The Ravenhart three sisters could be seen seated around the bed of their youngest brother as he sighed heavily. Elowen sat directly beside Lior, gently patting his back while he sniffled pitifully.
Lior forced himself to cry as he sat with his sisters, his voice breaking as he said amidst sobs, "We need to find something to do about this, as I certainly do not want to marry the prince."
His aim for this forced cry was to make his sister interested in this situation and seek to stop the decree. This was Lior first plan to put an end to the consort-to-be title attached to his name.
Isolde responded calmly but firmly, "Lior, I'm afraid there is absolutely nothing that we can do. Rather, this is left for you to decide. Lior, do you think that you like the prince, or can you even fathom the idea of marrying a man?"
"That's true," Seraphina added, leaning forward. "Do you think you might be gay?"
