Keal, Prime, Brine, and Leo had known Fai for a long time now, they had always viewed him as the pathetic individual whose parents had died in the war.
They didn't even have respect for the memories of his parents, and had attacked Fai continuously without a care for consequences.
After all, who could stop them, the school didn't even give a fuck about the weak in the first place.
The weak would not be able to give them funding, so why would they go against the strong, the real ones capable of giving them the fundings they needed.
And that was the reason why Fai couldn't even report them, and even when he did, nothing would be done, and sometimes he would even end up being beaten up by the teachers he had turned to.
They would even claim he was the one at fault and would not even give him a chance to explain. They would beat him mercilessly all for the sake of keeping a good relationship with Keal's parents.
With such a life, Fai could only fend for himself, sometimes if he was lucky the red angel would come and save him, while in other cases, he would have to fight.
But no matter how strong of a fight he would put up, they would still end up beating him, sometimes even to the verge of death.
So Keal's group always thought he would be weak, cause even during the month when Fai was training for the assessment…
They would visit him, and when they did, they would beat him up just like last time. Luckily the last fight was interrupted by the red angel.
But even then, Fai hadn't given much of a fight, and so they still perceived him as a weakling.
That was precisely the reason why Leo wasn't even taking the fight at hand seriously, and that was going to be the reason for his downfall.
When Fai's punch had made contact with its target, Leo could feel all the air in his body had been punched out, and droplets of saliva and blood could be seen falling from his mouth.
'How is this possible? He's only a human. How can a simple human punch this hard? How strong has Fai become?' Leo thought, stunned.
But unfortunately, Fai wasn't done, not yet. The hit was strong enough to send Leo flying back, but Fai would not let him go that easily.
Immediately, Fai followed up with another hit, this time toward Leo's shoulder, and then another toward his side.
Fai continued and followed up with hit after hit, and each time he would hit an area, the sound of cracking bone would follow.
This was the strength of an angry Fai, the result of the 10 points in his strength attribute.
And with that, Fai delivered the final hit towards his stomach once more, the strength of the hit sent Leo flying a distance back, stumbling to the floor.
His landing was rough, and it didn't look like he was getting back up... At least not anytime soon.
Who would, after all that beating?
Fai, after the last hit, was breathing heavily, his shoulders moving up and down.
He didn't even need to check if his opponent had been dealt with; he had already received the information from the system.

Fai didn't even need to look at the information from the system, he pushed it away, just the ding was enough for him.
With that sound, he was not only sure he had defeated Leo, but he had dominated him completely just like the system had asked.
Prime and Brine, standing to the side, couldn't believe their eyes.
The uneasy feeling they had from before had only worsened; now it was clear that it wasn't just a mere intuition, it was real?
Brine and Prime had witnessed the fight, and they couldn't do anything for their fallen comrade, not because Fai was stronger than them combined, but because everything had happened far too quickly for them to even react.
All they could do was watch the outcome.
"Di... did... he... just defeat Leo?" Brine stammered, disbelief etched on her face.
"You tell me. I feel like... like... I'm dreaming," Prime muttered, slowly pinching himself to wake from the nightmare he was in.
They were utterly bewildered. Even within their group, everyone knew their strengths, and it was clear that Keal was the strongest, followed by Leo and then the twins.
Although Leo wasn't as strong as Keal, for him to be eliminated so quickly, and by Fai no less, was something they would never have believed possible, even in their wildest dreams.
Yet, it had just happened.
"And trust me, it's just the beginning. When I'm done with you guys, none of you would ever want to attack the weak or... an orphan... ever again,"
Fai declared, his eyes filled with grim determination. He wasn't kidding.
The twins, hearing his words, instantly knew it, this was no bluff; he was truly capable of such a thing.
And now it was their turn...
