A carriage rode through the crowded streets of the capital city of the Valemont Kingdom, and soon came to a halt in front of a magnificent building, its towering walls standing high in the street. Upon its broad stone hung a grand bronze nameplate that shone under the sunlight and clearly read: Raven's Craft Guild.
The occupants of the carriage stepped down one after the other, Elowen descending first with quiet composure, followed by Lior, who landed heavily on the stones.
Lior looked around the place where they had stopped, his eyes naturally drawn to the bold letters carved into the nameplate of the building. His lips parted, his expression struck with awe, and his mouth could not help but remain open.
Turning quickly to Elowen, he exclaimed, "I thought you said this was just a small store! What do you mean it's a whole crafts guild?"
"We've always had one, Lior," Elowen replied calmly, striding toward the entrance without pause. "You know, at home we just call it the store."
