Calm steps were heard as the woman walked toward the gigantic beast before her.

The great legendary dragon, twenty meters tall, its fame was unquestionable.

Níðhöggr—the giant dragon of Norse myths, the one who gnawed at the roots of the World Tree Yggdrasil, merely waiting for Ragnarok.

Its power was undeniable, surpassing the Five Dragon Kings, who were said to possess Ultimate-Class and Maou-Class power.

Moreover, what was most terrifying about Níðhöggr was its ability to revive itself; even if killed, its hatred would bring it back to life until the promised day when it would bring down the World Tree.

Even facing such a monster, Arlecchino maintained her impassive expression; not a single emotion could be seen in her eyes.

They were empty and dull, only a shadow remained of a cheerful and playful girl from many years ago who played with her parents before everything was taken from her.

No words were spoken by the woman; it wasn't even necessary. Her creatures, which were her other 'selves,' would respond to a mere thought.

The dark Beasts halted their advance against the vampires and immediately turned against the gigantic dragon of malice.

In fact, it was almost comical to see the scene.

Níðhöggr was a dragon over twenty meters tall; in contrast, the monsters were three meters tall, but of course, the overwhelming number of creatures that charged against the dragon more than made up for the height difference.

The monsters attacked with everything, striking with their arms, each with the strength of a High-Class being, while others fired their holy light lasers at the dragon.

And all of them were easily crushed by Níðhöggr.

There was no comparison; despite their gigantic numbers, exceeding a hundred, their strikes were incapable of harming the dragon. At the same time, the light attacks didn't even scorch the resistant scales of the Malice Dragon.

"Is that all you've got, girl?"

Níðhöggr laughed with glee as it continued to crush the creatures, using nothing but its physical strength.

At the same time, Arlecchino didn't even show a reaction.

She clearly expected this; each of her [Anti-Monsters] was created to kill vampires, not dragons.

The difference in species and capabilities was overwhelming.

Yet, the woman didn't seem to blink; her eyes appeared to coldly analyze the situation.

Then, from her shadow, new [Anti-Monsters] emerged.

The shadows rose to a height of about ten meters, much larger than the previous ones, and not only that, there were fifteen of them.

The number was overwhelmingly smaller than before, but the overpowering aura they exuded, each rivaling Ultimate-Class, more than compensated for it.

These [Anti-Monsters] also had differences beyond height; their arms, legs, torso, and entire body were bulkier, in the sense of appearing muscular and extremely strong.

When Níðhöggr killed the last of the small monsters, the other fifteen giants charged at him with surprising speed.

"What?!"

The Evil Dragon had no time to react; if the previous monsters couldn't even harm him, these crashed into his body at high speed, pushing the great dragon back.

Níðhöggr could feel that these monsters lacked magical abilities; in contrast, their physical capabilities were beyond standard.

But of course, if it was just about strength, the enemy of those monsters was a dragon, the apex of all species.

For Níðhöggr, it was as simple as crushing ants, or so he thought.

He resumed his attack, using his claws to tear the [Anti-Monsters] apart and his fists to crush them.

Imagine his surprise when, upon punching an [Anti-Monster], it threw its body back without lifting its feet from the ground, its body seeming malleable and not rigid, and the moment it surged forward again, it brought both fists in a single attack.

The moment the fists connected with Níðhöggr, he could feel pain.

The impact forced the Evil Dragon to be dragged back; not only that, but Níðhöggr felt pain from the blow, black blood coming from his mouth due to the internal damage of the attack.

"What kind of curse is this?!"

Regardless of his physical attack, the monsters simply seemed to return it; not only that, the monsters he had torn with his claws had regenerated.

"You don't understand?" Arlecchino murmured as she observed the dragon's expression.

"Shock Absorption, Kinetic Energy Redirection, Impact Nullification, Resistance to Slashing Attacks, Self-Regeneration—these [Anti-Monsters] were created with these abilities."

Arlecchino explained calmly as Níðhöggr's eyes were filled with shock at the explanation.

"That's just the power of my Longinus."

[Annihilation Maker]. One of the four top-tier Longinus.

It is said that every Longinus has the power to kill gods, beings revered and worshipped by humanity, entities said to be unmatched. And that wasn't wrong; all Longinus truly possess world-destroying power.

But there's a problem: their user. No matter what happens, there's no evidence so far that humanity is capable of wielding such power, even if they possess it. It's because they are all too weak, their bodies too fragile despite having so much power, and that's no secret to the world.

Until now, there's no record of humanity being able to kill gods or similar-level creatures using the power of a Sacred Gear.

Before Alexandre Ikuse, no Longinus possessor reached that level; it wouldn't be wrong to call this man an irregularity even among Longinus wielders.

The user of [Boosted Gear] in historical records only managed to defeat an Ultimate-Class demon-level monster—without using Juggernaut Drive, of course.

However, there are a few Longinus that differ.

They may be equal to other Longinus, having the power to kill gods, but they are limited due to humanity's status.

However, those Longinus are different—not because of their user, but because of their power.

[Zenith Tempest], also known as the Prison of the Heavenly Thunder. It has the ability to control the weather and its elemental attributes.

With such power, even in the hands of an amateur, one could drown an entire city or small island with endless rain.

Creating a frozen tundra in the middle of a desert isn't impossible; in fact, it could be said to be easy.

The user is still capable of creating an endless storm capable of annihilating an entire city without leaving a trace.

[Dimension Lost], also known as the Mist of Extinction. Simply put, calling the mist a black hole would be accurate.

It doesn't block, it doesn't attack, it simply devours everything.

Everything it touches is absorbed, swallowed whole, and sent to the Dimensional Rift, a gap between realms. There, nothing exists but nothingness (no pun intended); it's a hollow and empty place, filled with untamed essences and remnants of unknown energy that will crush anything the moment it enters.

One could destroy an entire island by engulfing it in that mist and sending it to that place.

And then, [Annihilation Maker].

The ability to create creatures based on the user's imagination. The one Arlecchino possesses, the ability to create any creature solely based on her imagination.

The thought that such power exists is truly terrifying.

If careless, one could create a giant mountain-sized monster running rampant through a city.

However, no matter what, the limitation is there. Despite being terrifying, its main source of power is also its greatest weakness.

Imagination, no matter how great, will never compare to harsh reality.

For example, you try to create a creature you thought would be invincible. But what limits it?

You cannot create power based solely on that because the World doesn't allow it; the Natural Energy and Mana in the air cannot be manipulated in that way.

Imagination is a powerful weapon; one could create an army of High-Class demon-level monsters, but that's it. To achieve a creature beyond that, you can't simply use imagination.

You need to understand something: how it works, its limitations, its strength, how it lives, and what keeps it alive. The last part is the biggest problem for the Annihilation Maker.

Because it simply creates things improperly, without sense, without the ability to sustain themselves in the world, without energy to maintain them, they simply self-destruct.

But for the woman known as Arlecchino, that's no longer a problem.

She had already unraveled the mystery of her Longinus, taking it to a point no one in history could hope to reach.

A woman with no attachment to anything, harboring resentment toward the world, who had reached a level sufficient to break the world's balance.

Millions could be at risk due to her power, not just in the human world but in the supernatural as well.

That's why, when that perverted Governor-General of the Grigori found her, seeing her broken personality and the power she possessed, he called her 'The Worst Woman in History.'

With a single wish, she could endanger all life on the planet.

The black eyes with the red "X" focused on the Evil Dragon.

"My Longinus is not only capable of creating creatures based on imagination but also makes them more adapted to the situations they encounter; each one will be stronger than the last."

"I truly hope you don't die too soon, Evil Dragon Níðhöggr; I have much to learn about the species called 'Dragon' from you to make my [Anti-Monsters] even stronger."

"Therefore, please accompany me in this experiment."

The Evil Dragon's eyes widened in shock at what it heard, its fury burning even more.

A mere human, treating him like a guinea pig?!

"Don't get cocky, little girl."

The dragon's roar shook the region; Níðhöggr opened its immense mouth, releasing a massive mist of a purple toxic cloud.

Everything the cloud touched was destroyed, an extremely lethal poison released into the air; even without breathing, skin contact would be enough to kill.

The [Anti-Monsters] were slowly decomposed by the power of the toxins, and as if that weren't enough, Níðhöggr attacked with its fists enveloped in a deep draconic aura, crushing the monsters before they could absorb its attacks.

Although the monsters could absorb physical attacks, when mixed with the dragon's aura, it surpassed their absorption capacity.

Arlecchino didn't even blink, watching her fifteen [Anti-Monsters] being slowly defeated by the Dragon.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw dozens of shadowy figures attacking her.

Vampires, thinking she wasn't paying attention, believed they could kill her.

However, when the attacks were a centimeter from Arlecchino's body, a small barrier appeared, reflecting all the attacks to the vampires' shock.

"With that level of attack, you won't be able to overcome my [Corporeal Barrier]."

The Longinus wielder explained calmly, while for the first time, she moved one of her hands, raising her right hand and pointing her finger at the vampires.

A gray magic circle appeared at the tip of her finger, and what shot from it was a pure magical blast that completely consumed dozens of vampires.

With a snap of her fingers, dozens of magic circles appeared in the sky, unleashing a true magical bombardment; various elements like fire, water, air, lightning, and other elements were fired at the vampires.

Despite their attempts to defend themselves, when the attack finally stopped, it was revealed that at least half of the Tepes city had been consumed by the magical attacks, and many vampires had been killed.

"Where do you think you're looking?"

The gigantic dragon Níðhöggr roared, finishing off the [Anti-Monsters] and advancing with its fist surrounded by a deep aura to crush Arlecchino.

"It's a bit arrogant of you to think I need to look at you; I can defeat you with my eyes closed."

Before the fist reached the woman, an immense fist emerged from her shadow, striking the dragon's face and sending it flying.

From the woman's shadow, ten [Anti-Monsters] emerged, each now fifteen meters tall, their build similar to the previous ones but slightly more agile.

"Here we go again!"

Níðhöggr, seeing the monsters advance again, released its poisonous mist, but to its shock.

"What is this…"

The [Anti-Monsters] began to devour the poisonous mist in the air and continued their attack.

Even when Níðhöggr attacked with flames or its aura, the monsters simply absorbed it as if it were nothing.

"Shock Absorption, Kinetic Energy Redirection, Impact Nullification, Resistance to Slashing Attacks, Self-Regeneration—these were the characteristics of the previous generation that I passed on to this one, and furthermore…"

"Poison Absorption, Flame Absorption, Poison Immunity, Flame Immunity, Aura Absorption."

"As I saw you using poison, I granted the ability to absorb poison and convert it into energy, as well as poison immunity; assuming you, being a dragon, could use fire, I granted absorption and immunity to that as well. Additionally, the ability to absorb the draconic aura emanating from your attacks, and furthermore…"

A shocked Níðhöggr couldn't react when an [Anti-Monster] attacked, landing a punch to its chest.

The fist pierced the dragon's resistant scales, continuing a relentless attack.

But what surprised it was actually the power enveloping the creatures.

The power to kill dragons.

"I granted each creature a Dragon Slayer aura that wouldn't lose even to that of the Demonic Emperor Sword Gram; of course, I only achieved this because Alexandre allowed me to study the sword in the past."

The [Anti-Monsters] continued their merciless attack on the Evil Dragon, which couldn't resist the avalanche of blows.

Moreover, it felt overwhelming pain in its body, not only due to the Dragon Slayer power but also a kind of poison circulating within it.

"You noticed? My [Anti-Monsters] also carry a special poison; I created it based on the poison of the Dragon Eater, Samael. I can't say if it's on the same level, but…"

"Being a dragon, this poison will surely kill you; moreover, it can destroy even a dragon's soul."

Níðhöggr's eyes were filled with shock; if that were true, then it could be killed permanently.

With its soul destroyed, it would never be able to return to life through its own power.

The [Anti-Monsters] continued an overwhelming attack, not hesitating for a moment as they tore the dragon's body apart.

It was a brutal death, fitting for an Evil Dragon, as the monsters turned parts of their bodies into blades to cut it or simply ripped off its wings and legs without care.

"S-stop…"

The once-cruel eyes, filled with a thirst for blood, were now filled with tears as the dragon desperately fought to prevent its death.

The pain-filled eyes of the dragon focused on the merciless woman before it, never imagining such a terrifying power existed.

Annihilation Maker, a Longinus that allows creating creatures based on imagination… Simply put that way, it makes anyone think how powerful the Sacred Gear is.

There are many islands on this planet; many of them are gone and will never be remembered by mundane people. One of them was the island called Cactuar Island, located between Europe and the Asian continent.

That island was completely destroyed. Permanently erased along with all living beings on it. Men, women, babies, animals, plants. None of them survived.

That's a story for another time, of course. However, there's one shocking thing about the possessors of this Longinus.

In the last five hundred years, no user of [Annihilation Maker] lived past the age of twenty.

Why? Simple: they were all killed.

Murdered while they slept.

Killed in a vulnerable moment.

Assassinated when they were still nothing but babies.

It's because the power of [Annihilation Maker] is too easy to use and the most outrageous. It was a Sacred Gear very suitable for children because imagination is much stronger at a young age.

But when they grow up, it becomes a problem.

At first, during the transition to adolescence, there's no major issue. All [Annihilation Maker] users can live normally; however, as they age, so do their minds and consciousness, making their creatures more potent.

But the biggest problem comes when humanity begins to learn.

When they start to grow. They become smarter. More creative. More adaptive. More resilient. And more imaginative.

Many entities began to fear and distrust humanity's growth; with such power to create monsters just by imagining, that already makes everyone cautious. So imagine when they start discovering their power while becoming smarter and more creative.

And the fear was confirmed during the Cactuar Island incident.

On that day, the wielder of [Annihilation Maker] began to be hunted. Whether to be killed or recruited to join an army. However, one thing is certain: they never live past twenty.

It's because they are all killed; many gods and creatures fear their power. The thought of a user capable of creating a god-killing monster is terrifying.

How the Biblical God was able to create such a Sacred Gear in the first place is a mystery; there's speculation that He found some remnant of Typhon, the Father of All Monsters, and decided to seal it, turning it into a Sacred Gear much like the Nemean Lion. However, there's no solid evidence.

The moment [Annihilation Maker] awakens, its wielder becomes the target of all supernatural beings.

They would never let the wielder of such a Sacred Gear grow; such a person could never have a happy life.

The empty and dull eyes of the woman saw the despair and fear in the dragon's eyes.

How ironic, the creature feared by the entire supernatural world, recorded in myths for killing humans for sheer pleasure…

Was now crying like a helpless child afraid of death, a fate that would be granted to it precisely by a mere human.

Arlecchino walked calmly toward the dragon's body.

"I don't blame you for underestimating me; truly, I am weak, I'm not the strongest."

That was a sad truth; despite the overwhelming power of her Longinus, the weakness was precisely its user.

Despite all her abilities, which Arlecchino admitted could hold up even against a High-Class and Ultimate-Class demon with just her skills, a Maou-Class being could erase her body in an instant.

The woman finally stopped near the dragon, its body immobilized by the creatures she created.

Arlecchino took out a small blue orb in her hand and placed it against the dragon's forehead as it wept.

"However, I don't need to be the strongest. I will create the strongest."

The ghost of a faint smile appeared on her face.

"If I cannot defeat my enemy, I only need to imagine something that can."

The orb glowed in her hand, and in the next second, the dragon's eyes became lifeless, its soul sealed within the small sphere.

"I have some interest in your species; if you don't mind, you'll help me with my experiments for a bit longer."

Storing the small orb, Arlecchino shifted her gaze, seeing hundreds of vampires surrounding her, most frozen in fear while some began to flee.

The gigantic [Anti-Monsters] positioned themselves with their mistress at the center.

"Very well, if you attack me all at once, you'll live for ten more seconds."
