At the stadium.
Jino was deep in thought when Clark curiously asked, "What are you going to do?"
"It's simple, Clark."
Jino snapped his fingers, a smile returning to his face. "Since this person used my appearance to rob, it means he's seen me."
"I usually only move between Luthor Manor and the school."
"Excluding the former, the answer is simple: the person impersonating me is someone from the school."
Clark suddenly understood. "Like Jeremy, that person also awakened a Superpower?"
"Exactly."
Jino gently put an arm around Clark's shoulder, then pressed Clark's head to look at the wall to their right. The young man whispered, "Hold your breath, focus. What do you see?"
Clark instinctively followed Jino's guidance, taking a deep breath and focusing.
His pupils contracted. As his vision zoomed in, Clark found his gaze passing through the wall, and the scene inside was completely unobstructed.
It was the ladies' changing room, where many youthful and beautiful girls, shaking their wet long hair, were wearing various kinds of lingerie. Their long legs and S-shaped figures left Clark dumbfounded.
His goddess, Lana Lang, wrapped in a bath towel, revealed her beautiful figure. "Excuse me."
The girl walked around a classmate, smiling as she headed to her locker.
Then, Lana slowly removed her bath towel.
As the towel slid down, Clark could no longer suppress the corners of his mouth.
His lips curved upward, gradually revealing two rows of pearly white teeth.
"Nice view?" Jino's laughter sounded in his ear.
Clark's expression froze. He forcibly turned his head, staring at Jino righteously. "Jino, that's immoral!"
Even though such a scene was tempting, the kind-hearted Clark decided to control his gaze, not looking more than he should.
"You didn't say that when you were looking just now." Jino chuckled, patting Clark's shoulder. "This is my method—using my ability to find that guy."
Ding-a-ling!
The school bell rang. Jino released Clark and walked out of the stadium on his own.
"Wait, Jino, I still think doing this is..."
Clark began his lecturing again as the two walked side by side.
After some time, Jino and Clark had practically searched the entire campus.
They had checked almost all the students from first to fourth year, but still hadn't found their target.
Clark questioned, "Perhaps we made a mistake? Maybe the target is someone outside of school?"
"No, I think the target is definitely someone from the campus, and it's very likely we've even met them." Jino stroked his chin. "If you suddenly came into a windfall, would you have the mind to attend class?"
Clark imagined the scenario in his head: if he got a million dollars, the first thing he'd probably do is share the news with his parents and then celebrate for a day and a night.
Jino shrugged, pointing to the second floor above them. "I need to go to the principal's office and check who wasn't here today."
The two arrived at the principal's office. After explaining their purpose to the principal, the white principal enthusiastically gave Jino the list of students who had taken leave that day, a total of eighteen people.
Leaving the principal's office, Jino glanced at the list, using a ballpoint pen to cross out some names on the paper.
A moment later.
"Excluding those who are injured, hospitalized, or on personal leave, only these four remain."
Jino held up the list in his hand, his gaze falling on four names:
"Marco, Rod, Jenny, Tina."
Clark tilted his head, looking at the names on the list. "Which one do you think is the target?"
"Uh, if I had to choose, I'd say Tina." Clark said seriously, "This girl is a huge fan of Lana Lang."
"From her style of dress to her tone of voice, Tina tries her best to imitate Lana, wanting to become a popular girl at school."
In the corridor not far away, Lana Lang, who was tying her hair, also saw the two.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about?"
Lana walked up to them, looking at them curiously. She noticed that when Clark saw her, his eyes seemed to dart away.
"Uh, nothing."
Clark scratched his cheek, glancing at Jino, who gave Clark a reassuring look.
Lana narrowed her eyes slightly. She noticed that Clark always scratched his cheek when he felt guilty.
Jino held out his hand, giving Lana a piece of paper. "Do you know where Tina lives?"
Smallville.
Vroom.
The SUV stopped in front of an antique shop.
Antiques hold collectible value, and there are people in every country who work in this field.
"This is Tina's house."
Lana pushed open the car door and stepped out, her expression complex as she looked at the antique shop before them.
Honestly, having someone imitate her was quite troubling for Lana.
The group pushed open the antique shop door, and the wind chimes above rang with a "ding-dong" sound.
It was a moderately sized shop, with various antique collections neatly arranged all around.
Jino even spotted a white jade Guanyin Buddha statue on one of the shelves.
"Hey, can I help you?"
Tina's mother, a petite woman, smiled and walked out from a side door, approaching the three of them.
From the moment the woman appeared to when she stood behind the counter, Jino keenly noticed her repeatedly glancing at him and Clark, at least dozens of times. Her eyes darted around, and her expression seemed slightly nervous. This woman...
Lana smiled, stating their purpose:
"Hello, Mrs. Loren, we're Tina's classmates. Tina didn't come to class today, so we came to check on her."
"Oh, you, you mean Tina?" Mrs. Loren gave an awkward laugh. "She went to her grandmother's house today."
"Perhaps you could come back tomorrow?"
"Mrs. Loren, you have so many antiques here?" Jino interrupted the woman, walking over to an antique in the corner. "Could you tell me about this antique? I quite like it."
"Uh, heh heh, that item isn't for sale, I'm sorry, you really must go." Mrs. Loren rubbed her chest, saying, "I need to go for a medical check-up soon, so..."
With things practically spelled out, the group couldn't just linger. The three of them left the antique shop.
Sitting in Clark's SUV, Lana said with some confusion, "Mrs. Loren seemed very nervous?"
It wasn't just Jino who noticed Mrs. Loren's unusual behavior; Lana also picked up on the woman's strangeness.
Clark agreed, "Yeah, it's weird. Running an antique shop but not selling antiques, just trying to rush us out."
Jino turned his head to look at the antique shop.
His sharp gaze pierced through the shop door, passing through the antiques, and landed on Mrs. Loren.
An old woman in her forties, yet wearing black lace underwear—that was too ridiculous.
"It seems it's confirmed."
Jino thought to himself, activating his Superpower again. Through the flesh and blood meridians, a greenish skeleton appeared in the young man's pupils.
A smile curled on Jino's lips: "Found you!"
"Tina Loren."
