Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Arrodes

"A creation from the depths."

"Hidden and prying eyes."

"A magic mirror that grants revelations and guidance."

"Arrodes!"

Xia Ai'er, using the Elvish language that allowed communication with nature, combined with his understanding of Arrodes, improvised a set of honorific names on the spot, most likely to point to the Licking dog mirror.

To increase accuracy, he used his spirituality to sketch a mirror in the water, based on the design drawings he had seen before his transmigration, with black gemstones inlaid on both sides as "eyes."

His actions seemed reckless, and in fact, they were, but he didn't regret it; this was already the lowest-risk profit plan.

In the Cataclysmic Era, without cheats, transmigrators would die very ugly deaths.

The birth of the magic mirror Arrodes was related to God Almighty, and its level was probably between a demigod and an angel. If he could get help from the magic mirror, he would be able to survive better in this Beyonder world.

"Elf, are you calling me?"

Soon, a faint light appeared in the dark ocean, and the surface of the water mirror, which Xia Ai'er had "sculpted" by controlling water, rippled, and lines of silver-white Elvish characters emerged.

"It is I."

"I have answered your question."

"Now it's my turn to ask."

Xia Ai'er nodded with satisfaction; the mirror's status was indeed not low, a mere signal was enough for it to pinpoint its location directly.

The surface of the water mirror flickered, seemingly confused, but after sensing the grey mist aura on Xia Ai'er, the runes on the mirror still appeared and said:

"You ask."

Xia Ai'er waved his hand, and a wraith trapped in a water curtain was dragged over. He smiled as he looked at the "silver mirror" and said:

"This wraith will be an observer for the question. As you can see, my identity is rather awkward, and I need some help. Would you like to play with me for a while?"

He spoke directly.

Layers of ripples spread across the surface of the "silver mirror," as if it hadn't expected to hear such words.

"Of course, I can."

"I am, honored."

The "silver mirror" responded with a slightly stiff and anxious tone.

It was very happy, very happy to receive the invitation, and the aura on the other party also made it feel warm and intimate.

"Then, it's your turn to ask."

Xia Ai'er hadn't expected the Licking dog mirror to be so easy to handle at this stage. He reached out and gently tapped the "silver mirror" in front of him, smiling.

"Okay, I want to ask."

"Arrodes..."

"Is this the name you gave me?"

The "silver mirror" showed lines of Elvish runes, as if a little shy.

Xia Ai'er's smile stiffened.

He seemed to see countless boomerangs flying from the present into the future.

"You don't have a name yet?"

Xia Ai'er asked, somewhat astonished.

"Yes, actually, I only recently began to awaken my intelligence. Before this, I had always drifted aimlessly with the current."

The "magic mirror" chose direct communication between spirits, transcending language, making its expressed meaning easier for Xia Ai'er to understand.

You only gained sentience in the late Third Epoch?

Xia Ai'er was somewhat surprised. He didn't think this "magic mirror" had any reason to deceive him, but this wasn't bad news for him. As the saying goes, 'Heavenly treasures are for those with virtue.'

"Do you like the name Arrodes?"

He asked with a smile.

"Thank you, Elf."

"I like this name very much. I think it suits me well."

"May I address you by your name?"

Arrodes asked with some joy and anticipation.

"My name?"

"You don't know?"

Xia Ai'er raised an eyebrow slightly, then smiled gently:

"Xia Ai'er, that is my name."

"Of course, you can call me by my name directly. I am very happy to be friends with you, just as I greatly need your protection and help."

Xia Ai'er did not hide his purpose, and he also knew that lying had no meaning in front of this "magic mirror" which had touched upon a little of all five Beyonder abilities.

"I will, Xia Ai'er."

"I am very happy that you are willing to be my friend."

"I will also try my best to help you."

Arrodes's spirituality began to become active, and silver ripples undulated rhythmically, unable to conceal its excitement and joy.

It was like a lonely child, observing this strange and dangerous world in confusion, when another person extended an invitation to it.

"What do you need me to do?"

"I am still very powerful."

"I can take you to find the Beyonder characteristic you need, and I can also foresee potential dangers for you in advance."

"Xia Ai'er, you need to leave here. I can observe that a big fellow is approaching this sea area. You can go west; the sea area there is relatively safe for now."

Arrodes didn't wait for Xia Ai'er to ask; it began to actively introduce its abilities and helped Xia Ai'er light up the mini-map, illuminating large areas of shadow on it.

"I trust you, Arrodes."

Xia Ai'er looked at Arrodes, who was even more proactive than himself, and suddenly felt like he was playing on 'hard mode' but secretly inputting cheat codes.

It seemed that Arrodes at this time had not yet formed the rules and restrictions of mutual questioning like in the future? Was it not mature yet?

Xia Ai'er didn't pay much attention to this question. He continued to dive in the deep sea according to the mini-map lit up by Arrodes.

He was an Elf Singer; living in the deep sea for a long time was no problem for him.

"Arrodes."

He called softly while cleaving through the red-named monsters marked in bold.

"I'm here!"

It was almost an instant reply, or rather, Arrodes's attention was always here.

"You should know that in this world, there are too many existences like you who can receive revelations from the Spirit World, fate, and various other places."

"Although the land is very chaotic now, and They probably don't have the mind to pay attention to an elf in a remote sea area, I still want to ask, do you possess some abilities related to secrecy?"

"If you can't, then I want to find the Cataclysmic Interrer Beyonder characteristic that can help me advance to a demigod as soon as possible. Demigods, more or less, should possess some general abilities related to secrecy."

Storm pathway Sequence 4 Cataclysmic Interrer.

Xia Ai'er actually didn't want to advance to a demigod too hastily, but if Arrodes couldn't help, then advancing quickly was his only option.

At least a demigod's basic attributes are relatively high. The difficulty of finding a Cataclysmic Interrer in the deep sea should be greater than finding other Pathway demigods with secrecy abilities.

"Xia Ai'er, the grey mist on you is secret enough. If you hadn't called me, I wouldn't have noticed you."

Arrodes felt that Xia Ai'er might not yet know the mystery and power of that grey mist. It could only offer a subtle reminder because it also didn't understand much about it currently.

After seeing the "magic mirror's" hint, Xia Ai'er lowered his head slightly, looking at the faint grey-white mist still surrounding him, feeling both fortunate and amused.

Was this the unwillingness of the grey mist (Sefirah Castle) after missing its target a second time? Did it still want to try and salvage the situation?
