Several Years Ago.
Walking through a vast isolated forest, a duo advanced at a rapid pace through the woods.
The younger of the two, with black hair and blue eyes - Cao Cao looked at the landscape.
With the trees surrounding them, it was hard to see the sky above, but through the leaves, rays of light shone and illuminated the dark area, the bearer of the Supreme Longinus guessed it was some kind of forest or jungle.
"This is in the middle of nowhere"
Cao Cao commented as he looked to his side, seeing his friend and older brother Alexandre Ikuse.
"It's the closest we can get with magic. The people who live here banned direct teleportation into their base or territory. Don't worry, they're mostly peaceful anyway"
Cao Cao nodded, though he was slightly surprised that his brother had enough consideration for the residents not to destroy their barrier or invade it with [Dimension Lost].
"Alex, are you sure we'll find it here, even being the Fairy Realm, the chance of one of the Excalibur Fragments being here…"
The real reason for Alex coming to this isolated place was his desire to retrieve the weapon supposedly residing there.
One of the Fragments of the legendary Excalibur that was destroyed during the Great War and reforged into seven swords.
Six of them remained in the possession of the Church, while another was lost, precisely the strongest Fragment named Excalibur Ruler.
It is not only the one with the greatest amount of holy energy, but also the most powerful ability.
Excalibur Ruler grants its wielder the power to manipulate anything living or organic material, allowing them to control the will of their opponents and completely subjugate them.

"I forgot how shiny this place is" Alex grumbled: "The fairies are here"
Alex looked in one direction and saw several small fairies flying toward him and Cao Cao, and leading them was a small elderly house.
"Been a while, descendant of the Lake"
Cao Cao's eyes turned to Alex upon seeing how the fairy addressed him, but he quickly understood.
Alexandre was the heir to the spirit of Lancelot Du Lac, the legendary Knight blessed by the Lady of the Lake and the Fairies, it seemed that Alex had an affinity with the Fairies because of this.
"Been a while, Great Elder, I would like to know if I could have passage through your territory?" Alex said smiling, before raising his hand, creating a magic circle that summoned various things.
Cao Cao noticed they were gifts, but most were food from various regions and Factions.
"Why this?"
"Fairies are beings with very kind hearts, but these Fairies in particular are the ones who love different types of food from different factions"
Alex responded to his friend.
"I see... and this will help us gain passage?"
Alex nodded slowly.
"They are quite peaceful, so I'd say yes"
When the conversation ended, the elder Fairy seemed pleased.
"Then, you may cross our territory to gain passage to the place you wish to go. However, I must warn you, the place you're going is full of dangerous creatures. It won't be easy"
"Yes, I understand sir. Thank you very much"

The elder Fairy bowed its head and flew away, while Cao Cao looked at his brother.

The descendant of the Chinese Warlord could only murmur upon seeing the colossal beast guarding the Holy Sword.
How to fight a monster of that size was beyond Cao Cao's thoughts, especially since he had never fought underwater and didn't know how he would fare.
While seeing Cao Cao's nervousness, Alexandre gave a smile.
"Let's be practical, right?"
Alexandre extended his hand toward the Beast, which was awakening upon feeling the vibrant magical energy of the human.

Cao Cao narrowed his eyes at the man's demeanor, who seemed two or three years older than him, but even so, he felt no hostility from him.
"I think it would be better to introduce yourself first"
Alexandre took a few steps forward with a smile on his face.
"Sorry about that" the blonde young man seemed slightly embarrassed.
"My name is Arthur Pendragon, descendant of King Arthur and also of the witch Morgan le Fay, and bearer of Caliburn"

Arthur could see, the cheerful and relaxed demeanor of the man before him changing into something different.
It was the demeanor of an unmatched swordsman, and a cold gaze that was relentless to enemies and oathbreakers.
A noble sentiment that fully represented the chivalry of a Knight, and something that could be accepted.
To wield that sword, that was the minimum required. The blade that should only be given to someone who could be exalted as the 'perfect' Knight.
As the great Swordsman that Arthur was, and with his knowledge, he knew which sword stood before him.
Arondight, the Unfading Light of the Lake, sword of the First and unmatched Knight of the Round Table.
It wasn't just that, just as he carried the will of his Ancestor with his sword, the man before him carried something similar.
Alexandre Ikuse smiled. The sword in his hand was loose, the tip of the sword pointed at the ground. But Arthur did not dare approach.
"If the descendant of King Arthur will face me with Caliburn, then I, Alexandre Ikuse, descendant and heir of Sir Lancelot, of the Round Table, accept the challenge"
It was possible to see not only Arthur's eyes, but also Le Fay's widening upon discovering they were facing the heir of Lancelot, the Knight of the Lake.

Alexandre was the first, and shot forward, surprising Arthur with the sudden attack.
He struck his sword in a downward blow, colliding with Caliburn in an incredible display of strength. With his immense speed, Arthur slid his sword from the push and delivered a salvo of powerful blows at the golden-eyed young man.
Alexandre matched each one, parrying them with great skill while even returning some attacks of his own.
Arthur struck back with hypersonic speed, imbuing Caliburn with holy energy as it shone brightly. He struck forward, releasing a sacred wave.
Alexandre also poured his energy into the blade, releasing his own energy, nullifying the sacred wave. Alex immediately raised his blade to block Arthur's next strike.
Alex once again forced the man to retreat, this time purely by virtue of his great strength. As he fell back, Arthur delivered several masterful strikes, each releasing a wave of holy energy directed at the enemy.
Alexandre surrounded his blade in a thin layer of holy aura, cutting through all of Arthur's attacks before they touched him.
Arthur's hands tightened on his sword. He took a step forward, striking the air in front of him.
Extremely sharp instincts saved Alex as he turned his body, charging his sword toward the sound of rushing air.
From a spatial portal, Caliburn's blade shone, colliding with Arondight.
Arthur leaped forward, once again engaging Alex in a flurry of blade strikes, both contesting each other's every move. This time, the man mixed everything, overlaying each strike with feints and more surprise attacks from all directions through rapidly generated spatial portals.
The Hakuryuukou's instincts were once again triumphant, keeping up with the spatially altered attacks. In a display of great technique, Alex forced Arthur to block an exceptionally well-placed strike, forcing the two to lock blades in a contest of strength, from which the heir of King Arthur was painfully losing.
Arthur's eyes widened, momentarily wavering in his strength for an infinitesimal amount, but it was enough of an opening for Alex to exploit.
In a flash, what was once blades locked in an eternal struggle was Arondight pointed at Arthur's throat, Caliburn on the ground beside him.
Le Fay retaliated in panic, unleashing a salvo of powerful magic from all magical schools in a desperate attempt to save her brother.
They didn't even come close to Alex, as he created a magic circle to defend himself, though such a thing turned out to be unnecessary.
Cao Cao leaped into the air, using Houtengeki to cut through all the magical attacks in defense of his brother.
Alexandre quickly withdrew his sword while Arthur had a look of shock on his face.
"I believe this is my victory"
"Yes, indeed"
Arthur accepted Alex's words with a smile on his face, while Alexandre helped him up.
"Brother, are you okay?"
Le Fay quickly went to her brother's side, who waved with a smile to ease his little sister's worries.
"I never imagined I would be surpassed in this way"
"Haha, don't be like that, you are definitely the strongest Swordsman I've ever fought"
As Arthur picked up Caliburn, Alex smiled cheerfully and placed Arondight on his shoulder.
Even having just met, the two heirs of the Arthurian legends got along extremely well, possessing great compatibility.

Mitsuya said with a smile on his face, while Alexandre smiled normally, neither Arthur nor Cao Cao had cheerful expressions.
