Chapter 152: The Three Auspicious Treasures
Suikazan Fuguki suppressed Samehada, and his gaze towards Sasuke suddenly turned cold. He switched his swordsmanship for taijutsu and began fighting with ninjutsu.
"Water Style: Shark Bullet Jutsu!"
A chakra shark enveloped him and violently lunged at Sasuke, who countered with a Great Void Ball. The first wind bomb shattered the shark, and the subsequent ones impacted Fuguki, who desperately defended himself with Samehada, ending up covered in wounds. He tried to have Samehada absorb the wind chakra to heal, but discovered that the sword had also been wounded by the jutsu. Samehada, after absorbing the Void Jade energy, became even more restless; Sasuke's chakra was strangely appealing to it. Sensing the great danger, Fuguki prepared to use a more powerful ninjutsu. But at that moment, he saw Biwa Jūzō return in a panic.
"Jūzō, what are you doing?" Fuguki snapped with disdain. "Five of you can't defeat a mere genin?"
"Mere genin?" Jūzō shouted, terrified. "That's clearly a Kage-level powerhouse pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger!"
Fuguki saw the blue shadow of the Seventh Gate flying in the distance and realized the danger. He launched a Great Shark Bullet towards the shadow.
"Toward the Peacock!"
Might Duy's body erupted in blue steam, and he launched countless flaming punches that incinerated the shark bullet and drowned Fuguki in flames. The sky turned red, dazzling like a peacock's tail. Fuguki was thrown a hundred meters and crashed into a giant tree. He wasn't dead yet; Samehada had saved his life once again, but both were gravely wounded.
"Run~!" he thought, looking at Duy with an expression of infernal fear. He turned and fled without looking back.
"Duy, are you alright?" Sasuke asked, approaching, but the blue steam emanating from his friend burned his hand. "Cancel the Eight Gates. We've almost won."
Duy, struggling to stay on his feet, finally collapsed. Sasuke gave him an energy block and used his Yang chakra to stabilize his wounds. He knew that Duy's strength, nourished by his food therapy, had improved. He could now open the Seventh Gate.
A shadow clone sent a memory report. Duy's rampage had been devastating. He had killed Kuriarare Kushimaru, Akebino Jinin, and Munashi Jinpachi. Kurosuki Raiga and Biwa Jūzō had escaped. The clone had only managed to seal two of the swords: Shibuki and Kiba.
Another memory arrived, this one much worse. The mecha puppet fighting Kaguya Baizhan, even with the help of Hiramekarei, had been shattered.
Sasuke felt a sharp pain, not in his body, but in his wallet. It was his best creation, reduced to smoking scrap. He quickly rushed to help with his remaining four mechas.
"White Blood Demon, you dare to fight!" Baizhan challenged him, extracting a bone sword from his own spine.
