Jae's breath broke in a deep shudder, his body tightening in Elise's hold as the sensation hit him all at once. The sound he made was low and rough, barely restrained.
Elise didn't pull away. She stayed with him, eyes closed, letting every moment run its course until the last tremor of tension eased out of him.
When she finally leaned back, she brushed her lips softly over him in parting, almost reverent, as though sealing what had just happened with a final, quiet promise. Jae exhaled shakily, his head falling back against the stone behind him
"You," he muttered, voice raw in the best way, "are perfect for me."
Elise blinked, startled by the words. A warmth spread across her cheeks faster than she could stop it, and she looked down to avoid his gaze.
Jae's lips tilted into a half-smirk when he caught her reaction. "Why are you looking away? It's true."
