In the CEO's office, Liam packed up his boss's belongings as Gilbert Ace Carter, the CEO, was leaving his position to Finn Carter, the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Ace Carter Group of Companies. Finn would take over as CEO soon and was preparing to familiarize himself with the family-owned company.
After finalizing their plans, they left the office without accepting the farewell party suggested by the board members. Finn wasn't in the mood for celebrations and preferred to focus on his additional responsibilities.
During the car ride, Liam noticed a pink box containing a pink diamond necklace Gilbert had purchased for Miss Blaire. The box was almost broken, and Liam brought it to Gilbert's attention. Gilbert coldly instructed him to throw it away, but Liam couldn't bear to discard such an expensive gift. Instead, he carefully stored it in the car's compartment.
