Smiling brightly, which brought out the cute Lord, Lior asked, "So, have you gotten the fashion stylist I told you to get me?"
"Yes," Sid nodded.
"Then tell him to come in," Lior said, his green eyes twinkling.
Sid sighed and stepped back to the door, where he opened it to reveal a man about to be in his mid-forties. He came into the room with other ladies behind him, carrying various materials in their hands.
"Greetings, Lord Lior, you requested my presence today," the man bowed lightly to Lior before standing properly.
Lior coughed lightly at the gesture, then he said with an air of charisma, which he had been trying so hard to build over the past days, "Yes, thank you for honoring my call. So, I want to make various nice Lord's clothes for myself, but with suitable and cool materials and colors. You've seen other nobles, right?" he asked, and the man nodded.
"You see how elegantly they dress? Not flashy nor dim, and they stand out. I also want to dress this way. Unfortunately, my wardrobe doesn't want to allow me, so I've called you here for two reasons: I want to sell my old clothes and I want to make new ones. Could that be possible?" Lior asked.
The man stayed silent for a while, his hand on his chin as he brooded. Then, he finally said, "That shouldn't be a problem. Now, I need to take your measurements. Then, your servant or servants need to pack your clothes and deliver them to my store. And finally, you need to choose the fabrics you want and pay."
"I see. Well, let's get started then," Lior said, and he stood up to get his body measured.
Lior sorted his wardrobe out, changed the style of his room from purple to blue, white, and black. His bed was also turned into a proper king-sized one with just the beddings and duvet.
And a day later, Lior could be seen standing in front of a mirror as he styled his hair.
He was currently donned in a free, slightly fitted-at-the-waist black pants, with a black robe with golden stripes and embroidery. A black boot was also gracing his legs. He currently stood before the mirror and fixed his hair.
"Lior, aren't you like… afraid about going back to school? Especially with this hair?" Sid asked as he stood beside Lior with the styling gel.
Lior looked at him with a raised brow, dropping the comb into the gel as he scooped from it. He applied it gently to the strand of hair at the front as he tried his best to make the straight hair curly or even slightly wavy.
"Well, what do I say? This young Lord before you isn't scared. Rather, I'd say I feel refreshed, as I'm starting my life afresh and can choose new decisions," Lior said as he dropped the comb back finally into the gel.
"I'm done," he said, giving himself one last look in the mirror.
Sid sighed as he dropped the curling gel on the dressing table and picked up Lior's hand gloves. Handing them over to him, he said, "Here are your gloves. Should I help you wear them?"
A glance was all Lior needed before shaking his head, "Hell no, what do I need it for? I ain't cold or anything. I think I'm good this way."
"Okay, Lior," Sid said with a nod, and Lior left the room, followed by him.
The hallways were busy with other maids and servants of the house going about, and as Lior stepped foot inside the big expanse of land of their manor, he could see a carriage standing there.
Lior's brows furrowed as he watched it. Then his eyes landed on his sister, Elowen, and Isolde standing just beside the carriage.
"You look like a charming Lord, Lior," Isolde was the first to compliment him as she saw him. Her mouth curved into a smile as Lior came forward.
He got closer to her and held her hand, giving a little cute bow. "Thank you, Isolde."
He looked at the carriage and asked, "And what is this carriage for?"
"For you," Elowen said, eyeing Lior. She also added, "And you look good, even though you cut your hair without informing us."
"I see…" Lior nodded, then said, "But I won't be needing this carriage, as I would ride a horse to school."
"You would ride a horse?" Elowen uttered, surprise clouding her face. She moved closer to him and said, "Are you sure about that, Lior? It can't happen. What if you suddenly fall and then get injured really bad… you could die."
"Oh… stop it, Elowen. The young boy finally wants to be a man and you just want to cut it off. If he says he wants to ride a horse, then we'll let him, but just be careful," Isolde intercepted Elowen.
She turned to Lior and said with a soft voice, "Lior, it's so nice that you thought that riding a carriage to school every day isn't so manly for a young Lord like you. You need to be strong for obstacles and the country, so trying to ride the horse is good. And besides, you've been trained how to ride one at school, right?"
"I have been trained. Thank you, Isolde, for believing in me," Lior smiled as he said, while grinning at Elowen who still looked at him in awe.
"So, does that mean I get to pick my own horse?" Lior asked, ecstatic in his voice as he looked at the two sisters.
Another thing Lior would say intrigued him about the world apart from being red-haired was the fact that he could ride a horse whenever he wanted to and to wherever. In the modern world, there was nothing of such. The feeling of caring for a horse and using it was just top-notch, personally, to Lior.
"Follow me to the stables and we'll be fast with choosing one for you," Isolde said, and Lior nodded.
He turned and followed Isolde to the stables located in the house's big compound. Soon, Lior was before an array of horses, from black to white to brown, and he was at a loss for what to pick.
"So, what are you picking? Male or female?" Isolde asked with a smile as she stood behind the stable, patting one horse on the head.
'If I recall correctly, this Lior is kinda interested in one of the horses here but just never thought to use one as he's always been kept. Maybe I can use that one. So, where is it?' Lior pondered inwardly.
Then, after deciding, he walked around the stables looking for the horse, and then he saw it just at the end. It was a brown, beautifully looking horse and it was female.
"Guess I can take this horse and it'll be my partner, I guess…" Lior chuckled as he patted it. Then, he looked up at Isolde and said, "I think I've found the one."
"What would you name it?" Isolde asked as she stood beside Lior.
Lior rubbed his hand on the horse's fur and mumbled out, "I think it's nice to call her Lily."
"Good. Lily it is then. Gallop up to school, Lior. And I wish you a successful day at school today. No bullies!"
