In the living room, Amelia gently adjusted the cushion on the edge of the sofa and smiled softly. "Actually, this is my uncle's house. He's out working right now and won't be back for a while." Her gaze fell on Lan Qihan and Cen Wenyu. "Grandma lives here with my uncle and aunt. My uncle just got married less than two years ago and they don't have any children yet, so I decided to stay this summer to take care of Grandma."
Lan Qihan nodded slightly, while Cen Wenyu leaned in to glance around the room, curiosity flickering in his eyes. "What about your parents?"
"They went traveling~"
"Why didn't you go with them?"
Amelia shook her head gently, a tender smile playing on her lips. "I didn't want to go either. Their trip is too long, and I want to spend more time with Grandma. She's getting old… and, well, I get along very well with my aunt too."
"Aunt?" Lan Qihan raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of inquiry in her voice.
