In the heart of a pitch-black cave that breathed with violet mist, Adam sat surrounded by walls that pulsed like giant arteries, emitting a low sound... like the whispers of forgotten creatures. Before him stood a massive stone statue in a humanoid form, half of it decomposed. From its right hand dangled a metal chain, at the end of which was a black ring that pulsed with a living heartbeat.
Adam slowly reached out his hand.
He touched the ring.
And suddenly... he screamed!
It wasn't just an audible scream; it was a scream that pierced bone, shook memory, and ignited fires in corners of his mind he never knew existed.
The ring screamed:
