The King of Dragons, Orwlevdis, stood staring at the sky. Beneath him lay the lifeless bodies of two dragons.
"They will pay for this," the Dragon King said.
The entire dragon army burned with rage.
Long ago, when the gods were not corrupted, they were true gods beings loved by the people. In those days, the Sky People descended upon the mountains and encountered the dragons. The dragons were dangerous at first, but over time, the two races became allies.
When Ebony was defeated and the gods fell to corruption, the Dragon King was the first being to oppose them after Ryzen was killed. Suiryu pretended to stand by Orwlevdis's side. Unaware that Suiryu himself had already been corrupted, the Dragon King trusted him.
Together, they went to Ryzen's palace, only to find it engulfed in black flames.
That was when Suiryu betrayed him.
Suiryu's Angel Division ambushed the Dragon King, piercing his massive body with countless spears.
Yet Orwlevdis did not fall. He stood his ground and fought back, shocking Suiryu with his sheer endurance.
Soon after, the Dragon King's army arrived. They overwhelmed Suiryu, and with his reinforcements unable to arrive in time,
Suiryu was forced to retreat.
From that day onward, Orwlevdis hunted Suiryu, seeking to kill him. In response, Suiryu repeatedly struck the dragon army with his Angel Division. The Dragon King could no longer roam the skies freely every god and their armies now stood against him.
Because of the breach within the Sky Fortress, its hidden location was finally revealed to Orwlevdis.
The Dragon King prepared for war.
He commanded ten generals, each wielding a different elemental power and leading their own division. Above them stood a Supreme Commander an elder dragon named Marshall, whose scales were said to be the hardest in existence.
Ten divisions of dragon soldiers followed.
Together, they soared into the sky.
Meanwhile, Metsuju were fighting the Giant Sylphs and the Sylphadrom.
Everyone faced Giant Sylphs, but Grandpa Caesar lunged directly toward the Sylphadrom.
Grandpa Caesar punched the Sylphadrom, releasing immense pressure and violent winds. He followed with another punch this one erupting in flames. The Sylphadrom roared in pain, then fired a deadly energy blast at Grandpa Caesar. He punched straight through it, shattering one of the Sylphadrom's teeth.
The Sylphadrom screamed and fell, vanishing into the clouds.
Suddenly, it struck from above its massive tail slammed into Grandpa Caesar, sending him flying. The Sylphadrom burst out of the sky, unleashing a furious barrage of energy blasts. Grandpa Caesar tanked the attack, but this time he struggled to stand.
The Sylphadrom leapt toward him to finish the assault.
Grandpa Caesar sprang high into the sky and shouted, "Kyle! Oni!"
Ignoring the Giant Sylphs completely, Kyle and Oni joined him midair. All three launched a combined hammer strike directly onto the Sylphadrom's head.
The impact was overwhelming.
The Sylphadrom was knocked unconscious.
With their greatest threat down, they swiftly finished off the five Giant Sylphs.
But suddenly, the Sylphadrom's body began to glow.
It was then revealed that the Sylphadrom was merely a vessel for the Sylph Queen.
She tore through the Sylphadrom's body, her four eyes glowing. Unlike the other sylphs, she was red and possessed wings. She launched a sharp, red, piercing energy attack at Grandpa Caesar.
Having already used his flame ability, Grandpa Caesar was too exhausted to dodge, tank, or counter the attack his age finally catching up to him.
Kyle tried to block it, but he couldn't, though his Transcendent Plate Armor absorbed part of the impact.
Noah drew his shadow blade and prepared for battle.
At the same time, the sylph army arrived filled with elite sylphs and three blue-colored creatures known as Storm Sylphs.
Above the clouds, the dragon army searched for dense cloud formations, preparing to locate and invade the Sky Fortress.
Sky God Suiryu sensed the disturbance and immediately cast a spell. Dense clouds began to spread as massive storm clouds formed, and a thunderstorm started to take shape.
Before the storm could fully develop, Marshall, the Supreme Commander of the dragons, spotted the Sky Fortress. He rushed forward before it could vanish into the clouds.
The Dragon King and the rest of the dragon army remained back, waiting for Marshall's signal. Once he confirmed the fortress's location, they would move in and invade the Sky Fortress.
Meanwhile, Metsuju were struggling against the Sylph Army.
The Sylph Queen alone was holding back Kyle, Oni, and Noah all three at once.
Grandpa Caesar issued commands to Lucy, Ace, and the Tao brothers Rico, Kai, and Akira directing them against the sylph forces.
Then the Storm Sylphs entered the battle.
One Storm Sylph pierced Ace's stomach with its arm. Lucy instantly kicked it away and pulled Ace back, but all three Storm Sylphs surrounded them, gathering energy for a devastating storm attack.
That was when Grandpa Caesar leapt toward them.
But before he could reach Ace, another sylph charged straight at him.
Ace tried to use the technique Grandpa Caesar had taught him during training.
Flashback
"Ace, there are four types of energy in this world.
Normal Energy Most people possess this. It allows the use of elemental powers, physical enhancement, and basic magic.
Dark Energy Noah inherited this energy. It grants access to dark magic.
Light Energy This allows the use of white magic. With it, one can transform, bless, use advanced physical enhancement, summon divine beasts, and perform divine healing.
Spectrum Energy An advanced form of normal energy. Unlike normal energy, which is blue, or dark and light energy, which are black and white, Spectrum Energy manifests in multiple colors red, blue, and green. It is inherited, but extremely difficult to control. Usually, it awakens only when the user is ready."
Ace's body began to levitate, releasing immense energy. His wounds rapidly healed. He descended and landed steadily.
He hadn't fully awakened Spectrum Energy only a fraction flowed through his veins.
Ace formed a blade of Spectrum Energy in his hand.
"Spectrum Dagger," he named it.
He charged into battle against two Storm Sylphs.
Lucy joined him.
Kyle, Oni, and Noah launched a relentless barrage of devastating attacks, but the Sylph Queen moved like the wind itself. She danced through their strikes, dodging with fluid grace or blocking with shimmering barriers of air.
Finding an opening, she drove a brutal kick into Noah's midsection, doubling him over. Without losing momentum, she thrust her hands forward, launching a massive energy blast that sent Kyle spiraling backward. Before Oni could counter, she pivoted, slamming a powerful palm strike into his chest.
The three warriors recoiled, crashing into the dirt and coughing up blood, their breaths ragged as the Queen stood over them, seemingly untouchable.
Just as the Queen prepared to finish them, a massive fireball streaked across the sky, exploding against her with a deafening roar. The force of the blast sent a shockwave through the battlefield.
Emerging from the smoke was the Marshal Supreme Commander of the Dragons. He had diverted from the fortress just long enough to provide support. With his eyes glowing with draconic fury, he landed between the fallen Metsuju members.pp
