Episode 3: A New Couple
Before the Mantis incident, Aizakawa and Mialethra were buying boba tea. But suddenly, the skies darkened, and from the ominous clouds, the Mantis appeared.
The monster began attacking the city—and then hurled an entire building directly at Mialethra.
Without hesitation, Aizakawa kicked the flying building like a soccer ball, diverting its path.
Looking around, Aizakawa realized he couldn't summon his army in time.
He muttered,
> "Too many people around... and it seems like Mialethra is the target. Alright then."
Aizakawa dashed toward Mialethra. She looked at him, confused.
> "What's going on, Aizakawa?"
Without replying, Aizakawa picked her up and carried her away from the crowds—intentionally drawing the monster's attention to himself and away from civilians.
Startled, Mialethra shouted,
> "What are you doing!?"
Aizakawa calmly replied,
> "Looks like that thing is after you. We need to go somewhere with no people."
> "Hold on tight. We're jumping onto that building!"
Panicking, Mialethra protested,
> "Are you serious!? That building's huge—we're still on the highway!"
With a reassuring tone, Aizakawa said,
> "Just trust me. And please, hold on tight."
With one incredible leap, Aizakawa landed on top of the tall building. In his mind, he grumbled,
> ("Tch... That monster's still following us. Feels faster than Jett...")
Mialethra asked,
> "Aren't you tired, Aizakawa?"
He smiled and replied,
> "It's fine. This is all for—"
But suddenly, he sensed something—the aura of the Death of Creation (DoC).
From the neighboring building, Aizakawa spotted someone watching casually—Kagelapan, in human form, sitting while sipping coffee, enjoying the show from a distance.
Evros thought to himself:
> ("Just as I thought… he's behind this. Darkness.")
Mialethra noticed his silence and asked,
> "What's wrong?"
Aizakawa quickly brushed it off,
> "Nothing. It's nothing."
Eventually, he found a wide empty field.
> "Finally… a good spot to fight."
Aizakawa gently set Mialethra down. She looked terrified as the Mantis approached.
He reassured her,
> "Don't worry. I'll handle this thing."
The Mantis lunged at Aizakawa, slashing with its massive predator claws.
Aizakawa suddenly felt his strength was somewhat reduced—intentionally so, since he hadn't found anyone worthy enough to face his full power.
Even so, Aizakawa was still incredibly strong. He grabbed both of the Mantis's claws and slammed the creature into the ground with such force that the earth shook.
He followed up with a brutal punch to the face, launching the Mantis into outer space.
At that moment, Aizakawa transformed into Evros, donning a mask forged from the World of Creation's power—though still only in its base form.
As Evros, he moved with incredible speed and aggression, slicing off both of the Mantis's predator arms.
Then he unleashed his ultimate move: Star Beam.
A powerful beam shot forward, sending the Mantis straight into the sun, where it was incinerated in a cosmic explosion that could end all things.
Afterward, Evros flew back and reverted into Aizakawa.
He walked over to Mialethra.
Mialethra, in awe and amazement, said,
> "Wow, Aizakawa… that was amazing. The way you defeated that monster—you were so cool."
Aizakawa replied nonchalantly,
> "Yeah, yeah… Just keep this a secret, okay? We should get going. We're pretty close to Mount Fuji."
