Chapter 16 - Moon Stone

"Do you know about Mt. Moon?" Ash asked.

"Yes," Bulbasaur nodded. "Professor Oak once took me, Charmander, and Squirtle on a trip here."

"Hmm, was it on company expense?"

"What?"

"Never mind."

Bulbasaur scratched her head, not understanding what Ash was talking about. Ash was also a bit flustered, having accidentally slipped into language from his own world.

Bulbasaur led Ash to the entrance of a cave. "Going through this cave will take us to Cerulean City, Master," she said, pointing to the cave.

"Oh," Ash nodded, following Bulbasaur into the cave.

"Um... Bulbasaur, do you know which path to take?" Ash asked after walking for a while and seeing three different cave entrances.

"Um... Master, I forgot," Bulbasaur said, blushing slightly.

"Fuck," Ash muttered under his breath.

"Master, I think I hear something coming from the left cave," Bulbasaur said, pointing to the left entrance.

"Really? I don't hear anything," Ash said, straining to listen.

"I really do," Bulbasaur insisted, waving her arms anxiously, as if trying to convince Ash.

Seeing Bulbasaur's cute, determined expression, Ash almost wanted to take her right there. "Alright, let's check it out," he said, patting Bulbasaur's head. "Stay calm,

"Yes, Master is the best," Bulbasaur beamed, grabbing Ash's arm and pulling him into the left cave with a happy expression.

The cave entrance was small, just wide enough for one person. It was tricky for two people to pass through. Bulbasaur and Ash entered the cave one after the other. As they went deeper, the cave widened until they emerged into a large, circular pit.

At the bottom of the pit, a man and a woman were battling a swarm of Zubat with their Pokémon.

Bulbasaur and Ash crouched at the edge of the pit, watching the couple below. "Master, should we help them?" Bulbasaur asked worriedly.

"Okay, I guess," Ash said, reluctantly releasing Rattata, Pidgeotto, and Abra. He transformed Bulbasaur back into her Pokémon form and rushed down with his Pokémon.

"Rattata, use Super Fang! Bulbasaur, Vine Whip! Abra, use Psychic! Pidgeotto, use Air Slash!" Ash shouted as they ran down.

The couple below turned to look, and the Zubat were momentarily distracted. As everyone looked at Ash, his Pokémon's moves landed on Zubats, who were caught off guard, didn't dodge. One by one, the Zubat fell to the ground, and the remaining ones became enraged, charging towards Ash.

"You two, stop staring and fight back," Ash yelled at the couple, who were momentarily stunned.

"Oh, right," they replied, quickly commanding their Pokémon to attack.

"Clefairy, use Double Slap. Jigglypuff, use Body Slam," they shouted, ordering their Pokémon to use their moves.

"Bulbasaur, use Leech Seed. Rattata, use Bite. Pidgeotto, use Quick Attack. Abra, uh... use Psychic."

A few minutes later, the swarm of Zubat lay defeated, and Ash and his Pokémon were drenched in sweat from the battle.

"Thanks for saving us," the man said, approaching Ash and extending his hand.

"No problem, it was nothing," Ash replied, shaking his hand.

"How did you end up here?" Ash asked.

"We're actually here to find the Moon Stone," the man explained.

"Moon Stone!" Ash exclaimed.

"Yes, I'm Steel, and this is my wife, Liora. We're researchers from the town, and we're here to study which Pokémon can evolve using the Moon Stone," Steel said, gesturing to Liora.

Ash looked at Liora, taking in her round face, her slightly plump but cute appearance, her C cup breasts, and her shapely, rounded butt. He quickly averted his gaze, not wanting to make her husband jealous.

Ash also noticed their Pokémon, Clefairy and Jigglypuff, 'Both evolved using the Moon Stone,' he thought to himself.

"And you? How did you end up here?" Steel asked.

"I'm on my way to Cerulean City and passed through here," Ash answered honestly.

"Oh, I know the way to Cerulean City. Why don't we take you with us? We just need to finish our research first," Steel suggested.

"Sure, I'll help you with your research. I'd also like to see what the Moon Stone looks like," Ash agreed.

"That's great. We could use an extra hand," Steel said with a smile.

"Let's go," Steel said, leading the way to another cave entrance. Ash recalled his Pokémon and followed Steel, with Liora walking beside him.

As they walked, Ash kept stealing glances at Liora, feeling like she reminded him of someone, but he couldn't quite place it.

After walking for nearly half a day, Ash was getting tired. "Where are we going?" he asked.

"To find the Moon Stone, of course," Steel replied without turning around.

"How do we find it?" Ash asked.

"Jigglypuff can sense the Moon Stone. We just need to follow her," Steel explained.

Ash looked at Jigglypuff, walking ahead of them, and sighed, resigning himself to following the group.

Since Ash was walking at the back, he had a clear view of Liora's ample butt, which seemed to sway invitingly with each step. He managed to resist the urge, though it was tempting.

After another half hour, Ash followed Steel into a cave. When they entered, Ash was amazed to see the cave walls covered in silvery-gray stone that glowed with an eerie light.

"Wow, it's beautiful," Ash breathed.

"This is the Moon Stone cave," Steel said, looking at the silvery-gray colored stone.

"Nice, it's really something," Ash said, taking a step forward.

As soon as Ash took that step, a large net suddenly ensnared him, Steel, and Liora together.

"What the hell is this?" Ash exclaimed.

A voice echoed from somewhere, "Since you asked so sincerely, we'll graciously tell you."

"I fucking knew it," Ash muttered, realizing who it was.
