Chapter 141: Kirigakure Spy
"This path is blocked. Let's keep fighting."
The two mecha puppets blocked the Sunagakure jonin's path. Seeing no hope of breaking through, he could only continue fighting Tekudo, Ryo, and Chomi. After his initial tactic, Tekudo and Chomi began to decline, but Ryo became increasingly brave.
The Sunagakure jonin used a Lightning jutsu on the water he himself had created, electrocuting and knocking out Tekudo and Chomi. Sasuke, observing the battle, shook his head; his subordinates had been careless.
The jonin tried to take the two as hostages, but Sasuke used chakra threads to control them and maintain distance. "Sunagakure Ninja, if you try another trick, the current wager will be void," he warned him.
"White Blood Demon, I will win this time. You won't break your promise."
Scorned by the jonin, Ryo finally used his ultimate attack. He created a shadow clone and then fused with it and Akamaru.
"Inuzuka Style: Hybrid Transformation, Three-Headed Wolf!"
Where there was once a ninja, a dog, and a clone, now stood a monster. Its strength had more than tripled. The jonin faced a whirlwind of rampant taijutsu that completely suppressed him. He was forced to distance himself and use ninjutsu, but the three-headed wolf spun rapidly, unleashing a terrifying tearing force.
"Fang Over Fang!"
"Water Style: Water Formation Wall!" the jonin defended.
The giant spiral spike pierced the water wall but lost most of its force. Still, it hit the jonin, tearing flesh from his arms and chest, but not killing him. The transformation ended, and Ryo and Akamaru fainted.
"Cough, cough! White Blood Demon! I won this battle. You won't break your promise, will you?" the jonin said, ready to commit suicide if necessary.
"I keep my word, you can go," Sasuke replied, to the surprise of his allies.
The jonin escaped less than a mile before encountering Chagakure Ryusuke and Kuji Tokiwa. Ryusuke directly beheaded him with a sword. Moments later, they arrived to report to Sasuke.
"Sasuke-sama, it's not good. The maritime defense fortress has been breached by the Mist ninjas. They're coming this way. Let's run!" Ryusuke said.
"Lord Sasuke, they are led by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. They are extremely powerful," Tokiwa added, fearfully.
"Hahaha!" Sasuke scoffed, looking at Ryusuke. "Should I call you Chagakure Ryusuke or Kirigakure Ryusuke?"
"Sasuke-sama, I don't know what you mean," Ryusuke replied, remaining calm.
Sasuke pointed directly: "The fortress is short on troops. Isn't that the information you provided, Kirigakure spy?"
"Hahaha! As expected of the White Blood Demon, you are truly capable."
Since his identity was exposed, Ryusuke stopped pretending. His previous fawning attitude vanished, replaced by a cold and distant arrogance. He showed no fear at all, despite being surrounded by the Konoha Hundred.
