This stage of the races was meant for the school to get a grasp of how athletic the students were. After everything was wrapped up, it was time for lunch. As expected, the entire first year was excited about the matches that took place today.
They went on and on about the different races, who won what, their times, and who would perform well at next year's tournament. I mostly just listened to them as I ate my lunch. Most of the conversation was about Cesar.
Seeing someone so talented at their age must have lit a fire under them. They were genuinely excited to compete against other schools.
