazed her nipple, causing her to let out a small, unconscious sound. He looked down and noticed that her legs were wrapped around him like a claw, trapping him in place.
His focus returned to her exposed breast in front of him. With a trembling hand, he slowly reached toward it, ready to touch it gently. His fingertip was just inches away from her perky pink nipple when—
"GOKU! TRAINING TIME!!!"
Roshi came crashing into the room without warning.
Goku didn't jump or panic. From Roshi's position by the door, Lunch's sleeping form was blocking his view of Goku, so the old master thought she was alone, sleeping in just her underwear. A big, perverted smile spread across Roshi's face as he began tiptoeing toward the bed.
When Roshi leaned over to get a better look at Lunch's front, Goku suddenly shot up like a flash and drove two fingers directly into the old man's eyes, blinding him and making him scream in pain.
Lunch woke up from the commotion, still in her blonde personality, and immediately understood the situation.
"You old pervert! Aren't you ashamed of yourself?! Trying to sneak a peek at someone sleeping!" Goku declared righteously, conveniently forgetting what he had been about to do just moments earlier.
Lunch immediately began blasting at Roshi with her weapon, chasing him out of the room.
Goku dusted his hands together with satisfaction. "Good riddance!"
He turned back toward Lunch, but couldn't help noticing that one of her breasts was still exposed outside her bra. He found himself staring unintentionally.
Lunch looked down and noticed her exposed state. Her face began to show signs of growing anger as she turned the gun toward him.
"And what exactly were YOU doing, you little pervert?!"
She began blasting at Goku as well, forcing him to dodge and flee from the room.
Goku and Krilin stood in formation in front of Roshi as he began their first formal lesson. The old master explained the philosophy behind martial arts—the good reasons and bad reasons to use them, the responsibility that came with power, and the importance of discipline.
"Well anyway, let's begin!" Roshi announced enthusiastically.
They started by running toward the nearby city. Their first stop was at a milk delivery service, where Roshi had apparently made arrangements for them to help with deliveries as part of their training. Goku and Krilin picked up crates of milk bottles and followed Roshi as he ran to every corner of the island, delivering milk to various customers.
After several grueling hours, they finally finished the route. Krilin collapsed on the ground, completely exhausted and breathing heavily. Roshi looked down at him with a mix of concern and assessment, then turned his attention to Goku, who stood with his hands behind his head, looking thoroughly disappointed.
"You didn't even break a sweat," Roshi observed. "This is nothing for you?"
Goku turned to face him with a flat expression. "Yeah... Plus, I didn't even do my routine training this morning."
"Oh? What is your usual training routine? Show me," Roshi asked, genuinely curious.
Goku nodded and walked over to a massive boulder nearby. He planted his fingers into the solid rock, creating handholds by sheer force, then gripped the boulder from underneath with his other hand.
His face turned red as he clenched his teeth, veins popping out from his head and biceps as he put every ounce of his strength into lifting the enormous stone. The boulder was still partially embedded in the soil, making it even heavier as dirt and roots clung to its base.
Krilin and Roshi watched in disbelief as Goku strained against the immense weight.
"Stop... it's impossible..." Krilin said, trying to convince him to quit.
But then he saw a giant shadow begin to cast over him. The massive rock was actually being lifted, with dirt and debris falling from its underside. Goku pulled with his planted fingers while lifting with his other hand, giving one final tremendous effort to hoist the boulder completely above his head.
His legs were bent under the enormous weight, both hands supporting the rock above him, his head tilted slightly to the side to avoid being crushed. Then, incredibly, he began doing squats with the boulder as his weight.
Roshi was absolutely stunned. It wasn't just that Goku was strong—this was something he had never seen from any human being.
"You do this every day?" Roshi asked in amazement.
Still performing squats, Goku responded between breaths, "Twenty-seven... twenty-eight... Y-yeah... th-this is the f-first th-ing I do..."
"There's more?!" Roshi exclaimed.
After completing one hundred squats, Goku bent his legs to gain maximum leverage, then used his entire body to explosively throw the boulder two or three meters away, where it landed with a tremendous crash.
"That's really impressive. What else do you do?" Roshi asked, his scientific curiosity completely overtaking his shock.
Krilin, still trying to process what he'd witnessed, walked over to the thrown boulder and attempted to push it. Only the dirt beneath his feet moved—the rock itself didn't budge even a millimeter.
"Well," Goku said, breathing hard and wiping sweat from his brow with his shirt, "I throw ki blasts until I'm completely drained, so I can build endurance. And most importantly, I train my tail." He demonstrated by moving and wiggling his tail.
"What about it?" Roshi inquired.
"This was... is my weakness. I'd become completely powerless if someone grabbed it. But through intensive training, I've almost eliminated that vulnerability," Goku explained, slowly catching his breath.
"Fascinating!" Roshi marveled.
Krilin, overhearing this, snuck up behind Goku and suddenly grabbed his tail, squeezing it tightly. Goku immediately whipped his tail forward with tremendous force, dragging Krilin along and launching him several feet away.
Goku turned back to Roshi with a serious expression. "That's why I was hesitant to come here in the first place. I had a feeling my training regimen was unnatural compared to what regular people do. Anyway, this training program won't cut it for me. I'll be taking my leave tomorrow."
He started to turn away, but Roshi's voice stopped him.
"Don't be so arrogant," the old master said sternly.
Goku stopped mid-step and turned back, visibly irritated. "Arrogant? I have every right to be! I haven't met my match in thirteen years."
He walked back and stood directly in front of Roshi, placing a rough finger on the old man's chest while staring him straight in the eyes.
"Even you, who people call legendary—I could put a hole through your chest before you could blink. So yeah, maybe I am arrogant, but it's backed up by results!"
Goku suddenly caught himself, looking down at his own hand in confusion. "What the fuck is happening to me? Why am I getting so pissed off? Is this puberty or something?"
He shook his head and stepped back. "Anyway, I'm heading home."
With that, Goku walked away, leaving Krilin and Roshi to continue their training without him.
Roshi stood there, stroking his beard thoughtfully as he watched Goku walk away. Krilin approached him with obvious concern.
"How can someone become that strong, Muten Roshi-sama?" Krilin asked earnestly.
Roshi suddenly snapped at him, clearly frustrated by the day's events. "NOT BY ASKING QUESTIONS! GO DIG HOLES WITH YOUR HANDS!!"

Meanwhile, Goku arrived back at the house, lost deep in troubled thoughts. Having those sudden bursts of emotion was completely unusual for him, and it left him feeling unsettled and confused.
Still sweaty from lifting the boulder, he headed directly for the bathroom, not paying attention to the sound of running water. He removed his clothes and entered the shower with his head down, lost in contemplation.
CRASH!
He collided directly with Lunch, and both of them tumbled into the bathtub. Lunch landed on her back while Goku fell face-first onto her wet belly.
He looked up, and the sight before him made him freeze. Her breasts were wet and shiny from the shower, with droplets of water running down their curves, reaching the tips of her nipples before falling and landing on Goku's nose.
This was blonde Lunch—her teeth were clenched and her eyebrows furrowed in anger. Goku immediately put his hands in front of his face, bracing himself to get shot full of holes.
He heard movement in the bathtub water but nothing else. Slowly, he lifted his head to look, and then suddenly felt her grabbing him and pulling him toward her, squeezing him tightly. His back was pressed against her wet belly while his head was pushed against her breasts, which cushioned him like soft pillows.
He was shocked by how quickly everything had happened, and then he heard her voice:
"Speak! What's wrong?!"
She said these words with genuine concern, though her tone remained scary and threatening.
Something about her unexpected kindness made him calm down. His eyes took on a gentle but sad expression.
"Lunch? Can I tell you my secret?" he asked quietly.
She stayed silent, waiting.
"I'm not... how do I start?" Goku struggled with the words. "I'm not from this world. And I'm not really a kid. I died in my previous world and got reincarnated as who I am now. I was killed—that's an important detail, I guess."
He paused, gathering his thoughts before continuing.
"I wasn't a good guy in my work or my personal life. I helped bad people get away with their crimes, and I turned good girls and wives crazy about me, essentially ruining their lives. And now that I'm here, I'm lost. I don't know what to do with myself, and now I'm getting drunk on my own power."
His voice became quieter, more vulnerable.
"Why did I flip out earlier? I used to be so controlled, so calculated. But now..." He shook his head. "Anyway, I shouldn't bother you with this anymore. You're a good listener, Lunch... Lunch?"
Goku lifted his head from her chest and turned to look at her. Her eyes had rolled back, and there was a visible lump on the back of her head from their fall. She was completely unconscious and had only been holding him by reflex.
"Lunch! Are you alright?!" he called out in panic.
After a moment of stunned silence, Goku carefully lifted her from the bathtub and carried her to the bedroom, laying her gently on the bed.
He stood there looking down at her unconscious form, water still dripping from both of them.
"What am I doing?" he whispered to himself, the weight of his confession—even to someone who couldn't hear it—settling heavily on his shoulders.
"...Let's go to sleep."
Carefully, he slipped under the blanket beside her. As he settled in, Lunch shifted in her sleep, murmuring something unintelligible. Instinctively, she reached out and pulled him close—her arm wrapping protectively around him like a big sister.
Surprised but too tired to react, Goku blinked once… then let his eyes close.
---
Meanwhile…
The front door creaked open.
Roshi peeked inside cautiously, followed by Krilin, who was already stretching and yawning.
"...We're back!" Krilin called into the house.
Silence.
Roshi looked left. Krilin looked right.
"...No one here?" Krilin asked.
"...No dinner," Roshi said, sniffing the air.
They stood in silence for a beat, then both slowly turned toward the kitchen.
Empty.
