Chapter 73: Syrup Armor
Common bees were unable to withstand the impact of infrasound, but the chakra-infused wood bees were not significantly affected.

"Not good," Sasuke's face shifted slightly, but he quickly defended himself. He didn't release the Water Prison Technique or use the Water Wall. He simply made a hand seal.

Suddenly, a layer of viscous, translucent syrup covered his body, as if he were wearing golden armor.

The stingers hit him, but were blocked by the armor. A crackling sound was heard; the armor fractured, severely damaged.
'It seems the defense needs to be reinforced,' Sasuke thought. His armor was not comparable to Gaara's Sand Armor, nor to Kidomaru's Golden Armor, which could withstand Neji's Sixty-Four Palms. His could only withstand one wave of attacks.
"Shock!"
Sasuke released the infrasonic discharge again at maximum power, electrocuting the surviving summoning beasts. As expected of chakra-infused bees, they only fell to the ground, dizzy, but did not faint. After a moment, they flew again, with an even more ferocious attack. Sasuke knocked them down again with another high-power discharge.

He discovered that the stingers were as hard as steel senbon and contained paralyzing toxins. He collected many as new weapons. Afterward, he released the bees from the syrup. As vengeful as they were, they chased him for several kilometers.
On his way back, he stopped at the white bean forest and collected a few kilograms of nuts. When he was about to reach his area, he encountered an interesting patrol team. Two of its members were Fujin and Raijin, the famous "idiot brothers" loyal to Tsunade. The others were a slender girl named Kurama Kon and a chunin named Yamagui Uta.
Sasuke decided to observe. He saw Fujin and Raijin threatening their two companions. They wanted food.
"If you don't give me food, I'll kill you," Raijin growled, hitting the ground with a large wooden club and making a hole next to their captain, Yamagui.
"Raijin, I really have nothing to eat. If you don't believe me, search me," Yamagui said, trembling, almost wetting himself from fright.
"You must have eaten it! I'm going to kill you!" Raijin shouted, seeing there was no food.
Yamagui quickly explained: "I really didn't! It's the mission reward..."
Fujin, beside him, also became angry. "Taijin, you're right. Before, on D-rank missions in Konoha, we ate enough. Now, on more advanced C-rank missions, we don't. Someone must have eaten our food."
"Fujin, Raijin, listen to me," Yamagui tried to explain. "We're on the front lines. If we don't want high-risk missions, we have to bribe our superiors and pay more commissions. Most of the rewards are taken by them..."
But the brothers didn't understand such a deep political agreement. However, no matter how stupid they were, they knew one simple truth: someone was eating their food.
