"Is this the true form of the Armament Haki technique using Haki transformation?"
Zephyr and Borsalino stood before the skeletal colossus of radiant purple light, unable to stop the ripple of awe in their hearts.
This wasn't mere defense.
It was the fusion of offense and defense taken to its apex.
The Armament Haki was released, shaped into a giant skeleton that wrapped around Rosen and shielded him like a divine protector. Both men instinctively turned to observe the colossal arms of this armored behemoth.
Just moments ago, Rosen had only formed one pair of arms with his Haki power, and that alone had been enough to unleash such astonishing offense and defense. Now, he has taken it a step further. With the full skeletal form, his combat ability had clearly soared once again.
But just as Borsalino and Zephyr were still marveling—
Rosen's voice cut through the air, calm and casual as ever.
"Excuse me."
"It's my first time using this, so I'm still adjusting."
"Wait a moment. It'll be done soon."
As he finished speaking—
The skeletal giant around him began to change again.
Eyes widened.
In the blink of an eye—
The once-ferocious skeleton rapidly sprouted facial features, blood vessels, muscle tissue, skin, and even a full battle uniform. The transformation was swift and seamless.
From a bare skeleton to a purple half-bodied giant clad in armor.
"Are you done now?"
Borsalino couldn't help but ask as he watched the transformation unfold like a dream.
"Not yet."
Rosen's voice remained calm.
And then, under Borsalino's dumbfounded gaze—
He released even more Armament Haki.
The Haki flowed again, shaped with absolute precision, as Rosen layered dense armor upon the already massive frame of the purple giant. Plating appeared piece by piece, covering the half-body with intricate design, the armor radiant with power.
Zephyr narrowed his eyes, took a step forward—
And threw a punch.
Boom!
The fist collided with the armored shell of the purple giant, erupting with a thunderous echo.
But the point of impact remained unharmed.
The giant didn't budge. Didn't flinch.
The overwhelming might behind Zephyr's fist had vanished as if it were nothing.
"This kind of defense..."
Zephyr looked down at his own fist, his eyes flickering with emotion.
It was like striking a mountain.
A defense heavier and sturdier than any mountain.
"Is this your limit?"
Borsalino's voice broke the silence, but he sounded unsure.
"Still no."
Rosen shook his head.
Then, right before Borsalino's eyes, the heavy armor on the Purple Giant began to dissipate.
The plating peeled off and vanished—
And in its place, the giant began to grow a lower body.
Legs. Hips. Feet.
The upper body straightened—
From a crouched stance, the purple giant stood upright.
Its head nearly touched the thirty-meter-high ceiling of the room.
"What? Why remove the armor?"
"If you added legs for mobility, wouldn't it be better to keep the armor on? That way you'd have both offense and defense."
Borsalino stared, unable to wrap his head around it.
Creating a humanoid titan with Armament Haki alone, and then stripping and modifying it as though changing outfits—
Who even did things like this?
"I see."
Zephyr's voice broke through the confusion.
"This is your current limit—but not the limit of the technique itself."
"If I'm not mistaken, the strength and quality of your current Armament Haki can't sustain the full form of the transformation. If you want a lower body, you must sacrifice the armor. If you want the armor, you must sacrifice the lower body."
"As expected of Mr. Zephyr. Your insight is always frighteningly sharp."
Rosen nodded in agreement, then finally revealed what the two had been curious about all along.
"You're absolutely right."
"Transforming Haki into form currently has five stages."
"The first form: Half skeleton."
"The second form: Half-giant."
"The third form: Half-body with armor."
"The fourth form: Haki Giant."
"As for the fifth form... it is the complete body, the perfect fusion of the third and fourth forms."
"It is a martial god incarnate."
"I named it—Susanoo."
"But just as you said, Mr. Zephyr…"
"With my current Armament Haki, I still can't summon the full body Susanoo."
When Rosen first forged this technique through his extraordinary comprehension, even he had been stunned by the result.
This technique was no longer a simple evolution of Armament Haki—
It was nothing less than a Haki version of Susanoo.
And in many ways, more perfect than the chakra-based original.
He could freely shape a variety of weapons using his Haki.
Whether it was the standard katana, longbow, shuriken, or Yasaka Magatama—
Or the legendary Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror—
He could create them all.
Create any weapon. Adapt to any opponent.
This was the path of the gaseous Armament transformation.
The evolution of Haki, taken to its ultimate edge.
"The technique of Forming of Haki really has reached the pinnacle."
"To fully evolve this ultimate form of offense and defense with Haki alone, the threshold is simply too high."
Zephyr stared at the giant as he spoke slowly:
"I haven't seen the fifth form with my own eyes, but I can guess…"
"If your Armament Haki hasn't yet reached Admiral-level, there's no way to activate the complete Susanoo."
"In other words, unless your Haki matches the level I once had at my peak—"
"You won't be able to use the fifth form without instantly draining your Haki reserves."
"Even if you start at full, you'll burn through it in seconds."
"So—don't use the full form recklessly."
It was powerful.
Too powerful.
And because of that, it came with a cost.
Zephyr knew that even he, at his current age, could no longer sustain such a form.
"Don't worry, Teacher."
Rosen nodded in assurance.
He was the creator of this technique. Naturally, he understood the consumption cost better than anyone.
But he wasn't afraid.
Not even slightly.
Yes—today, he couldn't wield the completed Susanoo. The fifth form was still just out of reach.
But what about tomorrow?
With Haki Core and the Rokugan Rebirth (Six-Organ Rebirth) constantly nourishing him, his Haki grew stronger with each passing day.
Only rising. Never falling.
From tomorrow onward, he will be facing one more prisoner every single day.
His battles would become harder.
His Haki would grow even faster.
Unless all the enemies in the Grand Line vanished from the earth—or every sea king and beast was hunted to extinction—there would be no end to his growth.
And thanks to the Rokugan Rebirth (Six-Organ Rebirth), his body would never age.
Not even time could dull his edge.
Even if he lived to eighty, or a hundred, Rosen's power would only continue to grow.
This was the true terror of the technique:
Forming of Haki.
The completed Susanoo, formed by Armament Haki—
It wouldn't take long to master.
"Junior…"
"You're really terrifying."
Borsalino slowly exhaled.
The sunglasses perched on his nose could no longer hide the shock in his eyes.
There was one thing neither Rosen nor Zephyr had mentioned aloud—
But Borsalino knew.
This technique has no ceiling.
Even if Rosen eventually mastered the fifth form—
That still wouldn't be the end.
As his Haki continued to evolve, so too would the size, strength, and endurance of Susanoo.
It wasn't a technique with a limitation.
It would grow as long as Rosen grew.
Only when Rosen's Three Forms of Haki reached their final limit—
Would Susanoo finally reach its true limit.
But the problem was—
Would Rosen ever have a limit?
So far, Borsalino had seen no sign of it.
Rosen's strength had already surpassed the admiral candidates of Zephyr's heyday.
And there was still no end in sight.
