Her green eyes locked onto mine, bod and mocking, like she knew what she was doing. Tavian moved away from her and leaned against the counter, arms folding like he was bored of the situation.
This was the shit I come back to after fighting with a mad wolf.
Dahlia straightened, unflinching even as I walked towards her. When I reached the counter, my eyes darted to the table, and my brows furrowed at the stack of books.
"What's this?" I asked, my eyes snapping to Tavian. Before he could answer, Dahlia cut in.
"We're studying. I'm his tutor."
"Tutor?" my tone was venomous as I spat out. "Since when do we need tutors? And why her?"
Annoyance creeped through me as I took in a deep breath to calm my nerves.
"Didn't look like you were studying to me," I bit out.
"What does it look like?" Tavian bit back, his tone calm.
"Oh I don't know," I said, my voice raising to a decibel. "Looked like you were about to fuck her to me."
