"Don't I, Axel? Don't I own you?" Zane says, his voice now thick with frustration and unmistakable possession. "I mean, you own me, so how come I don't own you?!"
He scoffs, shaking his head slightly, voice rising as his irritation builds.
"Okay, let's get one thing straight… I want you. No, let me say it better. I love you. And that means I'm going to keep you. And if I can't have you, that means no one else is going to! It's as simple as that."
He steps closer, every word sharper than the last, the heat in his voice undeniable.
"Come on, is this really something I have to explain to you? You know me way too well, Axel. You already know that when I want something, I get it. Whether I'm eligible for it or not doesn't matter. I take what I want."
