Kai arrived at the bridge. Watching the workers, he used his shadow clones to help them while also helping him increase his chakra capacity level. He also did the tree-walking exercises to help increase his chakra control level.
Kai knew that his strength would still increase even after level 100 due to the fact that the power he had wasn't the system itself but the strength of Ashborn's absolute power, and even then he also had his own natural strength and cultivation he had to work with. While his system was part of his abilities, it wasn't his only source of power; it just helped him keep track of his powers and abilities and gave him a rough estimate of his overall powers, and it also reset his level every time he got a rank or job-class change, but only his level, not any of his abilities or his status. meaning he could level up infinitely. Right now he was still a genin and was currently at level 50, halfway to the level cap of his rank. When he gets to that level cap, he'll probably be stronger than pre-timeskip. Gaara Once he obtains the rank of Genin or a new job class that isn't just linked to his systems abilities, Kai can reset his level to level 1 but keep all his powers, skills, stats, techniques, and other abilities. This basically allowed him to infinitely grow stronger, which, by the events of Boruto, should make him beyond even The power of Shibai Ōtsusuki, and hopefully one of his children would obtain the abilities of the monarch of transcendence and obtain the abilities to match if not absolutely destroy the god of the Ōtsusuki who would threaten the world. That would be Kai's last bet if the enemy was stronger than he expected them to be, especially if Shibai was truly omnipotent, but then again, he needed to reincarnate every 1000 years, so he doubted that was the case because true omnipotent beings don't die.
Kai finished the last amount of work before he dispelled his clones. He used his clones instead of his shadows because of three benefits: one, it helped his cultivation; two, it kept his shadows a secret; and three, it allowed him to learn quicker and adapt astutely to active combat, which is why it is considered the earliest broken ability in modern shonen anime. Kai went to the marsh, where he decided to get in some kata practice. Before the big battle, going over the forms of the Kage-Ken and the Jishin-Seiryuu-ken which were based on the real life katas of Shotokan and Tang-Soo-Doo and Chen style Tai-chi while there were other styles like it his was the only style that while naturally making use of water release could also be used with other elements however just like water release users normally Accel at water and are adept at using lightning and wind release while being weaker when using fire and Earth Release, Kai is stronger in lightning Jutsu but he doesn't have any set affinity due to his role as the Shadow monarch and thanks Courage of the weaks ability to nullify any debuff meaning that Kai not only did Kai not have an affinity, he had all affinities it also meant that any weakness or fatal injury didn't effect him in any way.
Kai demonstrated an exceptional skill in
Kage-ken's mastery of the fundamentals was strong, but also his skill in the more advanced movements was also exceptional, even though he preferred to use the more fundamental movements, as it made it easier for him to intercept and counter an enemy attack.
Kai, however, wasn't one to refrain from fancy footwork and aerial combat.
A few hours later Kai returned and decided to relax in the bridge builder's house.
As mentioned, Kai had the courage of the weak skill, which basically granted him immunity to any ailment, whether it be physical or spiritual; as a result, he never suffered from fatigue. However, he still had to mind his hit points, and Kai also still rested because he had to hide his abilities for now, and he had to keep up the act of being a normal genin even though he was already beyond the normal standard. Kai could still sleep if he willed it, and it also granted him a stamina boost for the rest of the day if he got more than an hour's worth of rest.
An hour before dawn Kai awakened and began doing his daily quest of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10k run. A lot of people would think such a basic workout would prove fruitless at Kai's current level; however, here's the catch. Kai was doing it using the same weights that Rock Lee used and was also doing it on one finger, and while balancing on a cane in the marsh, he got the idea from an old 90s anime called Yu Yu Hakusho, mostly from a flashback in the Dark Tournament arc.
Kai finished up just before the others woke, and he got a shower.
The other Genin and fellow Jōnin, except for Naruto, had gathered around the table.
"Where's Naruto?" Asked Yoshiko.
"He's still resting in his room; normally you would want to wake someone up, but Naruto has a particular habit in his sleep," said Kai.
"Does he flatulate?" asked Himiko.
"Yoshiko That's highly inappropriate," said Ayeka.
"No, it's worse than that. When Naruto sleeps, his body naturally prepares for an attack if he senses a threat. If he doesn't wake up, he'll fight you while he's asleep," said Kai.
"Well, he's most familiar with you, Kai. How about you wake him up?" Asked Kakashi.
"You guys go ahead; I'll wake him up," said Kai.
The group sunshine-d to the bridge while Kai waited for a moment before Naruto yelled out loud, and he rushed downstairs while half-dressed before grabbing toast and leaving. Kai followed but not before leaving Morpheus behind in secret.
A few moments after they left, two Ronin broke into the house and captured Tsunami; however, at that moment, Inari made a decision that would make him a man and was about to give his life for his mother before Naruto rescued him, and Kai appeared in the Ronin's peripherals, causing the swordsman holding Tsunami to loosen his hold on her, allowing Kai to land a sharp Rengoku-Geri to the man's jaw, sending him skyrocketing out of the house.
"What the F—" the second swordsman was about to curse before Morpheus appeared out of Tsunami's shadow and stabbed the swordsman through the heart.
"You're not worth the effort; enjoy hell, you dirty rotten bastard," said Kai.
"Kai, what the hell is that?" asked Naruto, pointing to Morpheus.
"His name is Morpheus, and he's a summon I can use connected to a sort of bloodline only I have," said Kai.
"So what does it do?" asked Naruto.
"Basically I can redirect the souls of fallen enemies, and depending on their strength or their will, their power could be comparable to an S-rank ninja," said Kai.
"What's it called?" Asked Naruto.
"It's called Arise, but it only works if I want the person as a summon or if the fallen enemy allows me to raise them, depending on if they're stronger or have a lingering will," said Kai.
"How busted is that?" said Naruto. "You basically have an army without needing to use shadow clones." The blonde said this while they were dashing towards the bridge. Fortunately, they had been using the treetops as a way to make the run less time-consuming.
A few seconds later, Naruto and Kai arrived just before the battle was about to begin.
"Hmm, so it seems the entire group is with you. Judging by the fact I have yet to encounter the boy with dark hair, I'm guessing he's the male member of the Special Assault Squad led by Ayeka. Unfortunately, it's only just Haku and I, and I already have an engagement with Kakashi, but I'm willing to allow the Maiden of the Misaki clan to join us, but Haku can only handle two at once, meaning that four of you are going to have to sit this out," said Zabuza.

The sound of silence amplified by crickets chirping made the statement even more
"Tough crows, you're right. I'm kidding," he said. Then he made a hand seal and summoned two Sui-Bunshin/Water Clones to face us.
"Word of advice: those things have a quarter of the strength of the real thing, so don't take them lightly," said Kai to his teammates and Sakura.
"What do you plan on doing?" asked the pinkette.
"I'm taking on one clone. Sakura, stay with the bridge builder, Himiko, and Yoshiko. Go wild," said Kai.
The two girls gained slasher grins.
Kai faced the water clone.
"I'm going to test my limits on you, pal," said Kai.
He then assumed his Kage-ken fighting stance. Drawing into a high full horse stance before shifting into a high front horse stance, holding one hand at his hip and one hand with the palm facing the enemy while his chakra took the form of red and gold lighting (imagine Jin Kazama's Omen stance from Tekken). "You plan on fighting me with Taijutsu, boy," said the water clone. "Don't patronize me!" He shouted as he came at Kai with his great sword in tow, aiming to cleave the boy's head off. However, he wasn't aware that, from Kai's view, this guy, while moving at a normal pace, was still moving slower than he normally would as he came near the boy with his sword ready to strike. Kai preemptively countered with a leaping double kick, which hit the man in both his sword hand and his chin from their Kai performed a corkscrew roundhouse kick to the man's jaw before ending his combination with an overhead flying scissor kick.

"Daaamn!" The three girls watching the exchange exclaimed that even the original Zabuza and the other water clone were surprised by that flawless execution of a Taijutsu combination.
"Kage-ken: Guren-Rasen-Guntou/Shadow Fist: Crimson-Lotus Spiral-Saber," shouted Kai.
The blows were enough to reduce the chakra of the clone down to half their power before the clone tried to fight defensively and use a fuma shuriken. Kai used his sprint ability to increase his speed by 30% and slid underneath the giant star-shaped flying guillotine before delivering a powerful sliding stomp to the side of the clone's oblique popliteal ligament (the area between the kneecap and calf), which shattered the water clone's lead leg before Kai came up and performed a fast flying 450 roundhouse kick.
"Kage-ken: Kuroryuu-Shippu-Geri/Black-Dragon Gale Kick!" He shouted. The blow caused the clone to lose his sword. It didn't help that each of Kai's blows had a small burst of lightning released to them before Kai kicked the clone in the gut with a toe kick as he regained his balance. Kai delivered a corkscrew roundhouse kick to the clone's head, knocking him backwards, but the clone was knocked towards the edge of his sword; however, he was going too fast and was cleaved in half by his own blade.
Kai smirked.
The other clone wasn't faring any better due to the tag team of Yoshiko and Himiko. Yoshiko, using her chakra-enhanced strength and her abilities she inherited from her father, delivered a powerful Meteor jab to the clone's body, causing parts of his body to be blown away. Meanwhile, Himiko swiftly took the clone down with an arm lock and outside leg sweep, pulling the arm out of joint and slashing the Achilles tendons with her ankle before tossing him to the ground like tossing a discus.
The clone was on its knees before Yoshiko came from above and performed a flying heel drop that created a shockwave, "Heavenly Foot of Pain!" Shouted Yoshiko.
That name caught the real Zabuza's attention, but he was too focused on dealing with Kakashi and Ayeka.
"That girl just used the Slug-sanin's secret technique, and judging by her appearance, there is no doubt about it," said Zabuza. "That's the daughter of Tsunadé Senju and Tenchi Misaki, the heir of the two royal families of Konoha," said Zabuza.
"Himiko, help Naruto and Sasuke," said Kai.
Himiko shone into the crystal ice mirrors right as Haku launched his crystal ice needles, only for them to be repelled by Himiko's Taikyoku-shou-Seiku-Shou and Naruto's Ryūsui-Gansai-Ken: Ryūsui-jin/water stream. Rock Smash Fist: water stream encampment, the two deflecting the attacks in a void and stream of crane beaks and Trigram hands.
Haku was surprised, then he realized that Himiko was a Hyuga and then noticed the similarities between Naruto's current Taijutsu and Himiko's form of gentle fist before he attempted to strike at Himiko only to find himself being knocked backwards by Naruto. He sprang up and delivered a spinning roundhouse kick to the back of Haku's head before dropping into a spinning low kick. The move caused Haku to yelp as he was taken down. Himiko followed up Naruto's attack with a flying stomp to the ground, which was too fast for Haku to react to in time. Even with Haku creating his ice barrier, it wasn't strong enough to protect him.
Kakashi and Ayeka were Dunking it out as well; Zabuza's attempts at cutting Ayeka were futile due to her barrier and As Ayeka delivered a switch up combination feinting at the head before striking the body and vice versa her switch ups caused Zabuza to be unaware of where to Gaurd before Ayeka threw what appeared to be a low kick which he attempted to check with his foot only to be clocked upside the head as Ayeka had feinted a low kick to allow her to land a question mark kick to Zabuza's head before Zabuza made a hand seal, " Suitōn: Sūiryuu-Dan/ Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet," he shouted as a large dragon made of water came from above however before it could make an impact Kai counted the attack with a water Jutsu of his own spinning like a vortex as his body was enveloped by a sphere of water he became a human bullet as he drilled through the water dragon using his own head as the Spearhead of his attack.

"Suitōn: Sūiryuu-rasen!" He shouted as he drilled through the dragon, absorbing its power before converting it into a chakra-powered punch as he came down upon Zabuza, driving his fist into the ground at Zabuza's feet, creating an explosion of lightning and energy as he shouted, "Inazuma-Bakuretsu/Lightning Eruption!" The blow created a massive explosion around the ground; surprisingly, the attack only did damage to Zabuza's body.
Zabuza tried to capitalize on the attack on Kai, only for Kai to kick him in the groin with a rising back turn kick before performing a leaping roundhouse kick to the back of Zabuza's neck, "Uzumaki-ryu: Ghetto Destroyer!" He shouted, "Masaki-Ryu: Bakudan-Ken!" The Cranium kick knocked him backwards before Ayeka landed a powerful flying punch that created an explosion. "Shouted Ayeka," shouted the blow that knocked Zabuza backwards. Stumbling, the last thing Zabuza heard was the sound of birds chirping as Kakashi said, "I'll finish this...with my own original technique, Raikiri!" He shouted and drove his lightning-coated palm into the chest of...Haku.
Kai cursed; he was so caught up in his own battle that he failed to notice Haku still trying to protect Zabuza.
"Haku..." said Zabuza in shock.
"I wanted...to make you...proud of me...Zabuza," said Haku.
Suddenly the group heard the laughing of a madman.
"So the once proud Zabuza fell to a group of prepubescent boys and a group of bitches," said Gato.

"Fuck you say to us, you little shit!" Naruto and Kai both cursed in an outburst, taking everyone by surprise, even Kakashi, and that was saying something since he has already been through some rough shit.
"You think that having numbers will help you, but you're dead wrong," said Naruto and Kai, both of whom created multiple shadow clones. "We got numbers as well," said Naruto. Kai drew the Gerbera Straight and smirked. "I'm going to enjoy this," he said as his other clones drew their daggers.
Ayeka and Yoshiko loosened their shoulders while Himiko grabbed her weapons; her mother left her a pair of Deer Horn Knives.
"Sakura, stay with Tazuna-san; I'm going to deal with Zabuza," said Kakashi.
"No need," said Zabuza.
"I know that I'm not worthy to stand by Haku's side in heaven. I've treated him like a tool, but even I have a heart, and even though I hate to admit it, he was like a son to me," said Zabuza. He then placed a kunai in his mouth and rushed Gato in a wild frenzy.
Kai cut down the soldiers who would get in Zabuza's way; even as a last request, Zabuza still has the right to do what's right at least once.
Zabuza drove his kunai into Gato's heart.
Kai, from that point it became a massacre.
Naruto's clones dealt with the soldiers; one clone kicked a soldier into the sky with a high Sokuto-geri that launched him into the water.
One punk got a taste of the good ole ghetto destroyer, and a lot of soldiers wound up being hit by Naruto's spinning roundhouse kicks before being taken down by the assistance of Yoshiko and Sasukè. As Sasuke landed a combination of crescent kicks on one soldier, Yoshiko used her super strength to knock several men flying with punches that hit them from different angles due to her unique blend of boxing, karate, and brawling arts.
Himiko used her deer horn knives to decapitate and dismember her foes using the hand motions of her style.
Kakashi used his ninja sabers and his Taijutsu based on Escrima and Suntukan. Kai cleaved the heads off his enemies by spamming Sōryūsen. The boy found himself surrounded by enemies—big mistake. As Kai's family's Kenjutsu taught the perfect technique when being surrounded by multiple foes, Kai gripped his sword with both hands and performed a pivot on his right foot as he spun at high speeds, swinging his sword with such force he created an air current as his blade cleaved his enemies through either their backs or the back of their necks, and due to the rare chakra metal the Gerbera straight's blade was made from, the sword cut through the foes effortlessly.
Ayeka used her Uchuu-ton: waikyoku/Cosmic Release: distortion, which created a blast that parted her enemies like the Red Sea before she created a super version of her light sword, which was her plasma sword. Unlike the light sword, which could be used as both an offensive and defensive weapon, the plasma sword had one purpose in life: to cause as much damage as humanly possible.
She proceeded to cut down for after foe.
"Take this Draconic attack!" shouted Naruto as he delivered a blow that unleashed a Chakra dragon in his enemies' direction.
The enemy was defeated within a matter of minutes.
Zabuza's dying body lay near Haku's.
In the midst of the chaos, Kai used a shadow clone to use Arise and raise the two as shadows before sending them to rest in Kai's shadow storage.

From that day the bridge became known as the great Heishin bridge due to the heroic battle of the warriors who fought there to protect their land.
Kai groaned as he strained pushing himself up with the 2000 Ton Keg on his back, after he returned home, Ayeka reported Tenchi of how Kai had single handedly bested a water clone of the S-class Nukenin Zabuza Momochi, Needless to say Kai had earned the nickname of the Wonder Genin.
after Kai finished he was called by Ayeka to the senju compound where the ever polite Sensei handed them a flier.
" Is this...what I think it is?" Asked Kai.
" If you are thinking that its a permission slip to take the Chūnin exams then yes it is," said Ayeka with her ever soft manner of speech.
" Sweetness!" Said Kai.
A few days later Kai and Naruto were hanging out with Himiko and Hinata Kai watched Naruto playing ninja with Hiruzen Sarutobi's grandson Konohamaru.
When suddenly the kid ran into a boy with purple faceplant in a uniform that looked like cat pajamas with a large bundle on his back.
" Hey kid that hurts how about you apologize!" Said the man
" How about you let him go and we won't punt you halfway across the street!" Naruto said.
" What was that punk, so you two must be this kids siblings I can tell because you come from the same seed of the man who spawns idiots," said the man.
Suddenly he saw Naruto with the shadow of death over his eyes looking at him with empty emotionless eyes.

"You got 2 seconds to take that back." Said Naruto.
' apparently Naruto has taken after me a bit to much,' I thought to myself.
" And what if I don't take it back huh, what can you do to the greatest puppet master of the sand kankuro?" Asked The boy now know as kankuro little did notice Naruto was already in position for a perfect Jodan-Rengoku-Geri.

" Omai wa mou shinderu," said Naruto with a flat tone.
" What?" Asked kankuro in shock before he felt what appeared a 2000 pound brick hit his chin as he was launched flying by Naruto's quarter powered thrust kick.
' I see now, he's impersonating kenshiro; I probably shouldn't have let him watch that old anime with me last week,' Kai thought to himself.
" Naruto-Kun just kicked that boy so hard he flew half way across the park," said Hinata.
" When it comes to his loved ones Naruto's power can only be called unstoppable force, and the thing is Naruto was only using a quarter of his strength with that kick," Kai said.
" How could you tell?" Asked Himiko.
" Because last time he kicked someone at full strength they had to pull him out of the nostril of the third Hokage's face on the Hokage monument," Kai explained Flatly.
" Remind me to never piss him off," said A blonde girl who had been with kankuro this entire time.
" Don't worry Naruto and I have an unwritten rule about fighting girls with less than 10% of our full strength," said Kai.
Kankuro walked back albeit he had a fractured jaw.
" I guess I'll have to use the Ant," said Kankuro as he was about to use his puppet before a voice called out to him.
" You know you have some nerve pulling this kinda shit when your a guest in my village," said a voice as they turned to see a beautiful blonde woman with her hair tied in twin tails and one of the biggest busts anyone had ever seen, she was wearing a grey Keikogi with a green Haori and long grey pants her go was held together by a long leather strap probably to keep her breast from pushing it apart.
" Grandma Tsunadé," said Naruto.
" Lady Tsunadé!" Said Hinata/Himiko/Konohamaru.
" Hello Misses Misaki," said Kai as if her grand entrance was a formal greeting.
" Whose this big tittied bimbo," said Kankuro.
This caused every Leaf genin, ( except for Kai of course) to sweat as Kankuro had just broken two of the three unspoken rules about Tsunadé.
One: do not mention Tsunadés breasts, Two: do not call her a bimbo just because she's blonde and buxom.
" What was that you little twirp I couldn't hear you," she said with a dark shadow over her face.
" What are you going to do hag!?"
' shit!' kai swore internally, as kankuro just broke rule number thee: never call Tsunadé old ( unless your Naruto)
Kankuro found out what Tsunadé was going to do as she kicked him so hard that he flew to the outskirts of the village.
" And that's why you need to show some respect," she turned to the blonde girl, " you may be the kazékagé's children but you're in the Kōnōha and while you're here you answer to the Hokage first and me second," said Tsunadé, " understood," she said to her fellow blonde.
" Yes ma'am," Temari squeaked.
Kankuro managed to come back just in time before gaara could arrive.
" You two, get to the meeting place Now," he said sternly.
Hinata, Himiko, Naruto, and Kai regrouped with their teams and went to the academy.
As they entered the academy a loud voice called out.
" KAI HEISHIN!" Kai looked up to see a boy clad in a green Jumpsuit.
" Can I help you?" Asked Kai.
" I Am The Handsome Devil Of the Hidden Leaf My Name Is Rock Lee and I Challenge you," he shouted.
" Eh four out of ten," said Kai.
" What do you mean by that," asked Rock.
" Your ranking on good looks, hell I would say shikamaru looks better than you by at least three points," said Kai with a smirk.
" You bastard don't you dare mock my appearance," he shouted lunging at Kai.
' right according to plan,' Kai thought as Rock Lee feinted a high round house kick into a low sweeper kick, " leaf whirlwind!" He shouted and thought he had taken Kai down as his kick knocked Kai off his feet however Kai fell on his own as right when the kick came near his leg Kai let himself fall to the side and as lee came back up with an attempt at a heel drop Kai landed a powerful Inzui-Giri to Lee's Neck.
" Ghetto Destroyer!" Shouted Kai.
Lee was sent back but came rushing Kai with a powerful roundhouse kick but Kai countered it with a super kick to the chin, " Chin Music!" Shouted Kai.
The kick floored Lee who tumbled across the ground.
Lee came back with a powerful rolling Heel drop only for Kai to step back at the last moment and deliver a toe Kick to Lee's gut before Kai performed a corkscrew roundhouse kick knocking Lee down for good.
" Trouble in paradise!" He Shouted.
The boy came back up and went for what would've been a back turn punch only to find himself caught an inch from the blade edge of the Gerbera straight.
" Cheater!" He said.
" You do Know that I Come from a clan known for Kenjutsu, right?" Asked Kai.
" But this is a-" Lee was about to argue but an even louder voice shouted, " That's enough lee,"
They turned to see a turtle and from it came a man who was like Lee but older and with a more chiseled face.
" You know that to only become stronger a ninja must face an opponent at their best and while It may seem unfair some ninja do fight better with blades than fist," said the man.
" Hai Gai Sensei I'm sorry for being too self centered," said Lee.
