"Hmm?"
This was the first time even Angel Mojito had encountered a situation like this.
Logically speaking, a God of Destruction was supposed to be the ultimate combat force in a universe. Their destructive energy couldn't be neutralized or overpowered so easily—not by mortals, at least.
Yet the purple-red energy ball launched by Rayden had completely consumed Sidra's destructive energy.
"Something's not right…" Mojito frowned, a realization dawning on him. He turned quickly to look at Sidra.
Why is Sidra just standing there like a fool? If that energy ball hits him, even if he doesn't die, he'll definitely be torn to shreds!
Swish!
Angel Mojito flashed across the air and appeared right in front of Sidra, stretching out his staff to block the incoming energy.
Sidra finally came to his senses when he saw Mojito standing protectively before him. Relief washed over him. If not for Mojito, he would've been blasted in front of an audience—and that humiliation might have been worse than the pain itself.
I've really lost all face today, Sidra thought bitterly. If I had known this would happen, I would've just gone and destroyed that planet like I was supposed to.
Mojito looked at Sidra with a helpless expression and then turned his gaze to Rayden and his companions.
"You three are quite strong," he said calmly. "Which universe are you from?"
Rayden's eyes flickered. An idea suddenly formed in his mind—a perfect bluff.
"We're from the Sixth Universe," Rayden answered with confidence.
Mojito raised an eyebrow. "The Sixth Universe? Why did you come here to the Ninth?"
Before Rayden could answer, Broly and Cell quickly picked up on the ruse.
"We were living peacefully in Universe Six," Cell began, "until one day, our God of Destruction, Champa, came to us personally."
"He said he'd been holding a grudge against Sidra from Universe Nine for a long time," Broly added.
"That's right," Rayden continued, staying in character. "Champa told us that Gods of Destruction aren't allowed to fight directly, so he paid us to come here and test Sidra's strength on his behalf."
Rayden paused dramatically and then added, "He even promised us a shuttle cube if we could beat Sidra."
"H-How dare he!"
Sidra's face turned red with fury. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had no quarrel with Champa! Why would he do such a thing?
The three warriors remained calm and confident. Their flawless acting completely sold the story—even Angel Mojito didn't sense anything wrong.
"That damn Champa!" Sidra roared. "Mojito, we're going to the Sixth Universe immediately! I need an explanation from him!"
Angel Mojito, however, remained composed.
"Lord Sidra, I don't think that's a good idea," he said.
"Let it go?" Sidra bristled with indignation. "You expect me to just swallow this insult?"
Mojito sighed, shaking his head. "Master Sidra… you are… weaker than Champa. If you go to confront him, it'll only make things worse."
Sidra hesitated.
Even he had to admit—Champa might be annoying, but his strength wasn't something to be trifled with.
But then, he made up his mind.
"No! I can't let this go. I'll train harder and take revenge!"
Sidra turned to Mojito with determination in his eyes.
"Mojito! From now on, I want you to train me every day! I'll also fulfill my duties and start destroying planets regularly!"
Angel Mojito blinked in surprise, then smiled warmly.
"Yes, Lord Sidra."
Rayden, Broly, and Cell, who were still standing to the side, were stunned by what they just heard. They had hoped Sidra would go storming into Universe Six and cause trouble for Champa. That would've worked out perfectly for them.
Instead, they'd accidentally motivated Sidra to improve himself.
Seeing this turn of events, Rayden took a step back and said, "If you have no more need for us, we'll return to the Sixth Universe now."
"Wait!" Mojito suddenly called out.
The trio froze.
Uh oh...
Rayden felt a twinge of nervousness. Did Mojito see through the lie? Was he about to attack them?
Rayden maintained a calm expression. "Yes? Is something wrong?"
Mojito tilted his head. "That energy attack you used earlier… the purple-red one. What was it called? And where did you learn it?"
Rayden barely paused before replying, already crafting a new lie.
"Oh, that? Originally, Champa was trying to teach me how to use destructive energy to fight Sidra. But something went wrong during training. The energy mutated somehow… turned into something new."
He continued, his voice steady and serious. "When Champa saw how powerful it was, he gave it a name: Annihilation."
"Hmm… is that so?" Mojito's expression was thoughtful but unconvinced.
He had seen many Gods of Destruction come and go. He had never once seen destructive energy mutate like that.
But with no evidence to prove otherwise, he let it slide.
"If there's nothing else," Rayden said smoothly, "we'll return to Universe Six now. Farewell."
With that, Rayden placed a hand on Broly and Cell's shoulders, and the three vanished in a flash of light.
---
After the trio left, Sidra's face darkened as he turned to his angel.
"Mojito," he said, "contact Supreme Kai Luo. I want to speak with him immediately!"
Mojito already knew what Sidra was thinking. He sighed quietly and pulled out his staff.
A few moments later, a bright portal opened, and Supreme Kai Luo appeared in the God Realm.
He looked puzzled. "Lord Sidra? What's the emergency?"
Sidra stepped forward and asked urgently, "Luo, are there any powerful humans in the Ninth Universe?"
"Powerful humans?" Luo repeated.
He thought for a moment. "Well, I did meet three humans recently who seemed strong… at least by mortal standards."
Sidra's eyes lit up. "How strong are they? Could they stand up to a God of Destruction?"
Luo blinked in confusion. Was Sidra serious?
"Lord Sidra… I mean no offense, but that's absurd. There's no way those three could ever reach your level."
Sidra grew impatient. "Are there any stronger humans than them in Universe Nine?"
"No," Luo admitted. "They're the strongest humans I've seen so far."
Luo turned to Angel Mojito with growing concern.
"Mojito, what's going on? Why is Lord Sidra acting like this?"
Mojito answered with a resigned sigh. "Those three humans earlier? They were from Universe Six."
"WHAT?!" Supreme Kai Luo nearly jumped.
Sidra nodded solemnly. "Luo, from now on, bring those three humans here. You and I will train every day!"
Sidra thought to himself: If Universe Six has such strong mortals, then so should we! I'll just train them myself!
Supreme Kai Luo sighed. "Very well…"
---
A short time later, Luo returned—bringing with him three warriors.
"These are the strongest humans I could find," he said.
Sidra's eyes widened in anticipation… then narrowed in disappointment.
It was the Dangerous Trio—Bergamo, Lavenda, and Basil.
Sidra's jaw twitched. He waved his hand dismissively. "Yes, yes. I got it…"

Meanwhile, back on Earth in Universe Seven...
Swish!
Rayden, Broly, and Cell reappeared on their island.
Cell laughed. "Rayden, that God of Destruction Sidra wasn't that impressive after all!"
Rayden shook his head. "You're wrong, Cell."
Broly looked confused. "What do you mean?"
Rayden explained, "You and Cell still don't know how to counter destructive energy properly. That's a dangerous gap."
Broly's eyes lit up with an idea. "Rayden! Since you can release that energy, why don't you create an Annihilation Ball for us to try and block?"
Rayden froze, stunned by the request.
Was Broly crazy? He actually wanted to take a hit from Annihilation energy?
Cell nodded. "Broly's right. If we can withstand your energy, then we'll be able to endure destructive energy as well."
Rayden hesitated. "I don't know…"
Broly looked him in the eye and said firmly, "Rayden, you need to trust that we can handle it."
