Groaning, I rub my hands over my face roughly. The whole argument started because Eli wanted to be the one to plant the USB drives in the security office and take the one already there so we can check the CCTV footage.
I simply reminded him he wouldn't be fast enough and that I should do it but the conversation took off in a different direction.
Apparently, he thinks I wanted to be that prince in shining armor that would save Hope If she was in danger although Kaleb insists that she just ran away from school.
Running away doesn't solve anything, I've only met Hope like twice but I can strongly tell she won't abandon her life changing scholarship for no actual reasons. Or maybe some dump reason.
" The drive will be here soon. " Kaleb's voice broke our one minute of mudurous glare.
