Kai faced The man posing as Tenchi who Kai knew was actually mizuki because Tenchi never used fuma shuriken.
Just like Kai Tenchi was a Taijutsu/Kenjutsu fighter, So that's how Kai knew this guy was a fake it also didn't help that as a transmigrated soul Kai had the knowledge of the Naruto-verse and knew exactly how much of a sleeze mizuki was.
" Heh, It seems the jig is up," said the fake tenchi as he Dispelled the Hengè, Revealing mizuki's true visage.
Kai gripped his Venom's fang Dagger as he assumed a standard knife fighting stance using an Ice-pick grip.
Mizuki drew his Kunai and attacked Kai with a lunging stab.
Kai parried it with his Venom's fang Dagger and delivered a back fist to Mizuki's temple stunning mizuki momentarily Kai attempted to stab mizuki but mizuki defended with a reversed handed gard and followed through with a left short uppercut.
Kai used a Rengoku-Geri to knock mizuki backwards before going for a burning blow, To the four cardinal points of mizuki's torso, but mizuki vanished revealing he had performed the Substitution jutsu.
Kai suddenly turned and dodged mizuki's stab from behind before mizuki backflipped away and threw his fuma shuriken, Kai was ready for mizuki to throw his fuma shuriken and Kai performed an extremely close Dodge and appeared from behind mizuki delivering a stab to mizuki's kidney before looping his arm around mizuki's neck and slitting his throat while snapping mizuki's neck.
Mizuki lay dead on the ground as Kai walked away.
Just then Iruka arrived to find that Kai had killed Mizuki.
" Did you do this?" Asked Iruka.
" It was self defense, He was posing as Tenchi to try and kill me," said Kai.
" ...I see, normally I would question you, but seeing that you're still an academy student and mizuki is a Chūnin, I will take your word for it," said Iruka.
Kai sighed.
" Kai-Kun, You're not in trouble," said Hiruzen who had watched the ordeal from his orb.
Kai was surprised, normally He would've been questioned for killing his instructor, However Hiruzen and Iruka seemed to be on his side so he decided to tell them the truth about the whole ordeal.
" I see...So he posed as your master and tried to steal your dagger, then when that didn't work he attacked you," said Hiruzen.
" May we see your dagger," asked Iruka.
Kai showed them his Kasaka Venom's Fang Dagger.
" I see, it is a very pretty dagger," said Iruka.
Hiruzen noticed that the blade has a bit of a poisonous scent to it.
" Ah, the scent is because I crafted it from the fang of a large venomous snake, about the size of a house," Kai explained not necessarily a lie but not exactly the truth.
" I see, Very well then, Iruka please give him his dagger back," and as the Hokage requested Iruka returned the Dagger to Kai.
" By the way Kai, Graduation is coming in a few weeks, I Hope you're ready," asked the elder Sarutobi.

The entire academy was about to take the Graduation Exams.
Kai and Naruto alongside Yoshiko, Himiko, and Hinata were all prepared for the exams.
Naruto went after Sasuke and Sakura like in cannon Naruto pulled the sexy Jutsu stunt but unlike in Canon Naruto was able to create 4 successful shadow clones.
When Iruka heard the name shadow clone he turned a bit pale but decided to allow Naruto to pass since technically it was a clone jutsu.

He ignored the calls for certain teams since he didn't know any of them personally.
" Now team 14, Yoshiko Senju, Himiko Hyuga, and Kai Heishin!" Said The instructor, " your Sensei is waiting for you in the Hokage manor,"
The group made their way to the Hokage manor where they were introduced to a beautiful woman with deep purple hair and a healthy build she was dressed in a pink kimono with a brown leather breastplate over her body, her purple hair was tied in a long ponytail in Hime style fashion she smiled at us.
" My aunt!" Said Yoshiko in astonishment.
Yoshiko was suddenly tackled in a hug.
" Oh little Yoshiko-chan you've finally become a genin," said The woman.
" Um excuse me ma'am are you out Sensei by any chance?" Kai asked her.

' at least she didn't say Drinking sake and gambling,' Kai/Himiko/Ayeka thought in chorus.
" And as for my dream, It is to become an even greater medic in than my mother and marry Kai-kun, have 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a house," said Yoshiko.
Kai blushed even harder.
" Alright then let us assess your abilities," said Ayeka.
She suddenly called forth a ball of energy to her hand gripping it and creating a Energy sword.
" that's ryoko's power!?" Kai said internally.
Kai quickly drew his Gerbera Straight while making a snake hand seal to before generating a stream of golden lightning around his sword.
He quickly parried her energy sword as she smirked.
" Let us see what you have the ability to do," she said.
Kai dodged her left hook by backflipping away before teleporting via speed and delivering a powerful 450 roundhouse kick aimed at Ayeka's head, only for Ayaka defend against it with an energy guard, before turning to deliver a powerful punch to Kai creating a shockwave.
Kai was knocked backwards.
Yoshiko came down from the sky with an axe kick that Created an explosion as Ayeka managed to dodge it at the last second only for Himiko to come in, Ayeka swung her sword at Himiko who ducked under it and countered with a rising heel kick before turning mid air and coming down with a diving heel spike.
Kai came back attacking Ayeka with a Ryūtsuisen delivering an airborne downward strike with his sword causing Ayeka to guard only for two more Kai's to cross blades with hers trapping her sword while another Kai got her in a Full Nelson-hold.
" Now all together!" Called the real Kai and suddenly Yoshiko came at Ayeka with a Dashing left straight, and Himiko attacked Ayeka with a spiral palm spike that released a blue aura that formed a water spout effect.
" That's Enough!" Ayeka shouted as she released a powerful aura burst that destroyed Kai's shadow clones and knocked the three Genin backwards.
"oh...yeah, I forgot she could do that," Kai groaned internally.
" You three have proven yourself worthy Of passing my test, now you have become true Genin and you are now under my care," said Ayeka, " now let's go out for ramen," said Ayeka.
When we arrived at the ramen stand, I found Naruto with both Sakura and Sasuke.
Naruto had taken my advice and gotten to know his teammates better.
I explained that my Sensei had a special bloodline called energy release.
" Wow, that's cool, Our Sensei hasn't tested us yet but we'll be ready," said Naruto.
" I'm sure you will," Kai replied.
" Your lucky, Yoshiko, I got put on a team with that blockhead Naruto and my dream boy," said Sakura.
" You remember what happened at that sparring match 6 months ago, don't push your luck," said Kai.
Sakura blushed while Yoshiko and Himiko had to stiffen a giggle.

" Well I wouldn't want to see someone after they violated my rights," said Hidzumè.
" HIDZUMÈ!" Said Yoshiko in shock.
" ... Anyways, I hope you three have a good workout oh and do yourselves a favor eat a good breakfast tomorrow," Kai said.
" But Kakashi Sensei said to not eat breakfast," said Sakura.
" Silly rabbit tricks are for kids, He wants you at your weakest so of course he told you that you shouldn't eat breakfast; it's a psychological tactic," Kai explained.
" ...Oh...I see," said the pinkette finally realizing it.
" Anyways, I hope you guys have a good exercise," said Kai as he paid his tab.

Kai ate at Ichiraku Ramen with his father and Naruto.
" Really, a bodyguard mission?" Asked Naruto.
" Yep, apparently the Daimyo's son has spotted suspicious figures following him," said Kai.
" Since your a ninja know, you won't need my permission to go on a mission, however I expect you to let me know when you do, before you are a ninja, you are my child," said Iga.

The next day Kai arrived he had several supplies in storage seals and several potions in his inventory, at his right hip he carried his Gerbera Straight and in a Holster on his left hip he carried the Kasaka's Venom Fang.

After about 2 days the team came upon the capital however two individuals jumped them at that moment.

" These woman can kick your ass from here to Kingdom come," said Kai.
The two men came at the group but to their surprise the girls countered their aggressors attacks.
Himiko redirected the knife strikes of the bandit who attacked her as a chakra based wind follows her hands she counted the man's attack with a powerful leopard paw blow to the man's chest returning all the force of his attack shattering his chest.
Yoshiko ducked under the second highway man's knife and delivered a powerful left hook that blew the man halfway across the county the man cried out in surprise, " holy shit!" Swore.
The leader appeared he was a big burly man and he tried to attack Ayeka only for Ayeka to generate a barrier and then to deliver her patented bomb punch to his gut causing a shockwave to erupt from the impact.
The man was launched 30 stories into the air,
' Damn she launched him at least 99 meters into the air,' I thought to myself.
" Why didn't you fight Kai?" Asked Yoshiko.
" Because I wanted you ladies to prove you weren't ones to horse around with," Kai said with a easygoing smile.
The trio just smirked confidently, " Aw, we aren't that great," they bragged playfully.
As the four of them entered the capital They wound up running into a small hooded girl who almost bumped into Kai only for Kai to move so fast he left an afterimage.
" Listen kid, You can't just go around picking people's pockets," Kai said grabbing his knife that she tried to take from him.
The girl gasped before running off.
Kai and the group arrived at the capital building and they were introduced to the Daimyo's son.
" Chusuke, come great your new bodyguards," said a fat woman who was hugging a cat to death
A young boy with a lean build and a handsome face appeared he looked like he was some sort of child model.
" These are my new bodyguards, three bimbos and a doofus," said the boy.
Yoshiko's eye twitched at that remark.
Kai smirked and vanished before reappearing infront of the boy with a fist pressed into his chin applying pressure to his chin positioned for an Uppercut.
" Just so you know, my teammates are equally impressive," said Kai, " and when you meet a stranger, mind your Manners, because we can cancel our contract as we see fit," said Kai and he let the boy go.
"...Okay," he said surrendering all of his former bravado.
A few moments later Kai and his friends were shown the spots where the assassins were last spotted.
Kai was given the role of the boys protector since Ayeka figured the three bandits from before were sent to test their skills and since Kai hadn't fought or shown his skills they wouldn't be aware of his strengths.
Kai summoned Burai.
" I want you to keep an eye on the lad and protect him whenever I can't, slip got it," I said and the specter slipped into the young prince's shadow.
As the two boys were sent to the prince's school Kai made note of two people watching from the rafters.
Kai and the Prince walked to the school where Kai saw the kids had been practicing calligraphy and studying literature, there was also a class where they were practicing Kendo.
Kai was walking Chusuke through the gate whenever a group of boys stopped them.
He had a mischievous grin, " well if it isn't Chusuke, and who's your friend," the leader of the boys a kid with tanned skin and brown hair that was a bright shade of copper.
" Hey asshole introduce yourself first," said Kai.
This earned a snicker from the boys, " my name is Ryuuto Takeba, my father is the bodyguard of the daimyo," he said.
Kai rolled his eyes, " big whoop," he said and he was about to stroll along.
" Wait a minute," the boy said grabbing Kai's shoulder.
" How attached to that hand are you?" Asked Kai with a heavy air of malice in his voice.
" Eh," he asked.
" On a scale of one to ten how much do you value the hand grabbing my shoulder?" Kai explained himself clearly annoyed by the boys antics.
" Uh, i'd say ten," he said before a sickening sound of 'Crack!' Was heard amongst the school yard and Ryuuto was heard screaming bloody murder as Kai had dislocated the boys wrist.
" I suggest you apologize for grabbing me and for all the times you bullied Chusuke," said Kai with a demanding voice as his eyes glowed a with a feint blue light.
" Wah, He broke my hand, ahhhh," the bully cried.
The two boys next to Ryuuto tried to attack Kai, However Kai had them held at knife-point within a fraction of a second.
" Just who the hell are you?" Asked the boys fearfully.
" I'm a Shinobi of the leaf, Chusuke's bodyguard, and the heir to the name Hitokiri Battosai, my name is Kai Heishin, the man who's going to be the strongest ninja in the world, and who will skin you alive if you don't get out of my sight, Now Scram!" Said Kai.
The boys scrambled to get away, and Kai holstered his Dagger.
