As the large doors opened, they were met with a large command centre, in the middle a gigantic holographic star map, its surface projecting a large 3-dimensional map of the current region. "Lord Titus, as we've said, we have come to a brand new universe. We don't know what the situation is like, as this is a brand-new world for us. Though we have managed to find signs of a region similar to the Warp, thank the Emperor that it's nothing like ours. While there are some signs of chaos within, the chaos is orderly and seems to follow certain inherent laws of this universe..."
Hearing the door open, the large man wearing the same armour as Shinji held his hand, stopping what appears to be an astrologer of sorts from continuing his conversation...
Except he had a black bead right in the middle of his head
"Brother Titus, it's good to see you! How's everyone doing back at the 2nd Company?"
Opening his arms, Shinji hugged a tall man, wearing the same type of armour as him, except having a more stylish hair. Seeing Shinji climb up the bridge, Titus broke into a smile, happy to see his old comrade once more. "Brother, could you please inform us next time when you're gonna do a jump into another Universe. You nearly killed me last time when we went to the previous one..."
Wearing a similar Powersuit, this time having a hood on top, another blue smurf- sorry, Ultramarine walked towards Shinji, his expression joyous (his lips were crooked an extra millimetre at the top). Varro Tigurius was just happy that they had jumped to another Universe where the 'Warp' had not royally fucked themselves immediately after entering it.
As long as we don't fight something like the Scarlet King...
Shuddering in horror, Tigurius remembered the time when they were nearly decimated by the seven children of the Scarlet King. The only reason they were able to survive was because many of their brethren sacrificed themselves to allow them to summon the God Emperor of Mankind. Clenching his fists tightly, Tigurius stood silent, lamenting at the deaths of his brothers.
"Ooohhh...what do we have here? Is it what I think it is? A miniaturised Graviton Reflector field binding a blackhole? And inside such a small device?"
Slithering through the floor, a humanoid figure scuttled into the bridge, his mask-laden face curious at Welt's cane, his many eyes fixated on the dark wooden cane. Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl, in all his might and glory, came from one of the many screens that were laid at the back, his many eyes never leaving the wonder in front of him. "Hmm...a semi-emclosed blachole containment device. Haven't, *click*, seen them since the end of the Dark Age of Technology. Seems to me this world still has Men of Iron here..."
"Hoh, what do we have here? A monstrous amalgamation of what was once human?"
Riding her cane, Herta floated above Belisarius Cawl, eyes tilting at the damning sight before her. "Why have you modified your form so...greatly? While I do agree that machines are more durable and long-lasting, humanity has something that they don't-"
Suddenly, the space before the ship flickered before shattering into prisms. From within, a gigantic metal head emerged from the dark crevice, its myriad tentacles tasting, checking, feeling its surroundings.
Then its large, red eye latched onto them
"All praise the Omnissiah, He is the God in the Machine, the Source of All Knowledge!"
