Chapter 25 - The Massacre & The Kiss

Inside a dark obsidian tower, high above the clouds and separated from the chaos of the world below, sat a man alone with his wine, his cake, and his cruelty.

Namo.

The supreme male general of the resistance, the self-proclaimed purifier of the feminine plague, reclined on a velvet throne that shimmered with stolen gold. His eyes, icy and predatory, watched the events unfold within a magical crystal hovering in front of him. Flames roared. Screams echoed. And there, amidst it all, was Kuina—broken, bleeding, unmoving.

He took a small bite of the moist cake, chewed thoughtfully, and smiled.

"Finally," he whispered. "Finally, that red-haired bitch is gone."

He raised his glass toward the vision.

"Blessed be Michael. I stopped chasing her for a while, thought maybe I'd let the game play out. And lo and behold, that idiot managed to pull it off. Maybe there's hope for malekind after all."

He sipped.

"She was always too wild. Too sexual. Too adored. Women like her... they don't belong in charge. They belong dead."

His smile twisted.

"And every one of her harem sluts will follow her into the dirt."

Far across the continent, over skies laced with tension and loss, Kylie and Lika flew silently.

Kylie's wings beat softly, her black lipstick gleaming in the sun, her gaze sharp and focused. She hadn't spoken since the system's alert. Lika glanced at her, nervous, confused.

"Kylie?" she tried, voice trembling. "Say something..."

But Kylie remained silent, eyes locked forward, as if any distraction would shatter her into pieces.

Behind them, riding the sky like a death omen, Piper flew atop Mortis. Her green hair danced in the wind, lips pressed tight in fury. Beside her, Clara soared, nude and glowing with inner magic. None of them smiled. None of them joked.

Clara turned her head slightly. "That girl... Kuina. She's the one you love, isn't she?"

Piper didn't even hesitate. "Yes. And if she's truly gone... this world will never know peace again."

Clara's voice softened. "Don't worry. We'll fix this."

Mortis snorted, his deep voice rumbling like thunder. "Whoever did this will pay. Right, Piper?"

Piper's lips curled. "He won't see another sunrise. But what concerns me more… is what Mira is about to do."

Back on the coast, inside the beach bar, Molly wiped the counter lazily, unaware of the tragedy that had unfolded.

She hadn't received any alerts. No system ping. Nothing.

She glanced at the unconscious bar owner lying on the floor, still snoring from Kylie's earlier spell. Rolling her eyes, she nudged him with her foot.

"Hey. Wake up."

He groaned and sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Molly? Where the hell are the customers? What time is it?"

"It's only been half an hour. Chill out. Still 5 PM."

He narrowed his eyes. "If that witch ever comes back in here, I want her dead. You hear me?"

Molly stared at him coldly. "Don't worry. She won't be coming back."

Her smile was thin. Almost cruel.

In the heart of the Fire Kingdom, chaos reigned.

The ground shook. Buildings crumbled. The skies turned crimson.

Mira screamed, and the world answered.

Her power had fully awakened. Her aura blazed in violent purple and gold, melting the stones beneath her. Servants and soldiers alike, men and women—ran in all directions, trying to escape.

Michael, bruised and bloodied, still stood, screaming at them.

"HEY! This is an order! You all stay!"

They ignored him. No one obeyed. Not anymore.

Mira's scream came to a sudden halt.

Then—boom—in less than a blink, she vanished and reappeared behind Michael. Her foot slammed into his back, launching him into a wall with a sickening crack.

He barely had time to groan before the next punch came.

And the next.

And the next.

Every millisecond, a new strike. Her fists blurred, her legs flew. Purple fire burst from her hands, burning everything in its path.

Michael couldn't move. Couldn't react.

He coughed blood, screamed, and spat teeth. "Sister, stop!"

"You are not my brother!" Mira shrieked. Another blow. A crack of ribs. A fiery blast to his chest.

"You KILLED her!"

Another punch. Another roar. The walls melted from the heat. The very air screamed.

"You'll PAY! FOR! WHAT! YOU! DID!"

With each word, a hit.

Michael's body was a ruin. His smile faded, replaced with pain. His charred flesh smoked.

Mira stepped back. Her aura pulsed like a living storm. She raised her hand.

"Triangle of War…" she whispered, her voice now deep and echoing.

A glowing green-purple triangle formed in her palm, spinning with unbearable energy. The ground cracked. The flames bent toward it.

"This is the end, Michael. No more siblings. No more mercy."

She fired.

The triangle exploded from her hand like a comet, its velocity tearing through the air.

Michael couldn't move.

The blast hit.

A thunderous BOOM shattered the kingdom. Fire consumed the land. Winds screamed. Debris flew miles.

Kylie and Lika flinched midair. Lika gasped, covering her ears. Kylie didn't even blink.

Piper and Clara saw the fireball from a distance, eyes wide. Mortis growled.

Molly, still in the bar, dropped the glass she was holding.

"…What the hell was that?"

She stepped outside, scanning the sky. "Better check. With my speed, he won't notice I'm gone."

She vanished.

Like a whisper on the wind, Molly raced through the trees, her boots barely touching the ground. She activated her navigation ability, sniffing the air like a bloodhound.

Smoke. Ash. Fire.

She reached the ruined gates of the Fire Kingdom in seconds. Her heart stopped.

Everything was gone.

She sprinted to the center, eyes darting, until—

There.

Kuina's body.

Still. Cold. Lifeless.

Molly dropped to her knees.

"No… What… what happened?"

She touched Kuina's neck. No pulse. No breath. Her hands trembled.

"She's dead… She's really…"

Her eyes narrowed.

"If this was your doing, Kylie… you'll pay for this."

She looked up and saw a figure in the distance. Tall. Flaming. Trembling.

"Mira?" she shouted. "Who's there?! Show yourself!"

Mira turned slowly.

Her eyes glowed. Her hands trembled. Her face wet with tears.

But her power still raged.

Then,

A roar from above.

Michael, not dead.

Leaping from a rooftop, his axe raised high.

"DIIIIIIIEEEEE!"

Mira didn't react.

"Mira, above you!" Molly screamed.

Too late.

But then—CRACK.

Mortis slammed into Michael from the sky, his horn piercing his chest. Michael grunted, blood spraying.

Clara landed beside Molly.

"Move, little one. Let me handle this."

Molly stared at her, shocked. "Why are you naked?!"

Clara scoffed. "Not important, idiot. Step aside."

She knelt beside Kuina, examining her.

Piper landed next to Mira, her expression unreadable.

"That's the one?" she asked coldly.

No answer.

Mira stood frozen. Her power flared, but her soul was shattered.

Tears fell.

"I killed her," Mira whispered. "Not with my hands. But with my ego. With my blindness. I didn't see the clone. I should've protected her."

Kylie and Lika landed.

Molly spotted Kylie and lunged. "YOU—!"

But before she could touch her,

"Locktam."

Kylie whispered the word.

Molly froze in place.

"What… what is this? What did you do to me?!"

"You can't move for the next few minutes," Kylie said softly. "And if you try… your body will tear itself apart. This spell… I can only use it once a week. So count yourself lucky."

Molly's voice cracked. "I thought… I thought you…"

"Don't you dare blame me for her death," Kylie whispered. "Not when I lost the only woman I ever truly loved."

She turned away.

Michael groaned on the ground, trying to rise.

"Well, well," he coughed. "So many of you… All here for little old me? What, gonna fight me six-on-one now?"

Mortis growled. "More like six-on-zero, asshole."

Michael chuckled. "Try me."

He summoned another clone.

Clara, kneeling over Kuina, spoke quietly.

"She's really gone. But…"

She paused.

"There's only one thing left to try."

The clone charged her from behind.

Without looking, Clara grabbed his leg mid-kick.

"Don't interrupt, ugly."

She injected a glowing fluid into his thigh. He collapsed, screaming.

"Angelic poison," Clara said sweetly. "Enjoy dying."

Molly stood frozen, shamed.

"I'm sorry, Kylie," she whispered. "Please… let me go."

Piper stepped closer to Mira.

"You could've stopped this," she snapped. "Instead, you're crying now?"

She raised her hand.

"AQUA STREAM!"

Waves of crushing water slammed into Mira.

But Mira didn't flinch.

She stood still.

Burnt. Broken.

And silent.

From his tower, Namo watched with fascination.

"These bitches again… Still breathing, huh? No way out this time. Kuina's dead. That's checkmate."

He leaped from the roof, soaring through the clouds.

Back at the ruins, Mira's aura flickered.

Then faded.

Her naked body stood in the smoke. The fire had consumed her clothes, her pride, her power.

She collapsed to her knees.

Then began pounding the earth with her fists.

"I'm a monster. A monster. A MONSTER. FUCK!"

Each word louder. Each strike is bloodier.

The others fell silent.

Lika stared at Kuina, eyes wide with sorrow. She whispered to Clara, "Please… try everything."

Kylie stood over Michael, her gaze empty.

"You declared war on your own life the moment you touched her," she said. "You didn't just kill my lover. You killed the only light I had."

She stepped closer, her shadow falling across his face.

"You won't die quickly. You'll die in agony. And every second of it… I'll enjoy."

Michael began to tremble.

Lika and Clara stared at Kylie, speechless.

Piper nodded. "I'm with you, babe."

Molly whispered, "I'm sorry I ever doubted you."

Clara leaned down.

Her lips brushed Kuina's.

Softly.

Lovingly.

Suddenly,A pulse of light burst from Kuina's chest.

To be continued.
