"I'll take my leave now," Lucan said, moving away from beside Lior. Lior didn't even acknowledge him as he left, and Elowen just stared at him silently as he walked past her.
As Lucan left, she hurriedly came close to Lior and stared at him. Before she could speak, Lior said, "It's not what you think."
As his words dropped, Elowen uttered, her voice laced with shock, "Is he the reason you don't want to accept the prince? Because... you and him are together?"
"Hell no! What the fuck!" Lior cursed loudly as he heard Elowen's words.
He added, though in a much lower tone, "I also don't know why I found it hard to remove my eyes from him… fuck, he could've kissed me if you hadn't entered. Don't tell me this body actually liked Lucan and now that I'm the one in it, I also tend to feel something for those he shared feelings for?"
