After separating from the others to find Gohan's Dragon Ball, Goku traveled toward the closest one on his Dragon Radar. Following an all-night journey on Kinto'un, the first rays of morning sun hit his face as he slept on his cloud, still traveling.
The light gradually woke him up. "When did I fall asleep?" he muttered, still tired and looking around drowsily.
Kinto'un descended near a river where Goku washed his face and drank some water. He pulled out his radar to check their position. "I hope I didn't pass it while sleeping." The Dragon Ball was close—perfect.
He put his torn gi back on, the garment destroyed by Jackie's Kamehameha and now covering only his lower body. "I should stop at a city to buy new clothes... Doesn't look like there's one nearby though. And no money..."
Being so close to the Dragon Ball, Goku decided to continue without breakfast. When he arrived at the location on his cloud, he saw two men digging frantically below. Not paying much attention, he jumped off Kinto'un and went directly to the ball's location.
The men looked up, intrigued by a kid in the area wearing torn clothes. But as soon as they saw him pull out the Dragon Ball they'd been searching for days, they were shocked.
They drew guns and pointed them at Goku. "Damn, six stars. Guess I'm not gonna get lucky on the first try," Goku said disappointedly.
"Hey kid! How did you find it so easily?!" one man demanded.
"Huh?" Goku turned to them, just now noticing their presence.
"Doesn't matter! Give me that ball before I kill you!" the other one threatened.
"I have no use for it... but I guess I'm gonna keep it," Goku said to himself, completely ignoring the men threatening him.
Annoyed, one of the gunmen approached, aiming his weapon and grabbing Goku's arm. "I said give it to me!"
Goku twitched, hating being touched. He extended his right arm to make the man release him, then with lightning speed, struck him with two knuckles in the stomach, paralyzing the attacker instantly.
Goku stepped aside as the man fell to his knees, vomited, and collapsed unconscious. The other gunman fell on his backside in shock.
Goku jumped back onto Kinto'un and started toward the next destination. The remaining man scrambled to his car, grabbed a radio, and contacted someone important.
"GENERAL SILVER! I have information!" He explained everything to a red-haired, handsome man on the other end.
Wasting no time, Silver grabbed a rocket launcher and leaped from his building. Spotting Goku in the air on Kinto'un, he fired directly at him, hitting Goku's position and creating a massive explosion.
Goku was blasted down but caught himself before impact, landing on his feet without a scratch. However, his clothes were now even worse—his gi had become essentially shorts.
"Why do people always try to annoy me... This is fucking embarrassing, I have no clo—" Goku looked up to see Kinto'un evaporating. The blast had destroyed it completely.
He stared in disbelief at where his faithful cloud had been.
"I'll take the Dragon Ball and the radar," General Silver declared, removing his trench coat to reveal a muscular physique. He dashed forward, leaning low and running almost on all fours toward Goku, who was still looking up behind him.
"I'll take that bag," Silver said, reaching for Goku's belongings.
"NO MORE GAMES!" Goku shouted, clenching his teeth. With his right hand, he grabbed Silver's head and violently shoved it into the ground, creating a crater and leaving Silver's lower body in the air, his legs folded backwards.
Goku left him there—head planted in the ground, unconscious—and entered Silver's house searching for clothes. Finding nothing in his size, he discovered some capsules instead. He tried one and found a plane, but wasn't sure he could pilot it. Another capsule contained a small robot, and after negotiating with it, the robot took the controls while Goku headed toward the next Dragon Ball.
Silver was left behind, uncertain if he was alive after that impact—or at least, he'd lost his handsomeness.
Far away at a giant military base, a small figure watched monitors showing the Dragon Ball's movement. He ordered someone to contact Colonel Silver. After hours of trying, one of Silver's henchmen finally answered, reporting that Silver had a broken nose, broken jaw, and a missing eye—he couldn't continue service. He explained that someone with a superior radar and incredible strength was collecting the balls... and it was just a kid.
After hours of flying and approaching the next Dragon Ball near the mountains, it began getting extremely cold. Goku, wearing almost nothing, tried to speak to the robot.
"Y-you c-c-can stop here," he said, starting to freeze.
"I-I-I s-s-said s-s-stop!" But the robot wasn't responding until it suddenly announced, "I froze... Error..."
"W-w-what?!" The plane began losing altitude. Goku, nearly frozen, grabbed the controls and pulled—only for them to break immediately.
The plane crashed in a completely white area. Goku was ejected and nearly buried under snow, passing out from the cold.
The crash attracted soldiers wearing the same symbol as Colonel Silver. In a tower nearby, their commander declared, "It's our plane! This means the kid is here!"
Information had already spread about Goku searching for Dragon Balls, and they knew what he looked like.
Before the soldiers could locate him, a little girl wearing a warm coat and furry hat found Goku. She grabbed him by the legs and pulled him with all her strength to safety.
Goku opened his eyes, feeling warmth. In front of him, a chimney crackled with relaxing sounds. He looked down to find himself covered by a blanket.
A small voice to his right exclaimed, "Ah! Mom, he woke up!"
He turned his head to see a cute red-haired little girl in a big sweater running toward him. "Where am I?" Goku asked, still dizzy.
"Jingle Village! You were frozen solid!" the girl said happily and excitedly.
Her mother brought Goku a cup of hot beverage to help warm his body. "You carried me here?" he asked.

"Yeah! What were you doing in that place?" she asked, placing her elbows on Goku's chair, holding her head with wide-open eyes and a big smile, looking at him from inches away.
Goku glanced at her with mild annoyance. "My plane crashed. I was looking for the Dragon Ball..."
"Dragon Ball...?" she repeated, then jumped back to her mother. They clung to each other with terrified expressions. "A-are you with the Red Ribbon Army?!"
Goku denied this and asked questions about the Red Ribbon Army. They explained that soldiers had come to their village, threatening people and forcing them to search for Dragon Balls.
"And they took my father hostage to make him comply," the little girl said. Her happy, excited expression disappeared, leaving only sadness and pain.
Looking at her, Goku remembered his past life as a corrupt lawyer. He recalled a certain child whose father had been stripped of money and freedom to benefit criminals who paid more. He saw in her face that little boy who had cursed him.
Goku grabbed his chest, feeling an internal pain he couldn't understand. *It didn't hurt back then... Why now?* he thought to himself.
He raised his gaze to look at the girl's pained face, and the ache intensified. He approached her, placed both hands on her cheeks, and lifted her head to look at him.
With a confident smirk, he said, "Don't worry! Your prayers have just been answered."
The little girl, not understanding everything, blushed at the intense look Goku gave her. "Oh my!" said her mother, observing them.
"I will get rid of them," Goku declared with complete confidence.
"Wh-... WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! THEY'RE ADULTS AND THEY HAVE WEAPONS—"
She didn't finish her sentence before the door burst open. Two soldiers who had followed the trail arrived, pointing guns ready to shoot. The girl and mother didn't even have time to scream.
In a flash, Goku stepped beside the soldiers and struck one's stomach with his palm, blasting him backward and dragging the other soldier with him.
Goku turned to the girl, flexing his arms to show his biceps with a smirk. "I'm strong—don't worry!"
The girl and mother stood with mouths open, unable to believe what they'd witnessed.
Standing by the door, Goku felt the blanket fall and glacial wind hit his back. "I need some clothes," he said, trembling.
After they gave him warm clothing that could handle the cold, Goku prepared to leave. The girl and mother followed him to the door.
He turned to her. "By the way, what's your name?"
"Suno. My name is Suno," she said, still looking at him in disbelief.
"Well, Suno, I will bring your dad back." With that, Goku began running toward the tower where the hostages were held.
Suno watched him go, realizing something and starting to blush. "I hope nothing happens to him," her mother said softly.
Goku ran at full speed toward the tower. The army detected him and began shooting with weapons and tanks, hitting near him and creating huge smoke screens. But Goku emerged unscathed, ignoring everyone.
Bending his knees to gain maximum spring, he jumped toward the tower, hitting the wall with full force and breaking through. He landed on a floor full of soldiers who immediately drew their guns and began shooting.
Goku started running again, passing some soldiers who got shot by their own colleagues in the crossfire. He slid, changing direction toward one gunman, sliding under his legs and grabbing another soldier. He began spinning the man and threw him against another—the impact was devastating.
The others abandoned their guns, too dangerous with friendly fire, and took out knives to charge Goku. He began dodging every slash and thrust with ease.
He grabbed one arm that tried to stab him and bent it the wrong way, letting out a sickening crack as bones punctured through skin and stabbed into another attacker's hand. Seeing this horrible spectacle, the remaining soldiers backed up in fear.
Goku looked up, thinking the boss should be at the top—the faster he got there, the better. He raised his arms toward the ceiling, charging a ki blast ready to blow his way up.
"Fuck!" He stopped before launching it. "The hostages are here, and I don't know where they are. I don't want to kill them!"
He located the stairs and ran toward them, heading to the next floor.
There sat a giant man with a massive jaw and glasses. He looked deeply into Goku's face.
"Schwarz— ?" Immediately, the man stood up and pointed toward the stairs.
"If you want to continue upstairs, you'll have to defeat me," the massive man said in a monotonous tone.
"Are you sure?" Goku asked, just before the giant's fist came at full force toward him.
It was slow for Goku, so he leaned his upper body to let the fist graze him and hit the ground, destroying it. Goku lifted his leg and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to the face, creating a loud, metallic clang.
The impact nearly made the giant fall to the side. Goku was shocked—usually this type of hit knocked out anyone he'd fought, but not this opponent.
Still processing this, Goku reacted too late. The giant's fist was already coming from the ground, destroying tiles in its path before hitting Goku in the chest and belly.
The fist was huge compared to Goku. The impact was massive, blasting him into the ceiling, bouncing off, and sending him into the wall before he fell to the ground.
At the top of the tower, General White observed via cameras. "It's over."
Goku stood up like nothing had happened and looked at his opponent. "I think you're the most resilient fighter I've encountered."
Without a word, the giant began running toward Goku. With his momentum, he attempted a front kick. Goku, prideful, didn't dodge and flexed his muscles, ready to tank the attack.
The boot was massive. Without guarding, he waited for the hit. The impact was enormous—Goku was stuck on the boot like an insect as the giant finished his move against the wall, squashing him and breaking the bricks. Dust and debris fell everywhere.
"This kid was tough, but now Sergeant Metallic has him," White said confidently.
Metallic pulled out his leg, leaving only a cloud of dust. But his eyes lit up red, still in attack mode. He opened his mouth, and inside began to glow.
"What?! What's wrong? Why does he keep attacking?!" White exclaimed.
The dust began to dissipate, revealing Goku standing like an immovable wall, completely unscathed. From Metallic's mouth, a rocket shot toward Goku.
"What the hell?!" Goku said, deflecting the rocket with the tip of his foot and launching it into the ceiling. "So I take it you're not a living creature?"
"What IS this kid?!" White said from behind the screen.
Without warning, Metallic began running toward Goku for another attack. Before that could happen, a huge pillar of light enveloped the robot, slowly destroying his body parts and leaving only the torso.
Goku had fired a ki wave, destroying Metallic completely. Only the smoking torso remained on the ground.
As he continued running to the next floor, Goku left behind a one-liner: "You won't be back."
Goku arrived at the fourth floor where a purple ninja, Murasaki, waited for him. After five minutes, the ninja was knocked down—it wasn't much of a fight.
Goku continued his ascension, this time walking. He passed a cage marked with the number "8" and locked eyes with a huge, Frankenstein-looking figure. The being was menacing but had a gentle look about him.
Goku continued walking, ignoring him. The poor creature was large, and the cage was small... He was probably feeling alone... And now that Goku had beaten almost everyone, no one would probably feed him—
"ALRIGHT, I GET IT!" Goku shouted at no one in particular.
He came back to the cage and grabbed the bars, bending them to let the creature out. The being emerged and stood tall in front of Goku with a scary, scarred face.
"You want to fight?" Goku asked.
"No, I don't like to hurt living things," the creature replied.
After hearing that, Goku walked past him, continuing to the next floor. "You couldn't hurt me if you wanted to anyway," prideful Goku said.
The creature began following Goku like his best friend.
Goku arrived at the fourth floor to find a maze before him. Already annoyed, his hand began glowing, ready to make a straight path. But the creature stopped him.
"Wait! I know the path."
Goku remained silent and followed him. As they walked, Goku casually asked, hands behind his head, "What's your name?"
"It's Number 8," the creature responded.
"8? That's not a na—... Ok 8." Goku didn't want the conversation to drag on.
They reached the end of the maze and climbed the stairs, arriving at a door.
"This is the door to the sixth floor, where the commander is," Number 8 said after minutes of long silence.
Goku stood before the final door, ready to face whoever was holding Suno's father captive.
Goku stood before the door, hands clenched, boots planted, 8 remained behind him, looking nervous.
With a swift kick, Goku burst the door open.
"Ah... you must be the rat everyone's been talking about," Commander White said calmly, aiming a pistol at Goku's head.
Goku didn't flinch. "give me the villagers."
White smirked. "I'm afraid you're not in a position to make demands."
Before Goku could move, the floor beneath his feet gave way. A trapdoor activated with a loud CLUNK, sending Goku and Number 8 plummeting down a hidden shaft.
They landed hard in a dimly lit chamber between floors. Before they could react, a giant, round, pink-skinned monster with no neck and tiny eyes stomped out of the shadows. He had a childish grin on his face.
The monster giggled. "Playtime?"
Goku took a stance. "I've got no time for this."
He dashed forward, punching the monster square in the stomach. The beast went flying across the room—CRASH—bounced off a wall like a rubber ball, then BOING! off the ceiling, and landed… laughing.
"Did that even hurt him?" Goku muttered.
He tried again—this time a spinning kick to the face. Same result. Monster bounced around the room, crashing through pillars and slamming into the floor like a wrecking ball, but came out smiling every time. No bruises, no scratches—just joy.
"i'm not gonna lie, I like it when I have to use my brain to destroy... !" Goku said looking with a demonic glaire and big scary smile.
The monster jumped again with surprising agility, belly-flopping onto Goku. He dodged just in time, but the impact shattered the floor tiles.
"He's immune to physical damage…" Goku muttered, narrowing his eyes. "But…"
Goku stopped trying to knock the beast away and changed his approach.
With a sudden leap, he landed on the monster's chest and climbed toward his head, ignoring the beast's flailing arms.
Before the creature understood what was happening, Goku's hands shot forward—both hands forcing into his mouth, fingers digging into the corners like iron hooks.
The monster's eyes went wide. He's… trying to pry me open…
Goku began pulling, his arms bulging as the monster's jaw creaked under the pressure.
A sudden wave of panic hit the pink giant—he felt danger. A primal, bone-deep instinct told him that whatever was about to happen next could end him. He started punching Goku wildly, each strike a full-bodied, desperate blow meant to smash bones.
Nothing. Goku didn't budge an inch.
Then their eyes locked.
For the first time in his life, the monster froze—not from fear of pain, but from the expression staring back at him. It wasn't the face of a boy. It wasn't even human. It was the cold, unblinking glare of something ancient and predatory. Something that didn't see an opponent… just prey.
The beast's panic doubled. He started punching faster, hammering at Goku's sides, chest, and head in a frantic blur. Still nothing. Goku just kept prying the mouth open, inch by inch, the jaw muscles trembling as they were forced apart.
"Ggghhh… nnnghh plrrhh…! Dnnn… dnnn krrhh mrrhh!" the monster tried to speak, his voice trembling, spit flying from his mouth. His words were incoherent, but the tone was unmistakable—he was begging. Pleading for his life.
Goku's smirk widened slightly, and he pushed harder, forcing the jaw open even more.

"Mmrrhhh stpphh…! Nnn mrrhh wrrhh! Pllrrhhzz!"
8, standing in the shadows, felt his gut tighten. Even without understanding the garbled words, the meaning was clear: Please… stop… I don't want to die… please!
The pink giant's strikes slowed… then stopped. His breathing was fast, erratic, his eyes darting in pure animal terror.
Goku didn't give him a chance to recover. He shoved one glowing fist deep into the creature's throat.
"Don't talk with your mouth full, fool," Goku said coldly.
The giant's face went pale. In that moment—staring at the demon-like grin, feeling the heat of that ki building inside him. Who's the real monster here?
The ki blast roared through him, lighting up his insides in a blinding white glare before his massive frame erupted from within. Eyes bulging, cheeks puffing out. A second later, he exploded from the inside The walls shook as chunks of pink flesh hit the floor.
When the smoke cleared, Goku stood in the center of the carnage, his hair and face splattered with warm gore.
A stringy chunk of the monster's remains slowly slid down the side of his cheek and dripped from his chin.
He turned to 8.
And smiled.
"Let's continue," he said softly, his eyes gleaming with that too-wide, predator's grin.
