Chapter 67 - Haki Transformation!

In front of him was Zephyr's mighty iron fist, as heavy as a mountain.

And behind him—was Borsalino's light-speed kick, faster than thunder, sharper than lightning.

Faced with the simultaneous assault from a former admiral and a general candidate who had surpassed even his predecessor, and under attack from both front and back, any Vice Admiral in the Marine Headquarters—aside from Garp—would be unable to react in time.

They would only have one option: stand still, take the hit, and die instantly.

Even those at the level of the Shichibukai—

Though they might have the reaction speed to respond, they still wouldn't be able to block both blows.

At best, they'd have the chance to choose—

To pick between Zephyr's iron fist or Borsalino's light-speed kick.

One punch.

One kick.

Unless you are among the elite top-tier admirals, no one can avoid choosing one or the other.

However—

Faced with an all-out attack from both his teacher and his senior, Rosen remained calmly seated on the sofa.

He neither stood up to evade, nor drew his sword to counter.

Instead, he raised his teacup, sipped lightly from it, and savored the lingering fragrance between his lips and teeth, as if the world around him had nothing to do with him.

Only until the very last moment—

When Borsalino's kick, blazing with light, descended from above like a divine blade, about to cleave down on his shoulder—

He finally moved.

Or rather—

The Haki power within Rosen's body began to move.

He himself made no motion whatsoever.

But the Armament Haki within his body erupted violently, like magma gushing from a volcanic core, overflowing outward in waves of unending force.

Boom—!

In that moment—

His Haki pierced through the skin, bursting forth in a radiant flood.

Under Borsalino's shocked gaze, the Haki transformed instantly into a dense purple brilliance, thick and translucent like amethyst crystal, wrapping tightly around Rosen's entire body.

It enveloped him completely—

Forming a barrier that rendered all incoming attacks utterly meaningless.

But that was just the beginning.

After ensuring its master was perfectly protected, the purple light continued evolving without pause.

In the blink of an eye—

That dazzling purple brilliance surged outward once more, forming two gigantic skeletal arms, their size shocking to behold.

Like two dragons rising from a turbulent sea—

One massive, amethyst-bathed skeletal hand reached upward above his head, fingers spread wide, palm facing skyward—

Like a sovereign holding up a collapsing tower, it intercepted the light-speed kick that had been hurtling toward Rosen's shoulder.

At the same time—

The other skeletal hand stretched horizontally through the air, like the palm of a giant deity pressing down from the sky.

It carried with it an earth-shattering force—

And crashed directly into Zephyr's iron fist.

Bang!

Bang!

Two explosive sounds echoed almost simultaneously.

Rosen, using the technique "Forming of Haki," shaped his Armament Haki into colossal palms of absolute precision.

One palm to block his teacher.

One palm to block his senior.

Not a single crack opened between their powers.

Not even the office around them—despite being the site of such a clash between titans—suffered damage.

The three had all shown extraordinary control, limiting their power to avoid collateral destruction.

The light-speed kick.

The iron fist.

The Haki palms.

The forces collided in mid-air with titanic pressure, but in that instant, all three powers cancelled one another out—

Not even a shockwave spread outward.

A perfect balance of might and control.

"Forming Haki..."

"Rosen…"

"The Armament Haki technique you've mastered…"

Zephyr slowly lowered his fist and didn't strike again.

He narrowed his eyes, voice deep and calm:

"It's not simple."

"It is far more sophisticated, more profound, than your Blut Vene (Calm Blood Dress) or your Blut Arterie (Active Blood Dress)."

As the Navy's former Admiral—its most brilliant teacher—Zephyr could instantly discern the sheer depth and danger of this newly evolved form.

Compared to earlier techniques—like internal destruction, Emission, Hardening and Imbuement—

This was on a completely different level.

This was a complete evolution.

Even more terrifying—

Zephyr saw within this technique, traces of many others.

The precision of internal destruction.

The fluidity of external release.

The armor of the Blut Vene.

The layering of Hardening.

It was all there.

All techniques fused into one.

"It's beyond description."

"Junior…"

"If I'm not mistaken…"

"This technique—Forming of Haki—is a fusion of all six existing Armament Haki techniques!"

Borsalino's eyes drifted toward the teacup in Rosen's hand.

Even though both he and Zephyr had held back, and made sure not to unleash an uncontrolled strike—

The force behind that light-speed kick just now?

Enough to blast any Supernova into unconsciousness with one blow.

But what about Rosen?

He hadn't even spilled a single drop of tea.

That fragile porcelain cup hadn't so much as trembled.

The barrier of crystalized purple Haki that wrapped around Rosen?

It completely blocked out the world.

Inside and outside were two separate realities.

"Yeah."

Rosen nodded.

He confirmed Borsalino's assessment without hesitation.

The Forming of Haki technique was indeed the culmination of everything he had mastered thus far.

It drew from the full arsenal:

Hardening

Imbuement

Emission

Internal Destruction

Blut Vene (Calm Blood Dress)

Blut Arterie (Active Blood Dress)

It fused them, streamlined them, and created something new.

A body forged not from flesh, nor chakra, nor energy—

But from pure, unbreakable, Haki will.

"In terms of Haki technique…"

"You've already stood at the summit of the Grand Line—an apex no one has reached before."

"All who call themselves kings…"

"Can only gaze up at you!"

Borsalino's voice dropped low, full of awe.

"Junior…"

"Your understanding… really is monstrous."

This time, he didn't even bother to act playful.

There was no smirk. No teasing tone.

Just the raw, sincere astonishment of someone standing before a true genius.

But Rosen only responded with a faint smile.

He didn't need to say a word.

"Your technique…"

"It can go further."

Zephyr's gaze was serious.

In his mind, he played and replayed that stunning transformation just now.

The way the purple light covered Rosen…

The birth of two great arms…

And then—

He understood.

"Even what you just showed us…"

"…isn't the final form."

"Is it, Junior?"

"You're hiding something."

"Come on—show your senior."

"This room's big enough, even for a giant."

As soon as Zephyr finished speaking—

Borsalino turned and grinned.

His interest was piqued now too.

"Alright."

Seeing the expressions of his teacher and senior—burning with curiosity—Rosen didn't hold back.

Anyway, it wasn't something he intended to hide.

In the days to come, he would have to use it against the joint onslaught of monster-level prisoners.

Even if he didn't reveal it now, it would be seen in battle tomorrow—or the day after.

"Teacher Zephyr."

"Senior."

"Then allow me to make a fool of myself."

Rosen raised his right arm, palm up, fingers pressed together.

BOOM—!!

The Armament Haki within his body no longer suppressed itself.

It surged outward like the great River, unstoppable and vast.

It immediately transformed into blazing purple light, coating his entire body.

Then—

The light expanded.

It grew.

Bones began to form within the glow—

The head, the neck, the upper torso, the arms—

A skeletal giant, cloaked in that same amethyst brilliance, materialized from nothing, rising tall behind him.

It opened its massive arms—

And wrapped around Rosen like a guardian god descending from the heavens, shielding him within its divine protection.
