Chapter 100 - SS 100: Kaiser’s Advance, Hunting Divine Beasts?

Kaiser's progress was astonishingly fast.

So fast it caught even Athena off guard.

With this Cloth, Kaiser could now face second-tier gods in his base form.

If he used the divine artifacts in his domain, he could catch a second-tier god by surprise.

He might even overwhelm them in one go.

"When your Cosmo reaches the peak of the Eighth Sense, we can start preparing to forge your divinity."

Athena's projection gazed at Kaiser intently.

His progress was far faster than she had imagined.

Many of her previous plans were now obsolete.

"Oh?"

"What conditions are needed to forge divinity?"

Kaiser looked at Athena curiously.

From what he had learned before, forging divinity required only a suitable soul, Cosmo, and physical condition.

He was already close to that point.

"That's true."

"But that would only make you a third-tier god, the lowest level."

"Do you want to settle for being a third-tier god?"

"With your potential, you can skip the third-tier god stage entirely."

"A third-tier god's divinity wouldn't aid you; it would only hold you back."

Athena's words made Kaiser thoughtful.

Third-tier gods were indeed weak.

Some couldn't even handle a Seventh Sense Gold Saint.

A single misstep could lead to their defeat.

Take Hypnos's Four Dream Gods, for example.

Four against one, they nearly got wiped out by Capricorn Elcid.

If they hadn't fought together, Elcid would have overpowered them.

The gap between third-tier and second-tier gods was vast.

"So, what should I do?"

Kaiser asked.

"Determine your divine path."

"Every god has their unique authority."

"Like me, the Goddess of Wisdom and War."

"That's the power my divinity grants me."

"With your progress, you can start planning now."

"Soon, you'll reach the peak of the Eighth Sense."

Athena reminded Kaiser.

"I understand."

Kaiser nodded.

Athena's projection vanished.

The Nine Realms were too dangerous for her to linger.

"A divine path, huh?"

Kaiser frowned.

He had fused many laws within him.

The Law of Time and Space from earlier.

Plus, the Three Books of Heaven, Earth, and Man from the Zombie World.

Those books contained more than just Time and Space laws.

"All-encompassing?"

Kaiser murmured.

He thought of a divinity and divine role suited for him.

The God of Chaos.

Greek mythology and other creation myths shared similarities.

Both spoke of a Chaos God who birthed the world.

In Greek mythology, it was Chaos; in others, it was figures like Pangu.

"Time and Space, the Three Books, Pangu's Blood from the Zombie World, the War God status of the Pangu Clan, and the Creator God status…"

"It's time to seriously consider my path."

Kaiser thought to himself.

For now, the God of Chaos seemed the most fitting.

In the Saint Seiya world, Chaos's presence was negligible, almost nonexistent.

The Creator God was Chronos, the God of Time.

This meant Kaiser had an opportunity.

Gathering his thoughts, with Silver Star Sand and Gammanium enhancing his Cloth, it felt even more comfortable.

Kaiser was ready to set his plan in motion.

Stepping out of the room, he saw Brünhild sitting at the door.

"You're out already?"

Brünhild was surprised.

She didn't expect Kaiser to emerge so soon.

"Yeah."

"My plan can begin."

"I'm leaving Midgard to you."

Kaiser stretched lazily.

"What are you going to do?"

Brünhild frowned, sensing Kaiser's next move was no small matter.

"Me?"

"I'm going to slay a god."

Kaiser's lips curved into a confident smile.

"Slay a god?"

Brünhild's eyes widened.

She couldn't believe Kaiser would say something so shocking.

Had he lost his mind after such a short time in the room?

Brünhild couldn't comprehend it.

"Let's split up."

"As long as it's not one of those legendary figures in person, I'll be fine."

Kaiser said calmly.

His body turned into a streak of light, shooting toward the moon in the night sky.

"What a joke."

Brünhild was stunned.

But Kaiser was too fast for her to catch up.

If he was truly going to slay a god, she'd only hold him back.

In the sky, the moon streaked across the heavens.

To the beings of the Nine Realms, its movement seemed slow.

Behind the moon trailed a giant wolf, chasing it relentlessly.

It was Hati, the Moon-Hunting Hound, one of Fenrir's sons.

Born of Fenrir and a giantess, it was immensely powerful.

To free its father and hasten Ragnarök, it tirelessly pursued the moon.

Its brother, Sköll, chased the sun.

Legend said they would devour the sun and moon when Ragnarök arrived.

The Norse pantheon was unique.

Unlike others, it lacked a Sun God or Moon God.

In the Nine Realms, the sun and moon served only to illuminate, nothing more.

Kaiser eyed the wolf chasing the moon.

He threw a punch!

Golden light illuminated the sky.

"What the... ?"

"Who's there?!"

Hati's body was struck, crashing into the earth below.

"Clang!"

Kaiser donned his new Sacred Cloth.

His aura surged to unprecedented heights.

His burning Cosmo seemed to light up the world.

"That's…?"

"Kaiser's Cosmo?"

"How is that possible?"

"It wasn't this strong when he faced the Bone Dragon."

Brünhild was bewildered.

In Niflheim, the Black Dragon King Nidhogg was equally stunned.

Kaiser's aura had multiplied since their last encounter.

"What is that?"

"A Divine Cloth?"

Nidhogg gazed at Kaiser's position.

This aura shook the Nine Realms.

"Bold move, targeting the Moon-Hunting Hound."

"If he can prevent the sun and moon from being devoured…"

"Could the curse of Ragnarök be broken?"

The gods of Asgard and Vanaheim witnessed the scene.

Hati's body crashed into Muspelheim.

The land of fire, an endless sea of lava and flames.

"It's you!"

Hati leaped from the crater, spotting Kaiser.

Its eyes gleamed with wariness.

"You know me?"

"Am I already famous in the Nine Realms?"

Kaiser grinned at Hati.

Kaiser timed his strike perfectly, or Hati would have crashed into Midgard.

"What are you trying to do?"

"Daring to challenge a god?"

Hati's massive forepaw slammed forward.

The ground rumbled.

Only when facing Hati head-on could one grasp the sheer enormity of the Moon-Hunting Wolf.

Its height easily surpassed a kilometer.

Its body length was equally staggering.

"I just want to kill you."

"Instead of struggling to seize the World Tree's seed, I'm more curious about what happens if I kill you and Sköll."

"If the sun and moon aren't devoured, will Ragnarök still come?"

Kaiser didn't hide his intent.

His killing intent was practically overflowing.

"Mortal!"

"You're courting death!"

Hati roared in fury.

As a descendant of the great Fenrir, it had fallen to being hunted by a human.

Its massive body charged toward Kaiser.

Kaiser, clad in his new Libra Gold Cloth, felt his power amplified greatly.

Facing the oncoming Moon-Hunting Wolf, he didn't dodge.

The Zodiac star chart shimmered behind him.

The constellations of the Twelve Zodiacs cycled rapidly, settling on Taurus.

"Titan's Nova!"

Kaiser's Cosmo blazed, meeting Hati's charge head-on.

The terrifying force of Titan's Nova, capable of shaking mountains, struck Hati's colossal frame. The moon-chasing beast let out a muffled roar like rolling thunder.

Its kilometer-long body was ripped from the ground by this brutal, purely physical strike.

Like a black mountain hurled by a god's hand, it flew uncontrollably toward the horizon.

Then came the fall. A heavy, devastating crash.

"Boom!!!"

The earth groaned deeply, like a dying beast.

From Hati's impact point, a visible shockwave carried millions of tons of earth and stone, spreading outward like a raging tsunami.

The ground tore apart, massive cracks snaking out like lightning, their depths unfathomable.

The entire area became a massive crater in an instant.

Yet, amidst this destructive wave of earth and stone, another power rose, eerily intermingled.

A cold, flowing silver light.

It wasn't ordinary moonlight.

It was the lunar essence Hati had chased and consumed for eons. The humiliation of being struck and sent crashing ignited its ancient ferocity.

Shattered lunar essence poured from the crater like viscous mercury, flooding the ravaged land.

Where this liquid moonlight passed, soil, rock, and even air made a "crackling" Sound as they froze instantly.

Even Muspelheim's fiery ground couldn't withstand this force.

A hard, icy silver frost coated the surface, emanating a chill that froze the soul.

At the crater's center, Hati rose slowly.

Its jet-black fur was now coated with an even denser, viscous layer of liquid lunar essence, like a flowing silver-black armor.

Its massive head hung low, a suppressed growl like grinding ancient ice rumbling from its throat.

Its wolf eyes had become two swirling miniature black holes, devouring all light, locked onto the tiny figure radiating sun-like brilliance in the distance.

"Mere mortal!!"

Hati's voice was no longer an angry roar but a curse from the abyss's icy depths, each syllable carrying soul-freezing power.

"Witness the majesty of a divine beast!"

It threw its head back, letting out a long, space-shattering howl toward the moon hanging high in Asgard's sky.

"Awooo!"

The howl struck the fabric of space like an invisible hammer.

The sky twisted violently!

The moon, once glowing with clear light, was suddenly consumed by a thick, blood-like crimson shadow.

A blood-red lunar eclipse enveloped the sky under Hati's summons!

The liquid lunar essence on the ground gained life, surging upward and condensing.

The air grew thick as a swamp, suffocatingly heavy.

Countless distorted silver wolf shades, formed from pure moonlight, emerged silently from the viscous lunar mist. They had no substance.

Only cold malice and sharp claws, rushing at Kaiser like a silver flood from all directions.

The icy lunar eclipse domain had formed, intent on freezing and tearing this arrogant mortal apart.

"It can use the moon to create a domain?"

Kaiser's voice cut through the viscous lunar essence and the shrieks of countless wolf shades.

His new Libra Gold Cloth erupted with golden flames brighter than the sun!

Pure Cosmo energy exploded like a golden volcano, forming an unbreakable golden force field around him.

The moonlight wolf shades that lunged at him shattered like fragile ice against red-hot iron, evaporating with hissing wails.

Not a trace remained.

"Buzz!"

His golden Cosmo surged.

The vast, profound Zodiac star chart behind him, bearing the might of the Twelve Zodiacs, lit up.

The Libra symbol shone like a star.

Twelve golden weapon phantoms, each with earth-shattering power, appeared around Kaiser.

Each radiated pure golden light, exuding an aura that made even gods take notice.

These were the new golden weapons, more powerful than ever!

They hovered silently, like an arsenal guarding a deity, their edges aimed at the giant wolf under the blood-red moon.

Kaiser's divine vision locked onto the wolf below, searching for its weakness.

His right hand clenched, and the golden sacred sword, symbolizing cutting power, crossed space instantly, landing firmly in his grip!

The moment the hilt met his palm, a clear, resonant clang of metal rang out, as if a sleeping divine artifact had awakened.

Without hesitation, Kaiser gripped the sword with both hands.

Facing the viscous lunar eclipse domain teeming with wolf shades and the mountain-like wolf at its center, he poured his burning Cosmo into the blade and swung.

"Excalibur!"

The golden sword light tore through the blood-red night.

It was no longer mere sword light but a golden torrent of pure destructive will and cutting laws, piercing the heavens and earth.

Where it passed, the viscous lunar essence evaporated, carving a massive vacuum channel. The lunging wolf shades vanished without even a wail.

Space itself groaned under the strain, a jagged scar torn open by the unstoppable sword light!

The Nine Realms' space was far less resilient than the gods' realm.

The sword light had one target.

Hati's mountain-sized wolf head!

"Roar!"

The black holes in Hati's pupils contracted sharply.

It sensed the terrifying sharpness in the golden sword light, a threat to its very life!

Not brute force, but a severance at the level of universal laws!

Without hesitation, its massive body moved with speed belying its size, dodging to the side.

"Sizzle!"

The golden sword light grazed the edge of Hati's head, cutting like a hot knife through solidified fat.

A chunk of black fur coated in viscous lunar essence, along with the god-iron-like muscle beneath, was sliced clean off!

The wound was deep, bone visible, the edges smooth as a mirror, reeking of scorched heat.

Strangely, no crimson blood sprayed. Instead, countless shimmering silver star-dust particles erupted.

It was the lunar essence, shattered and annihilated by the sacred sword's power…
